Maison Moffett ~ Bayshore

Confortable et mignon, maison de deux chambres à Bayshore, (les deux chambres ont des lits queen) Une salle de bain et demie (une salle de bain complète dans le couloir) et 1/2 salle de bain séparée entre la cuisine et le garage. Il y a aussi une petite chambre séparée avec lits superposés près du garage pour dormir plus. Canapé-lit dans le salon, vue limitée avec accès à la plage directement de l'autre côté de la rue. TV écran plat 50 pouces dans le salon avec HD. La chambre principale dispose d'une télévision à écran plat de 42 pouces, les deux ont un lecteur DVD. Magnifique grande terrasse hors du salon. Laveuse / sécheuse dans le garage, cuisine complète avec tous les appareils, y compris le lave-vaisselle. Foyer au bois. Près du Bayshore Beach Club avec privilèges de piscine pendant les mois d'été. Wifi.

We enjoyed our stay. House is in a great location, everything we needed! Only recommendation would be that the bathrooms could use an upgrade/update and beds were on the hard side.

We went clamming in Alsea Bay, made clam chowder, flew kites and visited the beach with access located just across the street. It was quiet and peaceful stay. Just what our family needed!

New Years fun

Stayed here over New Years with my best friend and my daughter. My brother lives nearby and it was great to have this cozy little place to come back to after a busy day. Most memorable was curling up on the couch listening to the storm outside with the fireplace. Very comfy! The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked. And having 2 bathrooms was a god send. We were able to host a meal or two and that was fun.

A Great Ocean Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Moffett House was a great getaway by the ocean with the dogs. Beach access really was right across the street. Although the weather was rainy or windy in early January, the neighborhood and the beach was quiet. The house was spacious, the kitchen well appointed, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom fully functional. Just know that the heater was old so it was noisy and the thing at the top of the chimney squeaked as it swiveled with the wind. This was our first time with VRBO, so was a bit suspicious of the need to contact the property management company with payment info. When I talked to them, they were very understanding and made it all good. We’d come again!

The beds and living room furniture are comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and it was very clean. We could bring our dog with us, too. We’d love to stay there again.

perfect 2 week stay

We love Waldport and can take many day trips from there. The house was just right for us. We had an issue with the garage door not working and it was fixed within two days. The reach access is very close. It was wonderful to have a heat thermostat in each room.

Favorite beach stay of all our trips!

We loved the Moffet house! It was clean, homey and close to the beach. The neighborhood and the beach were quiet and only a few people in sight (not like the busy, more touristy areas). Everything was comfortable and worked well, and we would love to come back again!

You can see the ocean in-between houses from the front deck. Beautiful beach, nice house for the price. This is a dog friendly house so there were some spots on the carpet,to be expected, aside from that the house is clean and comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed very early spring (March 2024). The house is perfect! It’s well stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds are very comfortable. (The fireplace doesn’t work but we probably wouldn’t have used it.) It’s the perfect location. Across the street from the entrance to the dunes and the beach, a great beach!! Close to Newport, close to Yachats. So many great beaches. Perfect spot, perfect house, perfect weather. We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friend and I have been dealing with a lot of health issues so I booked our stay at the Moffit House. It was lovely. The house was clean, beds comfortable and so close to the beach. We had a storm Saturday so the wave swells were magnificent. Unfortunately the fireplace failed but it was still very nice. Do not need coffee filters or toilet paper. But bring foil. Thank you for the opportunity, we will definitely stay again.

relaxing home

Lockbox was straight-forward, access to the beach across the street was wonderful and the view of the waves out the front windows was perfect. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, a garage, big TV, puzzles, books, all helped make our stay more enjoyable. Other rentals on the block allowed our family to rent 2 spaces and gather for meals and trips to Devil's churn, Cape Perpetua, Newport, Yaquina Head tidepools, Seal Rock and local restaurants like LunaSea and Pacific Sourdough Bakery. Thanks for an easy stay!
