Beautiful property! Loved the cabin; it had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking at the wonderful view! Would definitely stay here again.
We have stayed here 2 times now and LOVE IT! It is right outside of town and a quick drive to many amazing things! The views are amazing and we fully enjoy the quiet.
Beautiful well-equipped cabin in a lovely setting with easy access to both Monarch and Salida. This was our second stay and hope we can make it back for a third.
Always a pleasure to stay at the Post Office Ranch! It's like your home away from home! We have tried a couple other properties over the years and always have returned to the Post Office Ranch.
We had a wonderful stay at the post office ranch log cabin. Dean was very gracious and helpful host. It was a peaceful setting with beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife in the meadow. We would sit out on the porch in the morning as the sun rose and listen to the small brook trickling by while drinking our coffee. The cabin with three separate bedrooms and a loft with additional beds was nice for our family and grandkids. The two bathrooms were furnished with towels and wash cloths. Access to the South Arkansas river for fly fishing was an added bonus. It was also close to Salida but far enough away that we felt secluded. We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was quiet and clean and the views were stunning. It snowed while we were there and they made sure the road was shoveled in the morning before we left. We had a great time grilling and the beef you can buy from them was delicious. I recommend bringing some home!
Always excited to return to the Post Office Ranch! We have stayed in this cabin for many years. The views are amazing. The cabin is comfortable and well supplied. Communication with the property manager is excellent.
The cabin was extremely spacious and clean. The cabin is in driving distance to so many fun activities. THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.
Father purchased ranch when I was 3 yrs. old. I grew up here and was able to raise my 3 children with my beautiful wife of 39 years. Family operated a dairy on ranch till 1981. Had to go to work for the state to make a living. Retired in 2004 and put the ranch into a conservation easement and built these cabins for you.
Provides a great get-away for you and your family and friends. From the cabin there are great views of the mountains. Monarch ski area is a short 12 miles away in the winter and world class white water rafting is just minutes away. Has 1 mile of south Arkansas River frontage and has 1 acre trout pond
This Historic working cattle ranch offers unsurpassed beauty and solitude. Great fishing and wildlife viewing await you. Cabin was finished in June of 2012. You will appreciate the uniqueness and beauty of the furnishings.
