Descendez, prenez une boisson fraîche et blottissez-vous dans notre hamac sous les pins chuchotants de la Floride. Regardez le lever du soleil de notre quai isolé et le coucher de soleil depuis la plage immaculée tous les jours. Se détendre...

C'est une véritable île entourée par les belles eaux bleues / vertes du golfe du Mexique. Situé à Colony Don Pedro, déserte, plages de sable blanc sur le côté ouest et intercoastal, backwaters sur le côté est. Mettez votre voiture sur le ferry privé à l'île et sentir le stress quitter votre corps.

Pas de trafic ici. Les seuls sons que vous entendrez sont les poissons qui sautent dans le lagon ou les vagues qui viennent s'écraser sur la plage. La plupart du temps, Stan, notre tortue résidente vous réveillera en passant devant quelques haricots verts ou quelques chomps sur nos fleurs d'hibiscus.

À seulement 200 pieds de votre porte d'entrée, vous pouvez vous diriger vers le sud sur la plage inhabitée, traverser le parc d'État, environ trois miles et vous êtes à la pointe de Little Gasparilla Island. De ce point sud, vous regardez Boca Grande. Dirigez-vous vers le nord sur la plage à la même distance et visitez le Palm Island Resort. Dans les deux directions, les dents des coquillages et des requins sont sous vos pieds. Surveillez le tarpon qui roule, les dauphins en croisière, les lamantins et les tortues caouannes qui se balancent la tête en marchant. N'oubliez pas de faire un plongeon dans notre piscine privée côté golfe après votre promenade relaxante.

Détendez-vous sur le quai avec votre canne à pêche. Le snook, le sébaste et la truite sont toujours là pour vous défier. Regardez votre appât, Jimmy l'Aigrette va se faufiler derrière vous et voler votre nourriture pour poissons. Apportez votre bateau et aventurez-vous dans les eaux fertiles de l'arrière-pays pour le snook géant, le sébaste et le tarpon. Ou dirigez-vous vers Boca Grande ou Stump Pass pour une pêche de classe mondiale en Floride.

Donc, si vous avez soufflé votre tong, ou marché sur un pop-top, détendez-vous, vous êtes au paradis!

We stayed for 2 days at this wonderful place - the house was immaculate and the communication with the owner excellent The clean up after the hurricane is nearly finished and everything is beautiful! Highly recommended

Beautiful beach house

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at this home. The house was so clean the furniture and bed were so comfortable and we absolutely enjoyed the grill, patio area, and outside shower. We definitely look forward to future stays at this residence.

Wish it was longer

Our favorite location so far on the island. First time on this end and what a great stay. The sunrise with coffee in the morning in the porch to being on the beach in minutes for shelling. Our family truly enjoyed the stay.

It was as advertised and more. Tracy was was very communicative throughout the process which made our stay seamless. We really enjoyed the us of the hammock and kayaks. We would stay again and recommend the property to anyone.

We loved our stay in Palm Island! The property was just as described. Wonderful location with easy access to canal and beach. The home was neat, clean, and comfortable...would definitely return. Communication was excellent as well...owners are kind, welcoming, and flexible, and respond quickly.

wonderful stay

house was terrific and was exactly as described on the web site. A short walk across the street to beach and a community pool. we visited in mid-September and were literally the only ones on the beach and in the pool. house was fully stocked. tracy was a great host, providing everything we needed, included detailed directions. we’ll be back.

Beautiful Property in Terrific Location

Tracy and Tony have a beautiful property they keep well maintained with everything you need to relax and have a great beach getaway. We enjoyed the first floor patio with hammock daily!! The private outdoor shower was also a great amenity and made it easy to clean off the sand from the beach. The location of their property is perfect. The beach access and pool were right across the street. Thanks Tracy and Tony for sharing your wonderful beach property with us!!

Quiet, peaceful, tranquility!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay from the first moment we arrived! Tracy, our host was very responsive. We couldn't have enjoyed the island more. One nice thing about the pool is that it sheltered, as we saw other pools that were on the ocean. When windy days occurred, our pool was perfect! The unit was perfect for the two of us. I’d say it would also be good for a family of four as the bathroom space is tight. The unit had everything we needed, and we especially liked using the wagon to bring things to the beach!

Deserted beach just outside your front door

We came to palm island just 6 weeks after hurricane Ian to celebrate our adult daughters birthday. The beach house was perfect, loved the fact that we did not have to bring our own beach chars etc. we literally were the only people on the beach. As Hurricane Nicole approached the other coast, our host was in communication with us regarding the ferry schedule etc. making sure we were ok and didn’t need anything, would highly recommend this place!!!

Beautiful well kept properly. Very clean, beautifullly decorated. Everything you need is there. Great outside area with swing & hammock & picnic table & grilles underneath home. Walkway to docks for boats and fishing. Just across the street is path to gulf & pool area. We rented a golf cart to explore the island. Loved our stay!

Visit to Paradise

This is the second year we stayed at Tracey's property. It is in a great location with easy access to the beach and also to a canal for boating and kayaking. The place is stocked with everything you need. Just bring clothes, toiletries, food and drink!! The rest is magic!!

Pure Serenity!

Upon boarding the ferry, my husband and I immediately felt a sense of total relaxation. To say this island is peaceful and serene is a great understatement. We have never been to a place or a beach that was as private as Don Pedro Island. I don't think we saw more than 10-12 families on the entire stretch of beach as far as we could see on the busiest day. Upon arriving at Incommunicado, we felt at home and settled right in. Tracy had left a hand-written note in the kitchen welcoming us, and her pre-check-in communications more than prepared us for our stay and how to make the most of our vacation. The unit was fully equipped for everything we needed and more! And the master bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a rental or hotel. We had such a relaxing stay and everyone we met on the island was so friendly. The beach and pool are literally only a few steps away and it was so nice to be able to run back and forth to the house as needed on a very short walk. A couple of takeaways from our trip: 1) make sure you have what you need before you get on the island or be prepared to pay the $38 round trip ferry ticket. Walmart and Publix are very near the ferry launch and an easy stop on your way in. Load up and make sure you have what you need before getting on the island. Coconuts, the little store at the resort, has a very small selection of basic items. They are not a full service store. We opted to buy an additional ticket and spend one day of our trip visiting Little Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande. It was lots of fun and a great way to break up the week and explore more of the area. We stopped at Publix on the way back to pick up a few things we forgot on the way in. 2) We were expecting to catch some fish either off the dock or surf fishing. We are experienced in both fresh and saltwater fishing and used a combination of different types of live bait and tackle every day we were there. Sadly, we only caught one catfish off the back dock. If you are looking for the Florida fishing experience, I suggest booking a charter. Others we saw fishing didn't catch anything either. We saw black drum, snook, and tarpon swimming and jumping, but they weren't biting. There were lots of "bait fish" swimming, so perhaps they had plenty to eat without entertaining what we had to offer. Regardless of the fishing, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Incommunicado for a comfortable, peaceful stay on Don Pedro Island!

Sincerely a home away from home

Before our trip even began . We had amazing communication on inquiring on additional person accommodation. Pleasure to interact with always. This home is absolutely what the pictures show and so much more. From time of arrival until departure absolutely serene & peaceful. The beach location was just walk across a sleepy dirt road for one of the prettiest beaches in Florida. Not another person on it for 3 or more football fields. So private. The kitchen has all accessories to a home I could possibly want or need. They also have a play toy bin for children. The outside shower was so convenient and a fun way to clean up from the beach. We also used the kayaks too. So much or little to do. Truly a slice of paradise. We will certainly be back.
