Accès à la meilleure plage de la côte centrale de l'Oregon

Situé sur Yaquina John Point, Beachside Suites est au centre de toutes les principales attractions. Juste au sud de la propriété se trouvent le parc d'État Governor Patterson, Cape Perpetua, le phare d'Heceta Head et les grottes de Sea Lion. Juste au nord se trouvent Seal Rock, l'Oregon Coast Aquarium et les phares de Newport. Les clients bénéficient d'un accès à sept miles de plage de sable lisse. Les promenades sont paisibles, car la plage est semi-privée. De nombreux oiseaux rares peuvent être vus sur la plage. Les baleines peuvent être vues juste au large des côtes, migrant vers le nord ou le sud. Les phoques communs nagent dans l'eau près de la plage. Au nord de la propriété se trouve la rivière Alsea, qui offre des possibilités de pêche et de randonnée. Il y a des restaurants, des épiceries et de nombreux magasins à seulement 1,6 km. Il y a un terrain de golf à un mile au sud-est. Un centre d'accueil pratique est situé à 1,6 km au nord, où vous trouverez des centaines de brochures avec des idées de vacances utiles. Les anciens clients commentent l'atmosphère de la petite ville comme une raison majeure de leur retour.


Accès à la plage: Beachside Suite a un accès très facile à la plage. Il faut environ 3 minutes pour atteindre le sable. Cette belle plage s'étend de la ville de Waldport à la ville de Yachats, où la plage devient des affleurements de lave.

Attractions: Il existe de nombreuses attractions au nord et au sud de Beachside Suites. Environ 20 miles au sud sont les grottes de Sea Lion. Juste au nord des grottes se trouve le Heceta Light House, et certaines des meilleures vues sur la côte ouest. À environ 16 km au sud de Beachside Suites se trouve le cap Perpetua. Il s'agit d'une falaise de 500 pieds où les touristes peuvent voir l'océan et les couchers de soleil exceptionnels. Juste au nord des Beachside Suites se trouve Otter Rock. Il s'agit d'un groupe de roches très intéressant et inhabituel. À environ 15 miles au nord de Beachside Suites se trouve la ville de Newport où l'on peut voir l'Oregon Coast Aquarium et 2 phares. Et juste dans la ville de Waldport, la rivière Alsea rencontre l'océan. La route 34 longe la rivière. De nombreux touristes aiment conduire en remontant la rivière.

The host was very accessible. The rental was clean and everything worked. The refrigerator had problems, but this problem was remedied right away. Good location (with the exception of Hwy 101 noise and traffic being so close). The beach and the town were wonderful.

Small but had everything we needed

Having beach access was great, we didn't have to pack up the whole car to go to the beach. It was nice not having to take a four and two year old in a restaurant, we took full advantage of the kitchen. Great central location for days trip activities.

Great place for a weekend getaway

Good Location

This is a great place for people planning on a budget. It was clean and had everything you’d need. I would not recommend more than 2-3 people staying here at a time though. We liked that it was close to the sea lion caves, Heceta Lighthouse, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and two beaches. We would definitely stay here again and I’ve recommended this place to family.

Convenient and affordable efficiency apartment

I spent 4 days in Jeff’s unit along with my pup. It is modest but well stocked, very clean and comfortable. The apartment is conveniently located in Waldport, a 10 minute drive from Yachats, and a 2 minute walk from the beach. Jeff even called on the day of my arrival to make sure I had the check in information handy. It’s a great choice for budget travel.

Found a human molar in room.

The apartment was nice and clean until I found someone's molar on shelf above the stereo. No joke.The picture that shows beach access made me believe the access was right there. It wasn't.

The tooth in question was not in the unit before the guest's arrival. She mentions joke in her review. It seems someone in her party was playing a joke on her. There was thorough cleaning done before guest's arrival. The shelf where guest suggests that the tooth was found is a decoratve shelf that is about six feet from the floor. She would have quite a reach to put a tooth up so high. As for the picture of the beach access, it speaks for itself. The beach access seen in the photo is about a three-minute walk from the rental. This guest never made mention of any issues during her stay, and couldn't be reached for follow-up.

Clean & Comfy

The property was as expected,with easy check in and check out. The host was thorough with instructions. I had the pet-friendly area, and there were several options for walking. Beach is nearby, but may pose accessibility difficulties for anyone with mobility issues/bad knees. Its 30 minutes to Newport and 15 minutes to Yachats. There are limited dining out options in Waldport, but a fairly large grocery.

Perfect for us!

We stayed for 4 nights, and wish we had stayed longer. The suite is very clean and comfortable, and a short walk to a beach that was not busy at all. I have to say that for the price, I was worried that there would be some sort of unpleasant surprise, but there was not! If you are looking for something upscale and trendy, this one is not for you. But if you are looking for a comfortable home base where you can cook and relax when you're not on the beach or out adventuring, it is perfect! We are planning to go back soon!

Adequate but minimal necessities; good location.

