Great place to have a get away with friends or family and spend some time on the shores of Moose lake in Bonnyville, Alberta. Have a drink cuddle up to your loved one and listen to some music while watching the beautiful sunsets on your own porch. Close to amenities such as hiking/off road trails, boat launch, golf course and the town of Bonnyville is just a short 6 minute drive away. The cabin sleeps 8 people comfortably on 4 queen beds and a pull out sofas, with space in the yard for parking or an RV. It has running water with private sewer and contains all the household necessities required for a stay on the beach including dishes, linens, bbq, fire pit, etc. Turn up the Campfire and Book today the lake is calling you!

Great Quick Little Get away

Great little get away for 4 nights! Besides a couple initial issues that we incurred, the stay was fantastic! Eric was there for our needs in short order; and the view from the property was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, we encountered some poor weather most of the trip, but the cabin itself made us feel cozy and comfortable. Only suggestion I would make is that the entire property is surrounded by sand. So with our pet being there we were constantly having to clean up the floors, furniture, etc. But other than that, we would definitely go back more likely in the summer time instead of spring.

Very nice stay!

Cozy, authentic cottage on Moose Lake. Spacious and well equipped. We were very comfortable over Thanksgiving weekend. Looking forward to coming back!

Weekend Fishing Trip with My Sons

The property was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean. The beach right outside the door was incredible. We also had great fishing. Highly recommend a weekend stay here.

Cabin was better than promised, lots of room, on the lake, nice beach, great fishing and Chris was a dream to deal with. We will be staying again next year for sure

Cabin stay

I stayed at the cabin for 12 days on a work trip and it was great! The host was very accommodating and even installed internet for me! Very much appreciated. 10/10 will stay here again

Good fo a couple of days

It was good for what we were looking for. Kitchen, dining and living room were really good. Bedrooms were very small. Right on the beach, great location. Only real negatives were the bbq was very old and fell apart when we were using it. Otherwiae the place was good

Great family getaway! Planning to return

The smoke and cool weather was disappointing, but this great property had plenty to do. Board games, binoculars, and wifi kept everyone happy. Towels and bed linens were fresh and clean. Plenty of cozy blankets too. Can't wait to try again next year with better weather!

This is a beautiful little cabin that sits right on the lake.

The Cabin was very cozy and had four bedrooms which allowed each of us to have our own space. At night the stars could been seen when sitting on the outside deck. they were so bright and beautiful. The customer services was outstanding. We were very happy to have found this little getaways cabin

Magical moments

Place exactly as described on the beach, with lots of added surprises like water toys and accessories for a fun day on the beach, a fire pit both up in the upper area as well as on the beach, and lots of board games and DVDs. Beautiful view of the lake to watch gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. Spacious rooms and lots of accessories for meals and a nice BBQ for easy dinners.

Tranquil Getaway

The location could not be beat! It was very private and steps away from the beach. There was a canoe available to use and we had a fire on the beach (there is another one on the property as well). We stayed warm with the gas fireplace and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. 3 of the beds were not even used. Plenty of cassettes and some of the decor made the teens feel like they went back in time. We will definitely be back!

Retro Weekend

The view of the lake from this property is amazing and definitely what we were looking for. Exceptional. The kitchen was very well stocked and set up for a group. Decor is very retro, thus the title - from furniture to stereo to jigsaw puzzle pictures. Very fun especially the large map and history of Moose Lake. All beds are double and too tight for 2 adults especially with no air conditioning. The stove/oven/BBQ were not cleaned upon arrival. Floor was swept, not washed upon arrival - true cabin form. The host was great to communicate with and very easy check in. :)

Comfortable Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Moose Lake. The cabin is just a few feet off the lake, the deck was a wonderful place to watch birds on the water during the day, and stare at night. Lots of firewood was provided for the two fire pits, and the gas stove in the kitchen kept the main living area toasty warm when the mornings were chilly. The area is super quiet…a wonderful place to get away from the city. Lots of cooking equipment and dish ware. Oven mitts could use replacing. Be aware the water is well water, and not recommended for drinking, although fine for cooking and washing. Wifi worked perfectly, and there were several DVD’s as well as music cassettes. Bonnyville is only a few minutes away if you need anything. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Our host was readily available, and check in was seamless. Wonderful experience!
