This was such a nice stay. We loved the sauna and hot tub and all the little touches to make our stay very comfortable. The location was perfect for going to Mount Rainier and being able to grab a meal on the way back home.
li'L Finch was a great place to stay. The location to the the park was great and very convenient. The home was very clean and the property was beautiful.
This place is a real gem.If you have the opportunity to stay there do it its fantastic. It's a little short so if you're over 6 feet, you gotta kind of figure it out.But other than that it's amazing!
We loved the place and everything was amazing outside of the steam sauna. It did not work well in our opinion. It may have been user error but everything else worked fine.
My partner and I went for our anniversary. The cabin is beautiful and we lucked out waking up to snow every morning. The sauna and the hot tub were fantastic! The kitchen is well equipped and even though the oven was not able to be used, the toaster oven fit the bill! Overall, the experience was lovely and they really did a great job putting this little nest together! The only problem we experienced was the bed, it was soft and there was a divot in the middle so it was hard to get comfortable.
It was one of the best places Iâve stayed. Itâs because everything was readily available within the perfect-sized place. It could be a bit small for some people, but it was perfect for us. It's the cutest place ever.
This location is so cute, clean, and has all of the amenities you could need (gift basket upon arrival, heated floors, stocked shower, etc.). The sauna and hot tub were great and easy to use. Hosts were responsive and proactive, providing us with lots of recommendations and knowledge about the parks/surrounding area. Would definitely stay again!
This was an awesome home. Every detail was thought out. Clean and just lovely. The kitchen is ready to cook almost any meal you bring. The Sauna and Hottub were a great little getaway adjacent to the house. We had a wonderful few days away from the world. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
My stay at this little cabin was nothing short of fantastic.
Though the cabin was small, it had everything I needed and I did not feel cramped at all. The outdoor space really added so much living space, relaxation, and value to this property. I would love to come back in the future.
This was an incredibly beautiful piece of property. The sauna and hot tub transformed this property from just a tiny house to a full destination. The ceiling on the upper bunk was really hard for my giant husband to walk, but my little self fit just fine. The couch is NOT comfortable though. Gas and wood fire pits made it nice to sit outside while it was in the 20s. The Edison bulb lights hanging everywhere was a nice addition. They had condiments for the food we brought. Just a really nice spot with a dishwasher, toaster oven, microwave and all the amenities. The heated floors were a very nice surprise and so was the heated towel bar. Canât say nice enough things. Perfect place for us to have a weekend mini vacation.
Great little cabin for 2. My wife and I needed a good mental reset after a particularly rough year. This cabin gave us what we needed. It was quiet, it was beautiful, and it was intimate. We just rested, enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna, watched some tv and talked. The facilities were clean and simple. The owners communicated everything well and even notified of a technical issue with one of the appliances and how they had a temporary fix for our convenience. The little basket with snacks, beers, and hot cocoa was a nice touch. The Lil' Finch cabin is definitely a place we would/will stay at again.
Great little cabin for two! Extremely well laid out inside, feels way bigger than it looks/ is, and a perfect mix of rustic cabin look with modern touches. All the outdoor areas have a very private and secluded feel to them. Kent was a great host and always replied quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely book again.
Everything about the cabin is well thought out and is such a beautiful home away from home. We greatly appreciated the festive touch and stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the sauna/hot tub was lovely! The hosts are great and easy to communicate with as well.Be aware that power outages can happen and with that, there are lanterns and flash lights available as well as a back up option to charge your phone. However, you lose all other amenities and we felt like we lost out on our full day of enjoying the premises when the power went out.The supply closet for the cleaners is right next to the driveway so someone is always around from 11-4 while taking care of the other rentals nearby.
My partner and I decided we wanted to visit Mt Rainier National Park to celebrate 9 wonderful years of love, and the Lil' Finch cabin was SUCH an amazing part of an incredible weekend. Kent and Kari were very communicative and let us know about what potential needs we might have, from grocery shopping to firewood and where to buy rainier passes and what time to leave to avoid so much of the traffic into the park!
The cabin itself was stunning and had so many amenities - a kitchen for us to cook our meals, a smart tv for any relaxation needs (we brought a computer and our HDMI cord to stream a series and it worked amazing!), a nice shower complete with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, a heated towel rack and heated floors throughout the first floor of the cabin, a grill, a fire table, a fire pit (though there was currently a burn ban on flames over 2 feet), a hammock to relax in, and of course the hot tub and sauna! The sauna also has a bucket with a spoon so that you can pour water over the stones to make it a steam room. We made sure to enjoy almost all of these (we had nothing to grill) and it really made our stay feel so glamorous and relaxing. The cabin is very close to the Nisqually entrance to MRNP and when leaving at 9 am on a Saturday it only took us about an hour to reach the Paradise visitor center, and only about 20 minutes in traffic waiting to enter the park! It's also about a half hour from Alder lake which has a lovely beach spot we enjoyed. 10/10!!!
