Beautiful property. Check in and out was quick and easy. We arrived early from our flight, we were able to leave our luggage ahead of check in so we could walk around and site see. Prime location to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and many restaurants. Highly recommend!
This is a great location, and enough space for our family of 5. We were able to safely leave our luggage in the hotel downstairs for hours before check in which was very helpful. Only downside was the air conditioning was not strong enough to get the upstairs loft comfortably cool. It's really convenient to walk to the market less than a block away for some snacks or breakfast items and we enjoyed Gelateria Valentina around the corner too.
The apartment is wonderful...it was beautiful, very close to the Trevi fountain and walkable to the Colosseum. The food choices nearby were amazing. The only issue we ran into was the height of the arch from the kitchen to the living room...be careful if you're over 6 feet tall. We would stay here again.
The apartment was beautiful, and centrally located. It wasnât easy to get to and we drove in circles trying to find the parking garage that was recommended which the gps couldnât find and kept rerouting us. It was very difficult to drop off luggage at the apartment given its location. Driving through the narrow streets of Rome on a busy night was very stressful. The apartment also had no hot water during our stay which was disappointing. The reset button for the water was also very difficult to reach.
Amazing apartment steps away from the Trevi Fountain
An amazing apartment with an even more amazing private rooftop terrace. We finished our 10 night trip to Italy in Rome to catch a flight back the following day. Wish we could have stayed at this place for a week. Great location and beautiful and clean inside.
This apartment was really nice. I loved the unique ceilings and walls. The location was perfect and felt safe. The only issue we had was with the check in process. We dropped off our luggage earlier in the day for storage, which we appreciated. They asked us to come back at 3 for check in. When we returned, the apartment was still not ready. We sat in the hotel lobby for 45 mins waiting for the apartment to be ready. Then when I asked for a taxi to be arranged to the train station the next morning, then said they couldnât do that. They only arranged transportation to the airport.
The apartment is in a great location. You are right in the center of everything and so close to the Trevi Fountain. The apartment furnishings are basic but the size is spacious and the outdoor patio is amazing with spectacular views. It would have been nice to have some additional patio furniture especially because it is extremely large. There were a few negatives- a neighbor in the adjacent building had a dog barking at all hours of the night and even though we arrived first thing in the morning for checkin, our room was the last place they cleaned which was very disappointing since we had traveled all night with children. We would have appreciated them preparing the room earlier. It was 4:30 before we could access it.
Perfect location for a family trip, three sleeping areas for everyone to spread out, and the terrace was lovely for evening hang-outs. No problems with noise during our stay. A/C kept the apartment comfortable even on a hot day. We walked nearly everywhere and only used a taxi for colosseum and Vatican. It was very convenient to have the grocery store only 4 buildings away from the apartment.
Located in the heart of Rome. 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. Shops and restaurants aplenty. Unique character building. Lovely roof top terrace. Showing a little wear and tear but clean and well stocked. Kitchen is very small but who's cooking when your surrounded by so many restaurants. Had a great time in Rome!
We were only in Rome for a couple of days with our kids but we wished our stay was longer. We were up from the Amalfi Coast showing our kids the main attractions in Rome them on up to Firenzeâ, the apartment was perfect for us with quick access to Trevi Fountain and all the Rome has to offer. Will definitely come back!
We (a family of four; both children are grown up) selected the appartment, because we liked the outdoor roof terrace. And indeed, it was the highlight of the appartment: we had breakfast there every morning of our seven-day-stay and we also spent several evenings there. The terrace is spacious and the view nice. Only the noise of the cars on the street far below remind you that you are in a major city. And one detail made my wife (a passionate gardener) and my daugther sad: Most of the plants beautifully scattered over the terrace had died, probably because the appartment had been empty for too long due to Corona.
Other reports mentioned the stairs and the small escalator - for us (I am turning 58 these days and my wife 51) this was no problem at all. We even enjoyed the small exercise and distancing from the world below. The appartment itself is spacious and should be fine for sleeping if you are used to sleeping with air conditioning. We have never gotten used to any air conditioning in any hotel (disliking its noise or light when operating, catching a cold whenever we used it, being too environmentally concious to accept its energy use). We therefore had to open the windows (in the lower bedroom in the hallway, in the upper bedroom towards the terrace) which brought in some mosquitos and noise from the street and from the other machinery (air conditioning?) in the inner courtyard. The kitchen was sufficient for our purposes and the bathrooms were nice.
The communication with the manager and the office personell ran smoothly most of the time. We enjoyed the service of being connected to a hotel. However, when we checked out it became clear that they are not very often renting through VRBO. They expected us to pay city tax on top of our rental, although they did not mention it in their offering. Rather, "all taxes included" was displayed by VRBO. It is rather sad for us that they are now unhappy with us although we only accepted their "all-inclusive" offer. Due to Corona the offer was quite attractive.
We once visited the restaurant that the hotel belongs to. The food was fine, but not outstanding; the waiter was a nice and funny person.
