We love this location. The perfect place to be at the beach without necessarily being "on" the beach, you feel like you're never away from it! Kitchen is very stocked with equipment which is essential because we love to cook at the beach. There are also lots of chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc which means you don't have to bring everything with you. Highly recommend.

The view was beautiful! We enjoyed being on the beach with spectacular views and hearing the waves. Endless restaurants, stores and cafes within walking distance. Ralph’s grocery store is less than a half mile away. The beach chairs and umbrella were excellent quality and so convenient to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Visited in February with my husband and our boys, couldn't say enough good things about our stay at the Capri. The host was great, the view was beautiful and the accommodations were just right! We will definitely be back!

Great location and view

We had an excellent time and we would stay there again. Great location and very convenient to go to the beach and boardwalk. Some of the towels were stained but smelled clean and were fine with us.

It started from the fact that Nancy’s hid that there was no AC in the unit in the fine print of the about the host section of VRBO. I hope you have fixed that by now. After agreeing to install a portable AC unit in the master bedroom, they didn’t show up for almost six hours. When the maintenance person did show up he could only install the AC unit in the back bedroom. So one room out of the entire unit was cool. I can’t believe we are the first customers to request AC in the master bedroom or common area and to not have the proper equipment to do so is unacceptable, especially after telling us that they could. We might as well have stayed in a hotel for 1/3 of the price. It takes 10 messages to get one returned. My experience with Nancy’s was awful and we will never rent from them again. Also to clarify if you are thinking of renting any units in Capri by the Sea, no units have AC except the penthouses. If it is going to be over 85 degrees your condo will be at least 80.

Amazing location right next to the beach, short walking distance to many bars, restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. Easy to get to and from other San Diego attractions. Would return in an instant.

The Best VRBO

I’ve stayed at plenty of VRBOs and this one topped them all. They got the big things right: clean, safe, spacious, well furnished. They got all the small things right: beach supplies, comfortable bedding, extra towels. The highlight by far was the view! This place is highly recommended.

Perfect location

The location and amenities gave us exactly what we were looking for. We were able to walk to the stores and restaurants. The beds were comfy. Only drawback was were were unable to get the tv’s to play local network channels and couldn’t watch football.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The accommodations were perfect—comfortable, well-appointed, and exactly what we were hoping for.I had some initial concerns about the lack of AC after reading other reviews, but it turned out to be a complete non-issue. The temperatures were ideal, and keeping the windows open brought in a constant, refreshing breeze that made the space feel even better. I'm already missing the white noise of the ocean.The unit itself was incredibly comfortable, with stunning views that we never got tired of. The location was just as impressive—spectacular and convenient, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.The amenities were also perfect—everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The air fryer was a great touch and made Dino nuggets super easy and efficient for the kids, keeping hangry time to a minimum!We also loved the surrounding area—restaurants were very family-friendly, garage parking was fantastic, and having so many things within walking distance made for one of the best vacations we've had in a while.Would definitely stay here again!

Spring break get away

We came out with our family for spring break. We have young kids- 5,4,20 months. The condo was in a great location, right off the beach. The beds were comfortable. The condo had everything we needed! There were lots of restaurants near by. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Unreal setting

We were floored to realize that we would be sleeping right next to the ocean and its ocean breezes. What an amazing setting! We were comfortable and grateful for the great setup of rooms and living space for our large family. We would love to return!

Great condo with an absolutely gorgeous view! Very clean. Beds were comfy. Kitchen well-stocked. Because of no AC, it was a little stuffy esp in afternoon when sun was hitting condo directly…there were plenty of fans to use when sleeping which helped a lot. Internet was very spotty. The condo is close to many bars & restaurants…walkable along the boardwalk! Would def stay here again.

The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of cookware, flatware d dishes. Towels and sheets were nicer than they had to be. Lots of beach toys, boogie boards, etc. Among the best units we have rented.

Return to Capri by the Sea

We have stayed at the Capri many times, but not in the past few years. This year's trip back to the beach was fantastic, in large part to the great accommodations, the nicest that we've had at the Capri. We especially appreciated how well the unit was stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs, tent, umbrella, and boogie boards. We will be back again!

The view alone is worth it

My wife, our eight year old and I rented this property for a week. The view from the ninth floor overlooking the ocean took our breath away. We’ve never stayed anywhere like it before. Add on the trendy neighborhood surrounding us, the closeness to most attractions, the beautiful beach below us and the swimming pool available to us, and this was a real winner. We will be looking for it when we return to San Diego again.

Suited our family perfectly

The property had plenty of room for our family of 5 (4 adult-sized). The ocean views and beach access were perfect! Loved the sounds of the ocean and the ocean breeze. Comfortable beds and pull-out sofa. Well-supplied kitchen. The pool and hot tub were just around the corner downstairs and were good when we wanted to swim/soak. We lacked for nothing. They provided a nice selection of beach accessories as well. We would definitely stay here again.
