This home sets in one of the most beautiful spots within the Tramuntana in the North West of Mallorca, close to Fornalutx and welcomes 2 people.
The exteriors are beautiful. There are many lovely corners to have a BBQ, read a book or relax. The most distinguishing detail of this house is the private, 8 x 3 m salt water pool with a depth ranging from 1.2 m to 1.9 m, where you can contemplate the fantastic views over the mountains while swimming.

This enchanting property offers accommodation on one floor and 115 m2. Stylistically, it's a mix between warm colours and rustic details, making you feel like home from the first moment. There is an invitingly sitting-dining room with A/C, where you will be able to enjoy long table-talks with your loved ones. Furthermore, this room has a television (Satellite-TV) and a fireplace. The open kitchen with induction hob is fully-equipped. Respecting the bedroom, it is fitted with a king size bed (2 m x 2 m) and a shower bathroom en-suite. If you travel with a baby, we can supply one cot and one high chair. You will have access to a washer, an iron and an ironing board.

The tranquillity and the idyllic surroundings are probably the main reason you may love this property; furthermore it's a perfect spot to get away from it all. The small village Fornalutx has less than 400 habitants and was declared as a World Culture Heritage by the Unesco. The area is nice for hiking and cycling.

In Sóller you will find shopping facilities and restaurants. Sóller is connected by the railway Ferrocaril de Sóller, a historic train which goes from Sóller to Palma de Mallorca, leading past lush-green landscapes and the mountains. Furthermore, you should try the tiny, but very tasty prawns in Puerto de Sóller.

The little house was almost perfect.

The terrace and the pool was absolutely amazing. There was sun at the outside areas from 10am - 19pm. There was a road near by, but other than that the only sound was the sheep around in the mountains. The owner of the house did a lot to make us feel welcome. The house and the outside area had many personal details.

A truly a beautiful place

This is truly a beautiful place. The property owner is a nice and caring man (didn't meet his wife). He was friendly to us, but just as important, his finca is well maintained in every aspect. Every time I walked from the entrance gate to the main house I discovered a little new detail. The walk alone is a little fairy tail! Everything is clean, the view is beautiful. Almost all throughout the day you can enjoy the sun. Even while taking a shower when opening the little window. The house is basically next to a hiking trail which descends to the picturesque center of Fornalutx. It's just a beautiful 10 min walk and we enjoy getting our morning coffee at the little cozy square We took our little boy (1.5 year old) with us and requested a baby bed. It was nicely arranged but since there is only one bedroom we will go for a "two bedroom" finca the next time. For now it wasn't really a problem since we place the bed in the living room and spend all evenings outside. Firewood is just waiting to get burned in the lovely fireplace next to the pool. So relaxing! With our rental vehicle we took daytrips to Palma Mallora, Valdamossa, Soller (and Port Soller) and Port Adriano (streetfood festival). When our little boy was asleep in the afternoon we just enjoyed the sun while reading a book at the pool. We definitely would recommend this place!"

The photos are great, the property is even better

The location is fantastic. If you're a 'city slicker', you won't feel too isolated as there is a road just below the property (very little traffic), a couple of house nearby but far enough and the village is only a few minutes walk away. The property contains all it needs. The only his is the wifi. The owner -Cristobal- has explained that he is applying for cable internet but so far it is satellite and it was rarely working well. There is only so much data available each month and, like the previous renter, ours ran out very quickly in spite of sticking to emails and quick internet browsing. This was a big lack for a family with 2 kids. So we relied on restaurant wifi. Perhaps it helped us enjoy the swimming pool more. Great pool, lots of equipment in the house. Our host was amazing, bringing fresh fruits to us on occasions. He was very responsive to our needs (toilet paper, wifi, bedding) and always eager to please. He lives nearby so was 'around.' Honestly, an amazing place to stay, extremely relaxing. Beware that there is a steep slop to drive and a very narrow width to enter and turn. I am very fussy about cleanliness and details and I only have positive comments about the place. The pool was great and ideally situated, the garden with ancient olive trees well tendered. The house has been decorated outside/inside with taste and provides an authentic experience, far from the white concrete coast hotels. This house actually enhances a mountainous landscape that is absolutely sublime. An early morning read by the pool is as zen as you'll get in this world.

