Bedroom enSuite bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. Also laundry facilities. Downstairs has three other bedrooms and full bath. 8’ x 48’ wrap around deck. BBQ and table for outside dining.
Private , secluded living space yet 3 minutes from Hubbards shopping mall.
It has a terrific view of all of the Bay with the Atlantic Ocean opening. CHECK IN IS NOW AT 2 PM DUE TO NUMEROUS INQUIRIES. CHECK OUT IS NOW 10 AM TO ALLOW 3 HOURS FOR CLEANING BETWEEN GUESTS

House has a good lay-out for a family traveling with multiple generations or older children/teens with one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and three bedrooms and another bath in the basement. Location is great for traveling to different locations in NS. View from the deck was very enjoyable and it's very short drive to a small, pleasant beach.

Quick visit

The location was perfect for where we had to be. There was a stunning view of the ocean from the deck. I think this was my favorite part of the property. We were only there overnight but it suited us perfect for our needs.

Great location

The house is in an ideal location for day trips around St. Margaret’s and Mahone Bays - just 50 minutes from the airport. Host was quick to respond to my questions This is someone’s house - just as advertised. Definitely book the Shore Club in town (which doubles as a dance hall) for a traditional lobster dinner!

Owner was great, answered within a few hours of problems. Very quiet area! Full kitchen with lots of added extras. Would definitely recommend this place for a family. Plan on returning with more friends at a later date!!

We had a good stay. Calixto, the host was very responsive and helpful when communicating on texts(on Vrbo app). His house is very spacious for my group(5 people) and very convenient with 2 bathrooms. Where the house is located very beautiful as well. You could see a bay from his deck and living room.He said he's working at a high rated restaurant in Lunenburg. Ask him if you are a foodie, he would have good recommendations for you.

Thank you for your comments but as far as parking everyone else didn’t find it confusing only you. I stated that do not park past deck. You did by 6 feet. I asked you just to back up your car because you were on waterline which I also described . Instead you moved car entirely. I try only to use lemon scent which no one has complained about. If you book again, I will make sure I use unscented for you. Thx

Really great place:)

Went on vacation with my Aunt, Uncle as well as our kids and their girlfriends. The rooms were great, nice view, a half a block from the water! Very close to Oak Island and Peggy's Cove! We highly recommend!

The place was not clean as much expected. All the spices, salt and oil were date expired. Basement’s rooms were full of bugs on the floor and in the room. Couldn’t sleep well because of those. Overall not recommended. Bad experience.

As advertised it is my house and I cleaned it over the last 3 days. There is woods all around.usually they bugs keep out but in cold temps they try to migrate indoors. I have been working on this with great success. I checked the bedrooms when making beds and I didn’t find any. Sorry you felt that way.

Beautiful location and nice cottage by the ocean

Quite area on Fox point, walking distance to Fox Point beach and Kayak rentals. The house had a nice view of the ocean and equipped well for all your cooking needs. We spent alot of time on the big deck. Nice restaurants near by including lobster dinners. We loved our stay in Nova Scotia.

Cottage was nice and worked for our stay. Was clean and a great location. There are renters a few feet away in another building which isn't obvious from the listing. They asked us to move cars to accommodate their parking, which we were happy to do. Later that night I received a very nasty, condescending, inappropriate e-mail to my personal e-mail from the host berating us for parking ahead of the deck, which was not listed in the house rules, no signage, only sent via inbox message in app, which we missed. It was very uncomfortable and rude. Not a bad spot but for the love of god: don't park past the deck!

I texted him twice. First time was at 12 lunchtime 4 hours before they arrived. He ignored that text and the second.. I told him not to go over the waterline and he did parking on top of it. This could cause $1,000”s of damage.

Cosy comfortable with a beautiful sunset view

We enjoyed our stay close to local beaches, kayak/paddle board rentals and in between Halifax and Mahone Bay. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful of our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. It was well equipped with a wonderful washer dryer, BBQ, waffle maker and coffee maker as well as many items for guests. The deck was handy to enjoy meals and watch the deer in the morning and water throughout the day and evening. I would recommend this property.

Great view

Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe.

Disappointing

The house is very dated, the basement is very musty smelling where 3 of the bedrooms are. I did not find it a comfortable place to stay. For what we were renting I found it very expensive for one night.

The house is in a beautiful position and has amazing views. It is a comfortable size and plenty of equipment and little welcome features. I booked the property when it was described as two double beds in two rooms and two bedrooms with a double bed in each .This was perfect for us. That was not the case and we had to double up with people we would not usually sleep with. Also the leaving time was moved to 10 am and l especially wanted a property with 11 am. Only found this out when trying to find out when we leave where to put the key. The furniture is dirty and only 4 dining chairs one with a ripped seat. The downstairs bathroom had to be cleaned( l have photos) the shelves in upstairs bathroom had toothpaste on them. Fridge door and other areas very grubby If this property was clean and it would be wonderful. The beds were very clean and comfortable and clean thick towels.Thankyou. Sorry to be so negative but wish the owner success in the future.
