My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this little place in the woods. It is very close to the entrance to Mount Rainier. We loved coming back to the hot tub and sauna every night after a long day of hiking. The backyard has lights and fire pit that makes it very magical at night.
We loved our stay at the Nisqually Nest. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for the evenings after exploring Mt Rainier NP and we hope to one day come back! Ken and Kristy were great and very easy to get ahold of for questions.
We loved our stay at Nisqually Nest! The cabin was exactly as described and they stocked it with very thoughtful items. They really have everything you need - just bring your food. And the backyard is like a fairy garden setting and so relaxing after a day of hiking. Perfect for our stay - thank you!!
Great communication from owner when there was a ppwer outage, they even dropped off extra firewood for us, which we appreciated. Sauna and hot tub were lovely too
Easy check in/out. Hot tub and sauna were great. Also LOTS of deer. Private backyard, snacks provided, cozy robes and variety of books/movies. We had an amazing time!
We had a wonderful stay at the Nisqually Nest! We enjoyed cooking in the cabin, it had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were so nice after a long day of hiking, and the backyard was a beautiful forest backdrop. We listened to records and were able to unwind. It was a quick drive to the Mt. Ranier National Park entrance, and the town of Ashford (and other small towns!). Ashford had great options for coffee and meals, and an organic farm. Thank you Kent & Kari for your helpful communication, and for making us feel welcome.
We travelled to mount rainier from Vancouver Canada and hoping to find a cabin thatâs away from people and this place fulfilled our goal as we spent the night just two of us and sat around the fire pit and enjoyed the bathtub and sauna, perfect getaway place
Very clean with everything you need to nestle in and relax. Quite location. Didnât see another neighbor. I hope to return in the future. I would recommend to anyone.
Highly recommend this place if you are staying in the area! The place is clean and outfitted well for cooking. The sauna, fire pit, and hot tub are wonderful for relaxing. The hosts are very helpful as well!
This place was perfect! The hot tub and sauna were incredible, especially after a long hike at Mt Rainier. This place was very close to the park entrance, so we had no wait. Five stars!
We found this cabin looking for a quick weekend getaway not too far from home for myself and my husband. I had a little trouble booking so sent a message to the host and they immediately responded and got us all settled with booking our stay! The cabin was exactly as it looked in pictures, super cozy, and rustic, exactly what we were looking for! And the property was nestled back in the trees away from most of the neighbors and noise. We spent all of the rainy weekend on the couch with a fire in the fireplace. It was the staycation we needed!
Really enjoy the hot tab and sauna! This place could satisfy all your imagination of life in the woods. All the amenities are great. The property manager always reply in seconds.Love this place.Hope to be there again!
Perfect little getaway cabin for 2 people. The hot tub was an excellent amenity after long days of hiking. Great location if you're sightseeing around Mount Rainier. Host was very responsive and provided detailed tips about the property .
We're PNW natives. We've lived in the beautiful state of Washington our entire lives. Mt. Rainier is our crown jewel and the National Park is an absolute must-see. We feel so fortunate to have this cabin so close to our beloved mountain so that we can share this experience with so many others.
Perfectly located 5 miles from the park entrance. Our cabin is in a woodsy setting with lots of privacy. It sits back in the trees on a cul de sac in a neighborhood called Paradise Estates. There is a tiny home next door which is separated by a privacy fence. We do also get some road noise from nearby Skate Creek Rd. This is one of the most woodsy and provate properties in the area.