Perfekte Finca in Traumlage mit wunderbarem Gastgeber

Die Finca liegt in traumhafter Lage in den Bergen über Fornalutx und hat die perfekte Größe für einen Urlaub zu Zweit. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen; der Pool ist ein Traum mit herrlichem Blick, die verschiedenen Ecken zum Sitzen unter den Olivenbäumen laden dazu ein, das Anwesen gar nicht mehr zu verlassen. Auch ein offener Grill ist da, den wir genutzt haben. Die Klimaanlage im Innenbereich und der Ventilator im Schlafzimmer sind völlig ausreichend, um das Häuschen ab und zu ein bisschen zu kühlen, wir haben die AC sogar regelmäßig ausgeschaltet gehabt. Wifi auch okay. Marga und ihr Vater sind wunderbar, nett, zuvorkommend und ganz tolle Gastgeber. Bei Fragen antwortet Marga umgehend und ihr Vater kommt sofort vorbei, wenn etwas sein sollte. Wir haben mehrmals frische Feigen vom Baum im Garten bekommen, besser geht es nicht. Am vorletzten Tag hat Christofer uns sogar Frühstück aus der Bäckerei gebracht. Wir haben noch nie so einen netten, privaten Gastgeber gehabt. Die Anzeige der Finca lässt laut Bildern vermuten, dass keine Straße in der Nähe ist. Dies trügt, die Straße läuft tatsächlich unter der Finca durch. Allerdings haben haben wir keine Rush Hour vernommen, die Straße ist wirklich sehr wenig befahren. Für mich als geräuschempfindlichen Menschen wirklich kein Problem, das mag was heißen. Hier könnte die Agentur mit Bildern transparenter nachbessern (haben wir auch so gemeldet). Fazit: Hammer Finca, herzliche Gastgeber, wir kommen wieder!

Feuchtes Schlafzimmer - feuchte/klamme Betten und Kleidung, 1 Regalboden im Kleiderschrank

Schöne Unterkunft, allerdings in dem Schlafzimmer wäre ich demnächst krank geworden, die letzten zwei Nächte habe ich auf der kleinen Couch geschlafen. Holzofen ist nicht abgezogen, ganzer Qualm im Wohnraum, hatte noch tagelang gerochen. Zwei Geckos im Wohnraum, wir haben den Eigentümer kontaktiert und er hat die Beiden mit einem Besenstiel erdrückt :( Wir sind auf den Wunsch des Eigentümers eingegangen und haben ihn informiert bei einem Problem - bei Schlafzimmer und Holzofen haben wir erst gar nichts gesagt, nach der Geckoaktion waren wir eingeschüchtert. Außerdem war der Eigentümer sehr oft da und an einem Morgen stand ich im Unterhemd da, das Fenster offen, er schaute herein und ich schrie und hielt mir den Ausschnitt zu. Beautiful finca in the mountains of mallorca. Calm and quiet but also near to the village Fornalutx. You can even walk there. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed cooking and having bbq at the place. There are many spots on the property to relax, eat and drink. We highly recommend staying at this place and we plan to come back again soon!

Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht

Ein wirklich traumhaft schönes Haus mit ebenso schönem Garten und Pool. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Gut ausgestattete Küche und Grill im Außenbereich. Neben dem Haus gehen direkt Wanderwege ab und Fornalutx ist nur 10min zu Fuß entfernt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche.

MAGNIFIQUE ! Nous avons passé un super séjour. La maison et surtout les exterieurs sont encore plus beaux en vrai! La piscine est top la vue est juste epoustouflante ! L’extérieur est tres bien aménagé avec beaucoup de goût, le poirier et le figuier etait en pleine poussée de fruit, un regal pour les papilles en plus du regal pour les yeux Le logement est propre, bien equipé. Et par dessus tout, Le proprietaire est plein de petites attentions Nous reviendrons avec plaisir…s’il reste de la place ?

This place is a beautiful

This place is a beautiful one bedroom holiday cottage on the side of the Traumuntana mountains overlooking the village of Fornalutx. It’s the type of place that I would imagine many people would love to own for themselves. The place is very private, a place where you can really relax, with views that I found very interesting. The local birds of prey certainly know how to keep the bat population regulated in the evenings, great if you’re a bird watcher. We found some really good walking tracks in the area with some that would provide a good all day challenge should you have the time and energy. We hired bikes in Sóller from Kilometro Cero. The shop owner Boris was extremely helpful. My wife rented an eBike and I a regular bike. This meant that we could easily cycle to Deià for lunch and also Valldemossa. There is a good shop in Fornalutx that will supply you with most things like maps and groceries. We found plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, decent wine and toiletries. There is another in the village shop that supplies sourdough bread should you like that, we went there a few times. Nice cakes too. We found the short walk to the village very pleasant, it’s a cobbled path that cuts through the back of gardens and building So that you don’t have to walk on the road. It’s also worth the walk to Biniaraix, Cafe Es Barranc, for some lunch…lovely. I imagine that we will be looking forward to staying here again quite soon.

We spent an amazing week of quiet and sun, the house is furnished with all possible amenities, perfect for two people, and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The village is very close by, and it's actually a beautiful medieval location surrounded by mountains. I would definitely recommend this accommodation!

Diese Casita ist der Knaller!!! Meine Frau und ich haben 12 wunderschöne Tage dort verbracht! Seit vielen Jahren machen wir schon Finca-Urlaub auf Mallorca, diese war mit Abstand die schönste! Der Garten ist ein Traum und sehr liebevoll angelegt. Man hat einen fantastischen Berg.- und Talblick zugleich. Wer die Natur liebt und einen romantischen Urlaub verbringen möchte ist hier richtig. Die Eigentümerin und ihr Vater sind sehr freundlich und immer um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht!!! Zur Begrüßung stand eine Flasche guter Rotwein und eine große Schüssel mit Orangen bereit. Wir können die Casita sehr empfehlen und werden wiederkommen!
