Vacation memories are waiting to be made in this well-appointed 6 bedroom oceanside home.

The upper level provides lots of space featuring an open great room with high ceilings and natural lighting. The large kitchen with granite counters, 2 full size refrigerators, 2 ranges/ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, pantry and is the perfect place to prepare memorable meals. The dining table seats 8 and the breakfast bar seats 3 and the king master bedroom has a large bath with elevated jetted tub and access to sun deck.

The mid-level features a den with french glass door entry, laundry area and 4 bedrooms including 2 queen masters, bedroom with double and bedroom with 2 twins with trundles.

On the lower level the rec room with flat screen TV, pool table and ping pong table will keep your family entertained for hours. The convenient kitchenette has a full size refrigerator and microwave. A large king bedroom with semi-private bath is also located on the lower level.

Outside you'll find the saltwater pool, tiki bar, hot tub, wonderful outdoor sitting area, fenced yard, spacious furnished decks and plenty of parking.

Happy Wife, Happy Life is just 425 yards to the beach and the sound access is right across the street. A sidewalk travels the length of Duck - great for families to walk, ride bikes or run. A short 5 minute drive will bring you to downtown Duck where you'll find art galleries, gift shops, water sports and top-notch eateries.

Beach vacation

We liked the house, the location to the beach was great. Having 2 refrigerators, microwaves, and ovens was wonderful. It was a nice family vacation.

Everything u could want or need was available. My family loved the layout of the house which suited our family since there is an age gap between my granddaughter and grandsons. The pool and outside areas were fabulous! We spent many hours at and in the pool. The location to both beach, Duck town and easy access to Corolla. I would most certainly rent this home again.

Enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group. It did have minimal kitchen materials but we were able to make due with what was there. The outside, however, left much to be desired. The outdoor area is in dire need of a clean up. The cement around the poor desperately needs power washed and there are so many leaves everywhere. The kids were really not able to use the playset because of the leaf situation and the heavy dirt around the pool area was not pleasant. We also were not able to access the key with the code provided. Since someone was always at the house, we didn’t feel the need to try and remedy the situation but that could be an issue for future guests.For the price and the location (a very easy walk to the beach), we still greatly enjoyed our stay. I do hope they try to improve the outdoor situation though.

Rental Property "Happy Wife, Happy Life"

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Pool and playground area were filthy. We had to clean every chair or lounge before using. The Hot tub had old filthy water. The outside shower didn't have a water supply and was being used for Storage as was the Tiki Bar both were nor available to use.The pool area had not been cleaned from winter with mildew, mud and leaves preventing normal use. Spiderwebs were all over the outside deck and pool area. There were loose steps leading to the pool and a broken child proof gate lock leading to the pool. Both of these were real safety issues. The two outside storage chests with pool items and toys for the kids was too filthy with dirt and spider webs to be used. Four bedroom TVs were not working. We were short on bathroom towels. There is a roach issue in the kitchen and silverfish in the master bedroom. The driveway was so muddy and mildew covered it was hard not to track it into the house. The general layout of the house bedrooms and pool is good. The negligence of the property is just too much. We had a terrible vacation week.