Not impressed with cleanliness. We had to wipe down dirty hand prints on the fridge that were definitely noticeable. Also the pizza tray we used was disgusting until we washed off old, nasty food. Description of how close to the beach is a little vague but the location of the property is great. We stayed in the lower level unit and it noisy. This wouldn't be a good rental for a light sleeper. We're sure the people above could hear us too. At one point, they stomped loudly on the floor to let us know. Not good. When I reported this to the owner, his response was "maybe they had an argument ". Really? Not our problem.

This guest was up partying till late in the night. She said that the guest upstairs intentionally stomped on the floor, and continued all of the way down the stairs to irritate her. I said that maybe they were upset at something else, and not at them. She never said anything about any cleaning issues. The unit was cleaned before the guest's arrival. Any issues are addressed right away if they occur. Housekeeping was informed after the guest made her public comments.

The host with the most

I would honestly say the place is a little more humble than I expected, but overall clean and that three minute walk to the beach is spot on. Be careful how far you walk chasing the tides, you do have to walk back lol. With that said, Jeff is AMAZING. I got my check out dates completely wrong and he was so understanding and accommodating. In addition, you can walk to town which is pretty awesome. Between Chinese food (where you get sooo much, Grand Central (with the best garlic knots), and the wine bar near the bay, you have a place to go for food at all times. Also, if it’s your thing, the “elevated” cotton candy from the dispensary is sooooo good and that’s when all the food from the Chinese place is necessary. {Sorry I’m horrible with remembering, anything really, but even more so names} Waldport is adorable and just what I needed. Thank you Jeff for your kindness and a fabulous vacation location.

35th Anniversary Weekend Stay

Enjoyed the location tremendously, very quiet and peaceful, even after more units filled up above us. After my initial shock of NOT being closer to the beach..the walking distance is minimal (less than 5 min). Very private beach location awaits with an enjoyable walk to/from. Waldport is a beautiful friendly town, great shopping, great food (Chubby's is a MUST to try) Yummy!! Best burger we've had in a very long time, and catered to my diet needs. Everything met our needs... Comfort, quiet, peace and relaxation. We are mountain people by nature..this was my choice to go the the coast for our celebration. Very pleased with the outcome. And my man says "Better than hauling a trailer and staying in a campground". :D Easiest trip he's ever taken. LOL <3

Fantastic!

Was perfect. For those uncertain about doing a vacation rental I, too was very uneasy doing so as this was my first non chain reservation but Owner Jeff was beyond great about it. He was patient with us and explained all that we had asked and was very prompt with all of his replies. The property was very easy to find along with Jeff's instructions made it simple for us to arrive, access the property and drop our things. The suite that we were in was outfitted beyond any expectations we had had ie 4 forks, 4 plates, 1 pot, 1 pan, etc. Instead, it was a fully equipped kitchen with EVERYTHING that we could have needed (we even brought our own blender along to make slushies to enjoy on the waterfront and lo' and behold there was not one, but 2 blenders in the cupboard!). The suite was clean with no worries of unkemptness. All looked well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone I know - we'll be looking to stay again next year it was so great. The cost certainly outweighs the benefit as we saw it as a home away from home along with easy access to the extremely private beach (only saw people in the far distance and others just passing by walking the shorefront; it was beautiful). If you are looking to unwind with the comforts of home and being a tourist in this gorgeous part of the world along with the option of not having to deal with people this is the place to go. Nice, affordable option, close walk to beach

This is a cute little suite. It was clean, and well stocked. I loved how close the beach was, and it is a nice beach and easy to get down to. This suite only accommodates one or two people, as there is only a queen bed. The first two nights were relatively quiet. This is a bottom floor suite so you hear anything going on upstairs. The third morning and night was extremely loud and there was a guy there from early morning and then overnight going back and forth between the upstairs units and it sounded like he was moving very heavy furniture and banging on the walls and floors from early in the morning until very late at night. When I inquired about what was going on through Jeff, he said it may be a maintenance guy. Not a great experience and the guy was kind of creepy and stared whenever I saw him. I would guess this isn’t something that happens often though. A few things that could be improved upon and wouldn’t cost a lot of money- the shower head could be replaced. There is absolutely no water pressure at all, so taking a shower is very unpleasant. There is a fan in the closet, but it’s broken. Those are like $15. The metal thing that holds the key is very hard to open and maneuver if you have adult sized fingers. Those aren’t too expensive either. Overall this was a nice place to stay in a good location- close to Seal Rock, which has Ona Beach and Seal Rock beach, plus The Chubby Little Mermaid and Luna Sea Fish House- best fish and chips and chowder. All of the places in town that we ate were absolutely horrible, so I would recommend not eating in Waldport at all. Yachats is not far either and is an awesome little town. The little living room was comfortable and the tv has apps on it, so that was nice. The fridge and freezer works well and the kitchen was clean and bug free.

This guest unfortunately is not living in reality. Management was on the property, and did notice Miss Wendy in her car for extended periods of time. They were using their car for a smoking area.(Marijuana, which got management's attention). Management was very quiet, and was cleaning a unit, after guests checked out. This guest did not like the lock box, but the lock box will continue to be used, as they have been reliable for guests checking in.
