Shoreside Unit

Escape to our stunning oceanfront retreat next to Fox Point Beach in Hubbards, NS! The Shoreside Unit is a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom getaway with a full kitchen and laundry. Relax on the oceanfront patio with a saltwater hot tub, barbecue, and firepit. Enjoy the game room with arcade games and ping pong. Plus, access a fitness center and infrared sauna in a separate building (shared with the adjacent unit). Breathtaking views and unforgettable moments await! 

Please note that we accept up to 5 guests in this unit, but this includes 1 King Bed, 2 twin beds (including one that is a pull out) and one full sofa-bed in the living room. As such, this unit would be most comfortable for 2-4 adults. Please review the information about bedrooms and beds before making your reservation. The doors in the second bedroom (2 twin beds) are pocket doors with frosted glass (we added a curtain) which may not fully keep noise out. 

In the summer, you'll be able to enjoy the view on the patio area and walk back and forth to the beach (200m walk). In the winter, you'll definitely appreciate the in-floor heating, hot tub and sauna! The property is divided into two units (side by side). 

The units are divided by their garages. The Shoreside Unit is located closest to the driveway of the property. Guests also have access to a fitness center (spin bike, rower, dumbbells, barbell, etc.) and infrared sauna in a separate building behind the units (shared with adjacent unit). 

There is no cable. You can use the various apps on the smart television and login to YOUR various accounts: Apple / Itunes, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Bell/Eastlink or other service provider online access, Youtube, Disney +. These are only available if YOU have an account. Don't forget to bring your usernames and passwords with you! 

Amenities state a Pack n Play is available, however it is not readily available in the unit. Please ensure you request it for your stay so we can leave it in the unit you booked. 

The hot tub is a salt-water hot tub from Arctic Spas and is for 4 people. It was replaced in 2025 (we previously had a plug and play hot tub). Specific instructions relating to the hot tub are in the rental book available in the unit.

We have security cameras outside to monitor the driveway, parking areas, entry doors, & firepit. We turn off the cameras after guests arrive except for the driveway, parking areas, and back building. We reserve the right to access any of the cameras during a stay or rearm them if we suspect a guest is not following our house rules.
