Getting into Rome took us more time than planned but communication was great with the property manager. The location was perfect. 15 minutes from everything you would want to see in Rome. The Vatican was a bit further but still easy to get to.
Our stay at the Piazza Venezia apartment was amazing. The location is in a central location with lots of action going on all the time. Close enough to walk to Colosseum as well as Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. A lot of restaurants and shopping near as well. You can walk everywhere. However, the noise outside was shutout once windows were closed. The owner/property manager were very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to all questions asked. Check-in and check-out were simple and quick. We had transfers arranged through them as well and the transfers communicated through whatâs-app and went very smoothly. The only downside was carrying our luggage up the stairs as there is no elevator and it is on the 3rd floor, but to be completely honest, well worth the workout it required to have such a great location. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay at Francescaâs property! The location was perfect for us, very central to most monuments/attractions and we really enjoyed the view of piazza Venezia! The host and check-in agent were helpful and responsive and ensured we had a great stay.
Nice clean apartment. Very centrally located. Management professional and helpful. Would recommend but as mentioned this is only for travelers who can climb the 4 flights of stairs up. Beyond that clean great light and responsive owners. We enjoyed our stay.
We loved this apartment, super well located, everything is near by. The apartment is big and spacious, with a great view. The property managers were excellent, I would definitely stay here again, and wil.
The property is in a fantastic location! The apartment is very modern and clean, you can tell it was very recently updated renovated. Only issue was some noise, which I guess is to be expected when you are in the heart of Rome.
I'm so glad we stayed here, especially for the location and the view! It was conveniently located and we were able to walk everywhere. I was worried about street/construction noise but with the windows closed it was quiet. As mentioned, there are a lot of stairs. They were fine for us but could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The only recommendation I have is to update the couches. They are pretty old and have a cover on them that kept slipping. Management was easy to communicate with and even helped arrange transfer from the airport to the apartment which was so helpful. We would stay here again if ever in Rome!
The location was fabulous and the property was clean. The part missing from the online detail was that there were 82 steps to the 4th floor and there wasnât an elevator. There were three bathrooms but two were very tiny. The view was great and we had front row seats for the Republic Day parade.
Other reviews drastically understate the stairs. 100d rIman heat.... 5 kids...former collegiate cross country runner.....these stairs were BRUTAL.
ALSO, Harry Houdini took the photos. Much smaller tyan it appears but owner was great. Very helpful. Understanding. Id stay again but not in august. 3 batgrooms but t
oilets located in the showers
Ac very strong
Location is worth the price. Very safe
Great start to a trip
The property is very centrally located that's within walking distance to popular main tourist attractions. The host, Isaac, and his team communicated very early on during our booking process and offered very useful links for our stay. They also helped arrange transportation for 8 of us between the apartment and FCO airport. The property was bright, clean and beautiful.
If I have to point out any areas for improvement: We'd suggest you upgrade your two futon beds in the living room as the mattresses were worn-out and caved in and very uncomfortable for sleeping. Please also note that this top floor space has no elevator for your travel luggages (though, this is very common in Rome).
The apartment interior was consistent with the online pictures.
It is accurate that the description does not list an elevator/ lift; however, the description also does not mention the significant number of steps to be climbed to access or depart the apartment. Climbing and descending the stairs multiple times per day after extensively walking through Rome is a drag.
In the Summer heat, the air conditioning struggled to properly cool the apartment.
Also, anytime of year, but especially in the Summer when daylight is longer, the shutters and sheer curtains let much light in consistently waking us up around 5 am.
The location is great, being centrally located to many of the tourist attractions.
The views and location do not get any better than this. Across from the national monument, a 10 minute walk to the Coliseum, 8 minutes to the Trevi fountain and Pantheon. It's a modern and clean apartment, with 2 pullout couches, a master queen bed, and a bunk bed. The main bathroom off the kitchen and living room is relatively spacious and has a washer, the one in the master bedroom typically Italian small, and the 3rd one extremely tight. All are more than manageable though! The master bedroom mattress is comfortable, however the pillows are thin and not comfortable. More and better pillows would be a good addition. The A/C was sufficient, however they did not cool quickly - you'll need to leave them on during the day while you are out visiting Rome. The fridge and freezer are a good size and the Nespresso machine a bonus - however, why drink that when you have so many great coffee shops in the area! The check-in process was very good and owner responsiveness is great. They arranged our pick up from Civitavecchia and also back to the airport. The gentleman that met us at the apartment, Guilhermo, was friendly, efficient and full of tips for an enjoyable stay in Rome. Beware that there is no elevator in the building - you've got 5 flights of relatively steep stairs to climb along with your luggage. Again, very manageable, just take your time. It was a great place overall and i do recommend it.
Location was excellent. We walked everywhere. Property management even reached out and asked if we needed transfers to and from the airport and cruise port which we did. That was super helpful. They were very accommodating in allowing us to drop off our luggage b4 check in time. Communication was excellent. This was our first Vrbo rental and they made it super easy for us. The only thing I would mention about this property that would have been great to know in advance is that there is no elevator. Its 4 flights of stairs up to the apartment. Which was fine for us bc we are healthy and able. But for some people that might be an issue. Iâm guessing most apartments in the area do not have elevators. They sent someone to help us carry our 8 luggageâs up during check-in so that was nice! The apartment was large enough to fit our party of 8 very comfortably. We went to Rome during a massive heat wave. The apartment was nicely air conditioned so it was nice coming back to AC every day. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
We were four adults and four children and there was plenty of room for all of us. The view of the piazza is amazing and watching the city life from the window was very entertaining. The kitchen had all we needed although a bit sparse in terms of crockery and cutlery. There were two bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. We could walk to all the major attractions and were close to a good size supermarket. It was also just a few minutes walk to the bus station to take a city bus to anywhere. We enjoyed a local bar a few blocks away each morning for coffee and cornettos and there is also a good gelato place five minutes away. Curtains or blinds on the windows would be helpful as the spotlights shine in at night on people sleeping in the living room. This is a great and very spacious apartment in a fabulous location.
Our family really enjoyed this apartment. Firstly, the check in process was really easy. Francesca was brilliant with communication and we were met at the apartment to let us in. The location was superb and the view spectacular overlooking a beautiful piazza. Walking distance to everything in Rome. The building is an ancient building with no elevator and the apartment is located on the fourth floor. We enjoyed the exercise but if you have a hard time with a lot of stairs this is something to consider.
All in all a perfect experience and would stay again.
Location was perfect, apartment was perfect and host was responsive and wonderful! She set up a driver for us loved this !!! Highly recommend. Lots of steps but good work out!
The location couldnât be better. The apartment is within walking distance to almost everywhere we wanted to visit, plus grocery stores, restaurants and shopping.
The second room and bathrooms are not very large, but it provided ample living space for us during our short stay
