Deux chambres appartement inférieur lumineux (tous les draps inclus, cuisine complète avec toutes les commodités, salle de bain complète avec laveuse / sécheuse, salon et salle à manger. Barbecue et d'un foyer. Animaux acceptés. Plusieurs plages de sable à distance de marche dans un magnifique Saint- Margarets Bay (ne pas oublier vos costumes et crème solaire baignade). Magnifique 32 km. randonnée / vélo / 4 parcours de la roue droite à votre porte et de location de vélos / Touring Company proximité. Aussi proche de Queensland Plage et la belle ville de Hubbard. Env. 40 min de l'aéroport international Stanfield, crique de Peggy ou le centre-ville de Halifax.

Il suffit d'apporter votre nourriture et des vêtements et être prêt à se détendre et profiter de la brise de l'océan et le bruit apaisant des vagues qui balaient la côte! Amour à partager ma petite «paix» du ciel.

A beachside oasis

We were warmly greeted by the host and this property have everything you need and more. The layout is perfect for a accommodating the entire family. The area has many attractions close by. A great place to enjoy time in Halifax and all along the South Shore.

Great Location!!!

Beautiful stay in Black point! Conveniently located to many destinations. Clean apartment with all the amenities you would need. Owner was super accommodating and friendly!! Loved our stay and how close to the ocean it was. Definitely want to go back someday!

Cozy beach house, great location.

Beautiful beach house. Amazing view and great location. Good size for our family of five. Hostess Ethel made the check-in process easy. Laundry services were very much appreciated.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Clean, spacious, comfortable across the street from the water. Great owner to work with. She makes sure your stay has all it needs including bikes for the bike trail right off the back property and kayaks and paddle boards. Wish we had more time to play!! Close drive to Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Definitely recommend!

The best place ever I had!

These are extremely cozy apartments. The landlady took care of every little detail. Waking up and seeing the ocean from the window is simply incredible! Magical beaches are just nearby. Special thanks to the landlady Ethel. She is an incredibly nice person and can help with any questions. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone acquaintances!

Beyond Expectations

From the location to the host, amenities to cleanliness my friend and I loved our stay. Ethal was so friendly and accommodating. You could see and hear the water right outside your door. We each slept well and had everything we needed. We were able to reach so many must see spots easily, Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, Mahone's Bay, Halifax, so many parks and beaches and also did the local lobster supper. The drives were beautiful and views incredible. Hope to return with my family!

A little piece of Heaven!!!

A wonderful escape from the city! The hospitality was top notch! Clean... spacious and everything we need to have a weekend getaway. Ethel cared for us and provided us with anything we needed. The ocean is across the street so the sound of the waves lulls you to sleep and provides a fun playground during the nice days. This location is close to several beaches and our beautiful South Shore. Us girls will most definitely be having more girl weekends with Ethel and the ocean!

Wonderful "Little Piece of Heaven"!

Beautiful bright clean! Wonderful host! Beautiful setting! Of the 4 HomeAways we stayed at this was by far the best! Located very close to Peggy's Cove (30 min) . Host has kayaks avaliable for use. Badminton, bikes, with 35 k trail behind the house and so much more. Everything you need while away, she has! So many beaches near by! I can't say enough wonderful things about the host. She is such a happy bubby person and so approachable. The only negative was having to leave. This truly is a little piece of heaven!

Nice self contained suite

The suite is clean and well appointed and has everything you need. The host is very friendly, helpful and relaxed. We stayed there during Hurricane Fiona and the host did her best to accommodate us in-spite of a 3 day power outage and some challenges. She will definitely get a generator to be more self sufficient for events such as this. But meanwhile, a friend brought a pot of coffee over which demonstrated the famous Nova Scotian community sense and hospitality. It was a memorable experience.

Epic, down home hospitality

Such a little piece of heaven. Ethel is very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Location is great as a jumping off place convenient to the airport and south shore. Relaxing get away

What a great property and host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. The home is very comfortable and had every amenity we needed for us and our two dogs. Ethel was so hospitable and we appreciated her warm welcome, suggestions for places to eat and visit in the area and even the use of her bikes. The trail system right behind her home is fantastic and her property itself has a lot to offer. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Great location to access so much in the area!

Beach house

Visited mid May 2022. The weather was beautiful, the accommodations were clean and the host, Ethel, was very nice. If you are looking to unwind, I highly recommend this place!

An experience!

The lower flat was clean and very well equipped with almost everything imaginable ( though a battery operated radio might have been a good addition!). The beds were comfortable. The location was great, being close to lovely beaches and tourist destinations, as well as being an easy drive from Halifax. Everything was great until the arrival of a hurricane which knocked out power to the region. It left us without water, heat or functioning toilets. Since it was uncertain when power might resume, we left for home the day after the storm, 2 days before we planned. Unfortunately, circumstances meant that we left the flat in a messy condition that normally would have horrified us. Because of this, when Ethel offered us a refund, we agreed to accept only 50% to compensate her for having to clean up after us. If we have the opportunity, we would return to The Beach House and we would recommend it to others as a nice place to stay, but perhaps not in hurricane season!

Great location!

We were looking for something central to some of the spots we wanted to see - Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove, etc. This little spot was perfect for the 4 of us. We didn’t use the “property” much...only to eat a couple of meals and sleep, but it worked great for us. Lots of stuff to use if we wanted (bikes, boogie boards, etc) but we were gone everyday. Ethel was pleasant and friendly - lovely lady! Although we were in the lower flat, we hardly heard her upstairs at all. A great, comfortable spot!

Family Friendly Rental

The property was great especially for family with small children. Access to water, with kayaks, canoes etc. The bathroom is on the small side, but has all that is needed.

Great place, great host

This place was exactly as describe, and perfectly located for our trip. The place was clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the homey feel. I was able to make meals for the family and even got a couple loads of laundry done. Plenty of windows for a downstairs suite. The beds were comfortable. The host, Ethel was wonderfull. Very prompt on her emails, very helpful once we got there. I would definitely recommend this place.
