Sa Casa d'es Mirador - SĂłller Valley Villa - Stunning Sunset Views
The best sunsets in Mallorca. Wonderful villa renovated in 2019 with unsurpassed views of the port of SĂłller, the sea and the mountains. The house is isolated (without neighbors) but only 5 minutes by car from the town of SĂłller.
It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with island and a glazed panoramic living room, all on one floor. On the ground floor a large pool with barbecue area.
Relax with family and friends enjoying the best sunsets views in Mallorca.
We visit Mallorca every year and stay in villas in Soller then Santanyi. This is one of the best villas weâve stayed in and definitely our favourite in Soller.
The architecture of the building - standing raised from the hillside and making the most of the views is stunning. On one side you have the mountains, the other the twinkling lights from Soller town in the distance, to the other down to the Port and out to sea. It is magical. The pool is amazing by far the biggest weâve ever had at a villa and again looks out to the views on all sides. An array of very comfortable loungers. The BBQ area is just off from the pool and so fun to do early evening.
The interior of the villa is stunning, someone not interiors obsessed might miss the details but the beautiful stone kitchen island contrasted by wicker stools and light. Simple white walls but with beautifully curated art work in all rooms. More than enough seating both in balcony and inside.
Itâs hard to fault it. The bad reviews just do not do it justice. Yes it is a sudden steep approach off a road but once youâve done it a few times you get used to it. Any small issues we had were addressed quickly by owners. We hope to book very soon again.
Avoid. Our stay was cut short with no water & electrical fault permanently tripping pool lights fuse
All in all, very disappointing and hard work dealing with the host management.
Whilst the views of Soller are truly amazing, the property itself is poorly equipped and maintained. For example;
- the kitchen offers a single setting per guest, no jugs, no hot food serving bowls
- the sitting room has one double seat sofa for 6 guests
- the mosaic tiles on the first pool step are loose with almost half missing already, so take care navigating with toddlers
- the lighting from the property down to the pool is non-existent. With the steps down being quite precarious, the entire outside area after dark is off limits to all but the brave.
However, the main issue we encountered was the unhelpful and often rude responses we got from the company managing the property.
For the last 48 hours of our stay there was no running water. The management company firstly said we were lying, then suggested we find the water pump and reset it. We werenât aware there was one and there is no literature anywhere in the house regarding anything to do with staying there. The pump would not reset.
We left the property early. We were then told the reason for the lack of water was our excessive over-use emptying the tank of 12,000 litres!
Put into perspective, that is 200 showers, or 80 days average personal consumption - when we averaged 4 adults over 7 days. We were out most days and bought in drinking water, so their response is both untrue and insulting.
They only responded to our refund request once the VRBO window had passed and only then refunded one night for the inconvenience.
I would not recommend this property or any other managed by âMajorcan Venturesâ or âXavierâ (Carlos) at all.
I write this from the perspective of an experienced 5-star Premium host of two properties.
