Modern Beach Home with Jetted tub, Views of the Bay and Dog Friendly Too!

ACE Cabin - Meredith Lodging

This cozy cabin sits just a block from Alsea Bay and is a short walk to a mile of sandy beach and you’ll also enjoy access to the seasonal pool at the Bayshore Beach Club, plus the neighborhood playground and tennis courts. This cabin will keep you cozy with its large couch and flat-screen TV and its beautiful bay view!

This two-bedroom, two-bath home offers two Queen beds in each bedroom, and both queens have new toppers. Two full bathrooms and the master even has a jetted soaking tub. Full-size washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen. Large screen TV with surround sound, and DVD. Views of the Bay and bridge, and a two-block walk to the oceanfront. The wood-burning stove is used only for the TV stand.

Home is also very close to two of our other homes, Twain's and Amanda's. The garage is not available. Charcoal BBQ available - Briquets not included. Now has Wifi! Dogs welcome!

Overall the house matched the description.There were numerous "sand spikes" from the ground plants outside that were all throughout the inside of the house, and the floor was a little dirty so we swept the floor upon arrival. Right next to the bay and the fishing was good. The beach and local residents were nice with the exception of one individual who thought he owned the public beach area designated by ODFW and gave us a hard time. We didnt use the pool facilities as we found out we had to pay additional costs on top of the rental, which wasnt clear upon booking. Fast communication with the property manager, although the check-in process was more difficult than it needed to be, as there wasn't an online portal to streamline the identification process.

Thistle thorns all over property. Inside and out especially in all carpets. All furniture very uncomfortable including beds. Bed linens horrible and towels.the entire property needs to be upgraded.absolutely will not be back.

no one at office at 3:30 for check in, maintenance man had to help us. Only 1 washcloth [no dish towels] for 2 people for 6 days, couch/hide-a-bed cushions so soft let you sink clear down to the frame ,no baggies or sealable containers for leftovers

Overall, this was a decent home that suited our needs. It was clean and well cared for. It was close to local attractions and the managers were attentive to issues that arose during our stay. Kitchen facilities were adequate, but bathroom linens provided were lacking wash cloths. It was chilly doing our stay and no additional blankets were provided for the beds, other than a couple of thin throw blankets.

This is a light and bright, comfortable, quiet home. The main photo shown is what you see from the living room. Well-stocked kitchen. Furniture is a bit worn, but fine. The beds are comfortable. The TV is set up so you can watch things without having to use your own subscriptions, which saves a bunch of hassle. The backyard is native grasses, all gone to seed (and including burrs) so not really usable, but lovely. The walk to the ocean beach is not far, a matter of blocks, but it is up a dune and down a dune, and those with mobility issues might do well to drive to a different access. The outlets in one bedroom were loose, would not hold a plug, but there were plenty of other outlets available in the house. This is a great place to stay.

Just okay

I will say that we felt pretty duped when we arrived at this rental. I feel like the pictures on VRBO are very outdated and it’s very misleading what kind of view you have. When you pull up, the place is overgrown with weeds with trash cans out front. When we walked in the whole place smelled like rotting fish. It was very clearly coming from the refrigerator that had not been appropriately cleaned. The floors hadn’t been cleaned either and there were foxtails all over the kitchen. If you just wanted to have a place to crash for the weekend, it’s a fine place to stay. If you wanted to have a place where you could hang out and enjoy the view, this is not the spot. I will post the pictures of your actual view so you’re not surprised like I was. If you have a bad back, you may want to choose a different place to stay as all of the furniture is very worn down and fairly uncomfortable. I reached out to the property management company right when we got there to see if they had a different rental we could move to. Their response back to me was “I’m sorry you feel that way.” That is the most passive aggressive, non-apology apology ever. Boo Meredith Lodging!

Perfect Little Place

We really enjoyed our stay here. Good location for day trips along the coast going north and south. Also, short walk to the sand. Place was very clean and management was kind enough to provide some special requests I had.The only thing that can be improved upon is the carpet in the front bedroom. It is very stained, beyond cleaning. The room is small enough that it couldn't be that expensive to replace. Besides that I would highly recommend!

Nice little house

Don't expect a 4-5 star accommodation. This location was the perfect place as a place to sleep at night. There's no patio, no lawn chairs, no lawn or landscaping outside. Don't expect to be BBQ'ing or enjoying the outdoors - there's no "amenities" outside the house. However, Inside was very comfortable for 4. We brought games to play at night, or watched a little bit of TV. Good beach access was about a mile away. You could walk or drive. This is the perfect "home base" - a place to come back to at night and sleep. Clean, comfortable, pet friendly. We would definitely come back again.

House is small but bedrooms are nice. The kitchen had the necessities but was not well appointed. House could use some deep cleaning but I feel like this is common with short term rentals and I would rent this place again.

Great place to stay

Went to the coast for a quick Mother’s Day weekend trip. House was clean, check in was easy. Was comfortable for a small family of 3. Location is close to waldport and you can walk under the bridge.

Comfort on the coast

We enjoyed a quick getaway with our son who was home from college during Spring Break. The home was clean, cozy and just the getaway we needed. It is a little bit of a joint to the ocean itself but worth the walk. We would definitely stay again.

Vacation breather

This was a mid-point place to stay between Seattle and Crescent City, CA. We saw some sights, rested some from our cruise, and got ready for the next leg of our adventure. The home was lovely, wonderfully clean, comfy bed, just as advertised. We had a great stay and would come again. Thank you.

Cabin in Waldport Oregon

This property has some overdue maintenance. Floors & rugs were stained and dirty and the kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned in awile. Bare minimum supplies in the kitchen. We left 2 days early. The rental company offered to send a cleaning person but by that time, we were ready to go.

Down by the bay!

Just steps from the Alsea bay, this house was a perfect fit for our family of 4! We walked to the bridge at low tide and got to explore the base! It was so fun.
