Idéalement situé au cœur de la magnifique ville de Chipping Campden dans les Cotswolds, le rez-de-chaussée de cette ancienne maison de ville en pierre constitue un pied-à-terre idéal pour explorer cette partie attrayante du pays. La ville, célèbre pour sa multitude de bâtiments classés et sa grande rue aux cartes postales, compte de nombreux restaurants et pubs primés à quelques minutes de marche de votre appartement. Sinon, pour ceux qui recherchent un rythme plus actif, le début (ou la fin) de la célèbre promenade Cotswold Way n’est qu’à quelques centaines de mètres. Very cosy and clean

Enjoyed our stay very much. Will was helpful with the parking advice and in finding some nice walks in the area. Great location for restaurants and shopping. Would stay again.

Lovely cottage! The right amount of charm with nice modern amenities. Was an easy walk for the village and was within an easy commute to other Cotswold villages. Will was a good communicator. I recommend this cottage while-heartedly!

Adorable Chipping Campden!

Such a lovely stay in this unit which is right in the middle of Chipping Campden. Very convenient to restaurants, shops and the bus stop which will take you to other locations in the Cotswolds. We had a minor problem with the cleaning not being completed at check in however the host and his assistant Jenny were so quick to get it sorted. Comfortable bed and furnishings, very modern kitchen and a great washer/dryer combo.

Great Location for Cotswolds Walks

We enjoyed the cottage and its location, though there is a lively pub practically in the backyard. This was no issue for us at all. We enjoyed being able to walk anywhere in town or as a starting point for many of the beautiful Cotswolds walks. We would stay again. Thanks Will!

Great place, as advertised. Street parking only but spaces close by were readily available. Good things: location, parking, close grocery stores, washer /dryer. Not so good: Lots of noise from street and pub next door; bathroom cramped, some glassware not clean.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Chipping Campden

We loved our stay at this lovely cottage in the Cotswolds. We knew we would only have a few days to explore, and decided to focus on one town, so we chose CC. Great choice! As was choosing this cottage for accommodations. Comfortable bed, lovely living room, great shower and a well-appointed kitchen, too. The location was absolutely perfect, everything we wanted to access was a few steps away. We are already planning a return trip to the Cotswolds and hope to stay here again.

Wonderful stay

We loved the location. Everything was at our doorstep. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. The bed was large and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We have a few suggestions. A soap holder in the shower would helpful. An umbrella would be useful. Out of country travellers usually do not being umbrellas. A small coffee table for in front of the sofa would be convenient.

Lovely apartment except 1. Very poor internet could only get full signal in entrance hall.2) hole in towel, towels needs replacing.3) No kitchen paper roll supplyed.4) Mould spots in shower with small water escaping from shower when in use.5) Small frying pan was awful and scratched and needs replacing.6) Milk shelf in fridge door is missing and is box needs defrosting.

Thank you for your feedback which is always appreciated. We have replaced the one towel with a small hole (it looked like it had been caught on something). We have also addressed the small mould spots in the corner of the shower and tightened the shower head (it just needed a twist). We will replace the frying pan also. We have reset the broadband router which is now working fine.

Perfect in every way!

I absolutely loved staying at this property! Everything about it was perfect: comfortable bed, quiet, great location, roomy, fully stocked with everything you need to cook and 2 flat screen TVs. I would recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Chipping Campden. Thank you Will!

Perfectly Cozy Cottage

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay during our visit to the Cotswolds! Cozy, warm, and close to everything with well appointed kitchen, too. A warm respite durning an unexpected snow flurry! Highly recommend.

Cozy and perfect location

The property was fantastic as was all aspects of the owner’s communication with us. Chipping Campden was an ideal location. We absolutely loved the high street with every amenity that one could need for an extended stay. Venturing out on the public foot paths to visit other nearby villages for lunch and a pint at a pub was an unexpected highlight of the location and the area.

I booked thornton for my parents to have their first break away after both suffering throughout the pandemic.They were more than happy with location,cleanliness and the overall experience of staying at the cottage.I was extremely happy with all the correspondence leading upto and after my parents stayed and especially that we received a personal message to enjoy their stay and if anything was needed to call.

Perfect Cotswold bolt hole!

This ground floor apartment has everything you need for a mini break to explore The Cotswolds. It is on a beautiful high street with shops and eating places on the doorstep but also only 100m away from the beginning (or end) of the Cotswold Way National trail. The apartment is warm and comfortable with a good bed, a great shower and it has Netflix and a log burner if the weather isn't kind! The kitchen has everything to cook up a simple meal but there are plenty of good eating places on the doorstep. Added bonus for us was that the apartment is dog friendly but it was spotlessly clean and tidy too. Thoroughly recommend.

An excellent, well-appointed cottage in the most beautiful high street in England! Perfect for touring the Cotswolds. Particularly appreciated the log fire for the two winter's nights we stayed. Thank you very much.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our home town is Chipping Campden and we absolutely love the area. Campden is unique in the fact that the high street is still untouched by the high street chains and still remains as charming today as it was in the 14th century when wool merchants frequented the town. It is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside and is by the shire counties of Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire - from Blenheim Palace and the Cotswold's to the south, to Worcester and the Malverns in the west plus Stafford-Upon-Avon and Warwick (with the best medieval castle in Europe) all within an hour's journey.

The fixtures and fittings in the property are of the highest quality and we have put a lot of time and effort into making sure that everything you need will be found in the property. The property is situated round the corner from the high street which has several fabulous restaurants, fine wine merchants and a french delicatessen.
