Nice location and garage parking!

I give this place 4 stars. The way they handled other issues while staying at the property took them from a 3 to a 4. Would have been 5 stars if the quality of the beds were better in all rooms.

Convenient location & nice place

We enjoyed our stay! Location is very close to the canyon lodge, the condo also has 2 car garage parking, which is very helpful during the snowing days. The kitchen is fairly large with a sizable island, fully stocked. I especially like the gourmet coffee! And the steam room & jacuzzi is definitely a plus!! The manager is very responsive. Will definitely come back again

Beautiful property and great location! Walking distance to the lodge, gondola and buses. Mary Beth, property manager was professional and helpful. It was nice having a garage and EV charger.

Great place! Lots of space

The place was great. Easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 grade-school kids. The host was very responsive. Heads up, Canyon Lodge is ~0.3 mi so keep that in mind if you have small ones and equipment.

Perfect for family

The five of us stayed for 4 nights, checked out on 5th day. With a teenager & twin 11yo’s, this place was perfect with space spread over 3 levels. Ping pong table kept them busy, as did various games that were provided. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook three meals a day & actually was very enjoyable to cook in. Spacious kitchen, extra deep sink, instant hot/cold water, lots of dish soap, large table for all 5 of us & also spread out enough for 3 kids to do their homework. All showers have high pressure, instant hot/cold. No issues with drainage, heated floors , large/ deep tub in main room, ceiling fans & humidifiers. Lots of windows, opened while cooking allowed for perfect ventilation. Several blankets for cuddling on sofa. Sizable private patio with jacuzzi, fire pit. High end bedding, furniture. Access to washer/ dryer was important & easy to use. Sad to leave this place, it was very easy to enjoy & was roomy for us 5 ! Host was available any time we had questions & super friendly - much thanks for sharing this space

Amazing condo and location !

One of the cleanest and well stocked VRBO’s I’ve rented. Even a gourmet espresso maker that worked perfectly each morning. Hot tub was a welcome addition after a long day of boarding. Indoor parking was a bonus, esp given the snowstorm the occurred during our stay. All this plus walking distance to the hill. Def will rent again.

Perfect Dog-Friendly Family Escape

This property is cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a perfect Mammoth visit! The location is central to everything and we loved being so close to the main Mammoth bike/walking path. The beautiful kitchen is perfect for cooking and the open concept is awesome for groups to gather together. The layout of the home makes it work for both small and large groups with plenty of beds and bathrooms. We are grateful that such a beautiful place is dog friendly and we would definitely stay here again!

Loved this condo

My family enjoyed a great ski week in Mammoth at this clean, spacious condo. This is the first place I’ve rented with easy direct access underground parking. We didn’t have to worry about being snowed in during our spring trip, but the parking it’s definitely a huge plus for anyone going when it’s snowing. Very walkable to Canyon Lodge with its own owners locker to store your gear. Communication with the owner/management was excellent, check-in was easy, comfortable bedrooms and nice bathrooms, couldn’t ask for more. We can’t wait to come back!

Winter Vacation

We have been to Mammoth a number of times, but these were the best accommodations we have experienced. We loved having the entire floor plan on a single level - this was especially nice with younger kids. We loved all of the sleeping accommodations - the beds were cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It truly felt like home away from home for the time that we were there. We also appreciated the accessibility of the property manager. She was readily available to answer our questions. When we arrived, one of the toilet seats was broken, and she had someone come out within 12 hours to have it fixed. It wasn't even an urgent issue for us, but we appreciated her attention to that. We will definitely be back, and next time we may rent out another of the properties in the same building so that we can have more family members join us! Thank you!

Refined Retreat was everything we hoped for!

We loved our stay with 4 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of room for the kids to hang out in the bunkroom and have their own space. Hot tub is spacious and conveniently just outside the back door. Was very grateful for the huge, closed garage. Highly recommend.

Cozy, all needs met!

This is really more of a "home" than a rental home. The beds were so cozy, three bathrooms, and a kitchen stocked with anything you could need. We absolutely loved our stay--super convenient to Canyon lodge. We had some glitches with the wifi and the garage door at first, but the owners were very responsive. Totally pet-friendly too.

Another perfect stay

Have stayed here with my family several times and it really is the best. Can't beat the location, hot tub, sauna and the house itself. Best of all in a week with 3 feet of snow is the enormous garage with plenty of room for our oversized beast of a truck. Host was accessible and incredibly helpful. Great to stay with someone who cares so much about their home.

Great property and location

This is a very well appointed and kept property. We enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub on the deck as well as the dry sauna. The location was also great as we didn’t have to pack up the car and all head to the slopes at the same time as it is within walking distance to Canyon Lodge. We will absolutely book again for another family trip.

Great space! We were 2 families of 4 + a dog. Everyone had space and the kitchen was fully equipped to eat in both nights. Kids had fun in the hot tub and we enjoyed the puzzles, Netflix and and Comfy sofas!

Whole family loved the cabin. Close by the lifts. Just a short walk. All amenities are in the cabin and beautiful location. Quiet and comfortable. Absolutely love the place.

We love Mammoth for its idyllic weather, breath-taking beauty and unique vibe and we spend as much time at our homes in Mammoth as we can with our children and friends enjoying the year-around sports, activities, festivals.

We love having the opportunity to share our homes with you! In the summer we hike, bike, kayak and fish. We live for the winters, of course, when we take every opportunity to ski, board, sled and play hard. Both families had visited Mammoth for many years but as soon as we saw Sonenalp and its ideal location we knew these homes were perfect for us!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

For several years we searched for the perfect home away from home in Mammoth. After looking at countless properties we started to think we'd never find our dream home. But we lost our hearts to Sonenalp #3 the first time we drove up to the wide front porch and warm wooden double doors. The location is ideal to discover all that Mammoth mountain has to offer with easy access to winter slopes & summer hikes and an easy downhill stroll to town. In addition to the great location, the condo was built with the utmost attention to detail. All materials, fixtures and appliances are top of the line. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream and the open floor plan is perfect for entertaining and socializing. We've updated the furnishings with high-end furniture and luxurious linens so that it lives like a home. Lastly, because the complex only houses 4 units in the building, this condo feels more like a single family residence than a condo. We know that you will enjoy our Mammoth home just as much as we do.
