Une promenade facile Ă  Canyon Lodge (en chaussures de ski !!!) oĂč vous pouvez prendre l'ascenseur jusqu'au sommet de la montagne ou sauter sur la tĂ©lĂ©cabine du village jusqu'au village. On se croirait dans une maison privĂ©e avec seulement trois autres condos dans le bĂątiment. Amazing place, walk to Canyon Lodge

This spot is great - we had two families stay here (4 adults, 5 kids) and the large square footage provided plenty of room to spread out. The amenities were all top notch - kitchen is fully stocked, we used the gas BBQ multiple nights, the hot tub and sauna were definitely key after a day on the slopes. Would totally stay here again!

great place and location

This was probably one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in at Mammoth. Everything was super clean, the condo is really large and the location is perfect. Mary Beth is a fantastic host and was quick to respond if we needed anything or if we had any questions. 6 stars!

Quiet and comfortable escape!

Beautiful property! Comfortably furnished, well-equipped kitchen, quiet, and relaxing place after a day of skiing. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge. I especially appreciated the spaciousness of the underground parking - plenty of clearance for rooftop cargo carriers. We would definitely enjoy staying here again in the future.

Great launch point

Easily walkable to Canyon base area even with ski boots. Clean and spacious condo with good cooking, eating, living and sleeping spaces. Indoor parking was a huge benefit. Not near restaurants or groceries.

Mother's Day Getaway

The property is spacious and clean with enough room to spread out and be comfortable. Our in-laws came from Northern California and met us for a wonderful weekend of skiing, snowboarding, board games and hiking. Mary Beth was very responsive. We loved our weekend!

Perfect location!

My family and I had a great stay! The location is super close to Canyon Lodge (walkable), with easy garage parking. You can also take the Gondola from Canyon Lodge to the Village in town. Note the condo is up two flights of stairs, but we didn't have a problem with it (other than lugging up our suitcases)! The condo is clean and spacious, and Mary Beth was very quick to respond to all of our questions! Overall we had an amazing time - the condo served us perfectly.

Fantastic base for Eastern Sierras vacation

This condo truly earns all of its 5 star reviews. Hugely spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. This condo offers a level of hotel level luxury which is quite rare in a short stay vacation home. We stayed here in a group of four adults and two children and had more then enough space. Mary Beth was super responsive with pre-check-in information and with any minor questions I had during our stay. She is easily the most responsive, helpful VRBO owner I have dealt with. This property is highly recommended - I would be delighted to return here on my next trip to this amazing part of the world.

Wonderful host

So the condo was wonderful. Walking distance from the Canyon Lodge. Well set up for 2 couples and 2 singles who love to ski. And my dog Riley. What made this place exceptional is that we arrived during the snowpocolypse (roads were closed, snowbands up to the 3rd story, power outages, etc) - and Marybeth went our her way to ensure we had the right apps to stay safe getting to Mammoth and then leaving again. I very much appreciated how much she cared.

Lovely stay at Canyon Lodge Resort

We three couples spent a very enjoyable week at Canyon Lodge Resort. Mary Beth was great to work with. Access was easy with codes to garage and doors. Views were beautiful. Condo was clean, comfortable and roomy. Kitchen was missing a few essentials we mentioned to Mary Ann - like pot holders and measuring spoons, but otherwise quite well stocked. We appreciated having the washer and dryer and supply of detergent. Condo was close to town, skiing and only a few houses from the bus stop. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful Condo!

Our party of 8 stayed for 4 nights. This place was perfect! It was spacious and comfortable. It is in a great location and is only about a 5-minute walk to Canyon Lodge. It was an easy walk with ski gear. The blue line is also a 2 minute walk that will take you to the village. The kitchen is well stocked. It had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. The hot tub and sauna were a plus after a day of skiing. The best part is you only share them with one other condo. This is a wonderful place with a wonderful host! Mary was easy to communicate with. The response time was always quick and very helpful. We will definitely be staying again!

The perfect family vacation!

We had an incredible family vacation with eight people. Upon arrival, we were able to easily unload in the garage and our kids wasted no time finding great sledding hills directly behind Sonenalp. The location is ideal
walking distance to Canyon Lodge and a free shuttle ride away from the Village! It features an open floor plan to relax and entertain in the tastefully appointed living area with a cozy fireplace. The full-size kitchen is gorgeous and fully-equipped. We enjoyed the watching the falling snow out the windows as we ate breakfast. The bathrooms and bedrooms were really nice and the beds were so comfortable and cozy! The hot tub was a wonderful and relaxing way to end a day of skiing and sledding. This was a vacation we will not forget! We will be back to Sonenalp!

