Idéalement situé sur le lac Walloon immaculé, ce cottage rénové du milieu du siècle est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade dans le nord du Michigan! Profitez de la vue imprenable sur le lac assis dans le salon / salle à manger à travers le sol au plafond de verre qui laisse des tonnes de lumière du jour dans la nature. Ces belles fenêtres continuent dans toute la maison dans les chambres et vous permettent de profiter de la beauté naturelle qui vous entoure. (S'il vous plaît noter: toutes les fenêtres ont des stores personnalisés pour tirer vers le bas pour plus d'intimité) Si vous appréciez l'emplacement et les maisons décorées avec goût, cet endroit est pour vous. Le patio intégré qui mène au quai privé offre plusieurs grands coins salons pour déguster un verre de vin et regarder ce qui se passe sur le lac. La cuisine du milieu du siècle est imbattable avec ses armoires en métal sarcelle restauré et donne la quantité parfaite de "funk" à ce bungalow en verre. Cette maison offre une suite parentale avec une salle de bain complète donnant sur le patio arrière et le lac avec deux autres chambres et une autre salle de bain complète. Walloon Village est à quelques minutes, où vous pouvez profiter de bons restaurants, magasins, bateaux à rames et paddle et bien plus encore! Si le village n'offre pas tout ce dont vous avez besoin, vous êtes à 10 minutes de Petoskey et à 20-25 minutes de Harbor Springs.

Wonderful vacation property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our experience was excellent. The cottage is well stocked with everything needed. It is relaxing, comfortable, and has beautiful views of the lake. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the dock. We really enjoyed the many options for sitting and dining outside. The beds were comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. The only complaint we have is the strong mold smell coming up from the basement. A relative brought over an air filter that we put in the living room and that did seem to help. I think dehumidifiers would help even more. But, even with that, I would rent this house again. We had a wonderful time.

Great Walloon Location!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As Walloon Lake vacationers for decades, this was the first time we have stayed anywhere other than the West Arm. Other than being next to a public park, we enjoyed the convenient location, both by boat and by car. The property was comfortable and well-equipped. The reservation and check-in process was easy, however a couple of days after we left, the management company reached out inquiring about a missing dish, which we never saw. They contacted us later to report that the housekeeper had broken it prior to our arrival. We loved our stay at the mid-century cottage, but this left a sour taste.

A weekend glance at Walloon Lake

The only downside was The realization that this house has seen better days. It is pretty obvious that the owner has lost interest in this one time Jewel. We would gladly come back next summer if The obvious maintenance items were addressed.

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication et emplacement

Great Family Vacation Location!

We had been to various other Walloon lake locations and for my husband it's all about the fishing! He and my son had some luck at this location of the lake so it made for a good week for them! The home is nice but a bit worn and dated from the look in the pictures. We loved the kayak and SUP boards that came with the rental! The dock was also nice to hang out on if you bring your own beach chairs which we did! Not sure if the place is worth the summer rate, but we had a nice time getting away from home during COVID lockdown!

Neglected Lake House

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures looked great! Unfortunately, when we arrived the home was dirty and neglected. It felt like the people living there had just walked out (5 years ago) and not prepared the home for guests. We had to sweep off the deck and clean the deck furniture. The refrigerator (small) had a block of ice growing on the cooling element that leaked water and ruined our food on the bottom shelf. No empty drawers for clothes, no space in bathroom for personal items, etc. The water toys were in disrepair and stored in a dirty dusty garage. A main outlet was hanging by wires. The slider door lock was inoperable (couldn't lock it). No secure trash disposal system (no city bags and no lock on container by road thus animals got in). I could go on... we made the best of it but would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it. This property has potential but needs some serious attention both maintenance and cleaning wise.

Amazing house, amazing views, on an amazing lake
