The Palace Loft is one of the best rentals we have stayed in and we have been visiting Salida for 20 years. It is very clean and comfortable. The location is unmatched if an in town experience. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities were amazing. We will definitely rent the loft in the future.

Great place in heart of Salida!

Stayed here over Presidents' day weekend, and one of the best places we've stayed at. Lower level has a ton of space and everything was very well appointed. Loft is huge and beds were very comfortable. Unit is right in the middle of Salida and easy to walk to restaurants and even the grocery store. Definitely recommend.

Downtown Hideaway

Tucked into the downtown scene without noise or traffic. We needed a place for a couple of nights before the rest of our group arrived. This was the perfect little retreat that afforded easy downtown access. Comfortable and chic. The hosts have thought of everything.

The Gideons

The experience was wonderful. Perfect spot for the 2 of us celebrating our anniversary. We could walk everywhere, the place was peaceful and it was nice to have a designated parking spot. The owners did a fantastic job with the renovations. The place looks great inside! A peaceful oasis was exactly what we were looking for, and got with this one. Thank you!

Everything about this place is great! The decor is beautiful, bed was so comfortable, had everything we needed, was convenient to walk to the river, restaurants, etc. We come to Salida every summer, but this was our first stay here and we will be back! Thank you!

Nicely located upscale property i. Central Salida

The property, and especially the property manager, were top notch. Everything in the place was clean and in working order. Comfortable mid-July even without the A/C running.

Perfection at the Palace

We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. The space was perfect for us. We all loved the character and charm of this property. The courtyard is adorable, the interior was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was central to everything. We enjoyed walking to the park across the street and the river - especially watching the river surfers. We either walked or biked everywhere. Highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Salida.

Lovely - and great location

This VRBO was fabulous! It had everything we needed - right down to including laundry soap. So thoughtful! The beds were extremely comfortable - and super pillows, too. WiFi worked well. Super lighting outside for dark arrivals. Very much appreciated the eye for detail.Favorite thing: decor throughoutIdeas for improvement would be: including kleenex boxes! and perhaps some new pans.The location was absolutely perfect for Salida. Walked to everything.The A/C had a hard time cooling the upper loft, but fans were provided (again, thoughtful). We were also there on one of the hottest days of the year!Overall, one of the nicer VRBO's we've stayed in.

Wow!

One of the finest properties I've ever stay at. Truly one of a kind. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. Parking was right out front of the unit. And the location in downtown Salida couldn't have been more convenient. Overall, outstanding!

Loved it!

This place is fantastic. It was beautiful and comfortable. The location is amazing, right next to the river and lots of restaurants. It was very clean and had every amenity we could think of. Master bed was comfortable and our kids slept great on the two pull outs. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family. Only thing I would suggest is a couple of more extra pillows for the pull out beds.

Ski Weekend Stay

The apartment was great. The directions for parking and accessing the unit were easy to follow. The apartment was just as advertised and had everything we needed, it was also decorated nicely. It is downtown with food and shopping on the same block. Would stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful!

My partner and I were looking for a quiet little getaway, and this place did not disappoint. The modern appliances with the retro decor was absolutely beautiful. Everything we could have needed, we were able to find within the home. The owners did a great job of ensuring everything was well stocked, and comfortable. Any directions we needed with how to operate something was easily laid out. We loved this place so much and will absolutely stay here again for our next trip to Salida!

Fantastic Place

We celebrated my wife’s 75th birthday and this place was outstanding. This added to our celebration. I loved the way it was decorated with items I grew up with. What a great place to stay!!! We will be back soon to this beautiful gem.

Perfect Stay!

This may be the best place we have ever booked. It was clean, gorgeous, quiet, and at the perfect location for walking downtown Salida. Our 3-year-old loved that there were puzzles and games for her and toy cars. My only warning would be if you are planning to use the sofa bed— it was very creaky/lumpy/uncomfortable. Everything else (including the actual bed upstairs) was perfection and I have already recommended this spot to several friends!

Spectacular birthday weekend

This is a splurge-worthy unit within walking distance to Salida’s historic downtown. Steps from the Arkansas river & great food. Very well stocked. Stayed cool during the day, I don’t think the AC unit ever kicked on - slept with windows open & it was quiet.

Beautiful Property!

We loved this unit! It's perfect for a couple or family. It was just me and my husband. Had everything we needed and was spotless which was great because I'm a clean freak! Also owner responded immediately to a question I had before we left to go there. She also let me know we were able to check in early which was awesome! Everything was right out your door. One of the best places we've ever stayed!!