Perfect In Every Way

Wonderful place truely 5 Stars all the way around Even more beautiful and “posh and open” and when you enter the front door it definintly has that WOW factor Everything was just perfect and this home is so very nicely appointed you will not be disappointed in any way Wonderful semi private jacuzzi and sauna out on the deck was a wonderful end to a day of skiing We highly recommend The Charming Chalet to anyone looking for a very upscale home We were fortunate enough to book as there was a cancellation because they are usually booked through the entire season We cooked in every night after skiing and the kitchen is very well equipped everything you will need to make dinner. Very top shelf serving pieces as well as nice glassware and flatwear Thank you so much Mary Beth you were so quick to answer and email or a text You get 10 stars ! We willl return and it was very hard to leave this beautiful home this morning “The Mountains are calling and I must go” John Muir So we will return !!

Returning to the "Charming Chalet"--Canyon Lodge

Our family just returned from revisiting this great condo! Our first visit was in August of 2016 and we had to return with more family members to share this very comfortable condo and experience the beauty of Mammoth Lakes. The condo is well appointed and truly perfect for a family, a small group or just as a romantic get-away! The condo is spacious with an open floor plan that is inviting and very comfortable providing separation of bedrooms to give a sense of privacy. There's plenty of space for people to gather around the dining table, kitchen/island, living room, fireplace as well as the hot tub, bbq and sauna on the rear balcony. Three bathrooms made it easy for our group to get ready and out the door. The enclosed two car parking with remote control access is great especially in cold weather. The condo has a great location--close to the village, close and easy access to the lakes and extremely close access to the ski lifts. We plan to book this condo again for a ski vacation! Whether you want to hike the beautiful trails, go boating or fishing on the pristine lakes, ski, enjoy activities in the village or just read a book next to the fireplace--this condo is comfortably perfect!

Exceeded all expectations!!

Had a wonderful stay that exceeded all my expectations and made for a very enjoyable vacation. The condo is extremely spacious (more so than the photos do it justice) and with 4 adults and 3 children, we were never in each other's space. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and I really appreciated how the everyday essentials (paper towels, dish soap, etc) were generously provided. I've stayed at several properties where you are extremely limited by a roll of paper towels or a few rolls of toilet paper. We never had an issue running out of any supplies like this and what a nice perk that was! Additionally, the unit was extremely well stocked with towels and linens - again, such a relief and nice comfort. The underground garage was a wonderful thing to have as it was dumping snow outside - it makes putting chains on a breeze! The location is as good as it can get - just a short 10 min walk to Canyon lodge. Such a treat too to come back from the slopes and have a hot tub and sauna at your disposal. Communication with Marybeth was always prompt and extremely helpful - thank you for such an amazing location for our trip! We are already looking at dates for next year and won't go anywhere else!

Cozy Mountain Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this place in Mammoth. The place was clean, well stocked and close to the slopes. The management company is great and very easy to communicate with. We would stay again! Thanks!

Great property

Such a close walk to Canyon Lodge made it so convenient when not having to worry about parking. Plus having the garage saved our cars from getting buried in snow. Love this property. Definitely book it đŸ‘đŸŒ

These condos are owned by two SoCal families who love Mammoth for its idyllic weather, breath-taking beauty and unique vibe. We love to spend as much time at our homes in Mammoth as we can with our children and friends enjoying Mammoth's year-around sports, activities, festivals. And when we can't be there, we love having the opportunity to share our homes with you! In the summer we hike, bike, canoe and fish. We live for the winters, of course, when we take every opportunity to ski, board, sled and play hard. Both families had visited Mammoth for many years but as soon as we saw Sonenalp and its ideal location we knew these homes were perfect for us!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have been looking for the perfect Mammoth property for over 2 years. Once we saw Sonenalp #4 we instantly fell in love. Our number #1 priority was location. We wanted something where we could walk to the slopes and easily get into town. This location is less than a 5 minute walk to Canyon Lodge and a 10 minute walk to town.

In addition to the great location, the condo was built with the utmost attention to detail. All materials, fixtures and appliances are top of the line. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream and the open floor plan is perfect for entertaining and socializing. Lastly, being one of only 4 units in the building, this condo feels more like a single family than a condo.

As soon as you enter the home we are sure you will feel right at home just as we did.
