Great cabin in a wonderful location. Quiet and within 10 minutes of the entrance to the park. Great to have use of a washer and dryer during our stay.Lovely to share the grounds with the deer
This cabin is unique and cozy. Great location if youâre visiting Mt. Rainier. It has everything you need and could want-including internet which was hard to come by in the area. The owners put a lot of love into this cabin and it was a pleasure to stay here.
A great place to home-base yourself for exploring Mount Rainier and the surrounding area.
The cabin has everything you need to have a pleasant and relaxing getaway.
While it is in a developed area (nice lot sizes and well treed) it is positioned where you feel very secluded and remote! Very cute property! Would definitely recommend for a couple!
This home is ideally located for easy access to mt Ranier. Very private setting and comfortable inside. Perfect spot for two people. Clean and everything needed for a home away from home. Beautiful!
We had a nice stay in this tiny home. Communication was good. Home had everything we needed for a quick getaway. Very close to the entrance of the National park, however , Please note there is not a lot of restaurants/variety of food options near, and the few that are available, close too early. Never got Tv to work, owners did try to correct issue.Only real dislike is that there are no window coverings. Would be nice to at least have had window coverings in bedroom for privacy and too much light coming in early. Also better signage at street in front of entrance would be helpful .
House was gorgeous! Very cozy with everything I needed, and very clean. WiFi worked great, cozy towels and bed. Location was close to park entrance and loved Copper Creek Restaurant and Base Camp Bar and Grill. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!
This was a wonderful property. It is located just a few minutes from the west entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. The cabin was immaculate inside and had many amenities. It was super quiet being well away from the highway and the neighborhood was very nice. The furnishings were stylish and gave you a feeling of total relaxation and comfort. I would recommend that everyone going to amount Rainier to stay at the wonderful place.
This is an incredible well designed cabin. You can tell the hosts thought of everything to make guests feel right at home. Itâs a dreamy mountain escape. If you want to be close to the Park to hike, and close to good food options this is it. Canât wait to come back!
We had a lovely stay here! It was a weekend away with our toddlers and we felt both secluded and at peace in this perfect little cabin. It's so close to Mt Rainier! Not gonna lie, the French doors were a little tricky to lock and unlock but they gave great directions in the PDF sent before we arrived. So thank you! We would absolutely return and it inspires us to also build a tiny home like this one.
I enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was very close to the Longmire entrance to the park. I did however spend a lot more time in the Sunrise area, which is a pretty good ways from the cabin. However that was my choice, and I would stay at the cabin again if I return some day.
Great location to the national park, but no blinds
The location is great! 25 miles from paradise, wa. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. However, there are no blinds anywhere on the property. This made it tough to have any privacy and we were woken up by the sun earlier than we wanted.
We arrived to our destination loved the set up. Yes the French doors are cumbersome I would put the details in the check in. You have everything you need. Short drive to the park. Loved that coffee was offered. Comfortable bed. Bathing products provided. With the new cabin in front I would add window coverings you do feel a little exposed. Great place to stay visiting the park.
The modern cabin is beautiful, and has wonderful high end luxuries in a compact space, ideal for 2 folks visiting Ranier. Great cabin wifi, no cell or spotty in the whole area. The gas fire/ stove is lovely and beautifully displayed curios. Even the generous bathroom for a one bed cabin is like a spa...lovely tiled rain shower and open windows to the towering trees. The nearest "town" has gas, a couple restaurants and more or less a "market" that stocks some non perishables and frozen foods plus a few bare bones essentials. If you are staying longer than a day or two, I suggest grabbing food you plan to cook on site in a bigger town on the way in. Highly recommend stay!
Couples w/o Kiddos: Definitely Stay Here When Visiting Rainier
We would like to thank our hosts for their wonderful cabin. It truly was a treat and we were happy to finally had the chance to stay here (two years in the making for us). We would most definitely return here, though our adventures will be taking us outside of Washington for the near foreseeable future (or so we hope, pending no lockdowns). If you're a couple, we most definitely and HIGHLY recommend that you stay here when visiting Mount Rainier. We had a wonderful time, so much so, that one out of the 5 days of our vacation we spent the entire day at the cabin--only left it to take a 30 minute stroll in the neighborhood. In comparing it to other places our hosts' cabin is the bees knees. The Red Fern has the best tucked away location for their cabin on Paradise road. Really well done.
A better and more detailed review of this wonderful cabin exists elsewhere, but gosh forbid VRBO allow enough characters for all the good things one would like to REVIEW and SHARE about staying at places booked on VRBO.
We loved our stay here! Such easy access to the Nisqually entrance and the town of Ashford (check out the Ashford Creek Gallery, amazing local artists). The cabin is well-appointed and cozy. The wrap around deck offers the perfect spot to unwind after a day of hiking. Owners are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
This was a fabulous place to stay as a home base for hiking in Mount Rainier Ntl Park! We hiked 3 days in the park and this cabin was a safe, clean, relaxing spot to rest at the end of each day. The cabin had everything we needed and is decorated super cute! Very close to the park and places to eat and grab essentials. WiFi was a plus for sure, as well as the info provided by the hosts. Our favorite thing other than the park here is the Nepalese restaurant Wild Berry down the street! Definitely recommend if youâre wanting a place to be by the mountain :)
This cabin was a passion project for Tye and Erika. It started with a photo in a magazine, progressed to some drawings, then to some blueprints and eventually the building process began.
They say the best way to test a marriage is to build a house together... well, we did that and still love each other! Blood, sweat, tears were just a few of the ingredients in the making of this cabin! We're proud of it, though a few of the neighbors call it "too fancy for the neighborhood"!
