We usually stay in Garden City and at Dolphin Cove. Dunes Realty was nice and easy to work with as always. Unit 3A was ok. The unit was in desperate need of a deep clean. It was supposed to be clean at check in but really wasnât up to par. The floors needed vacuuming, beds were sloppily made, there was a dirty rug in one bathroom and a moldy shower curtain in the other. However, I was prepared. I brought my own cleaning supplies and scrubbed bathrooms and we used our own linens. I did not complain to Dunes because Iâm usually just extra and expect too much at times maybe but it wouldâve been nice not to have to clean as soon as I got there. However, overall the weather was perfect and we enjoyed our stay.
Worst experience ever- first of all, the elevator in the building wasnât working so we had to carry our mother up three flights of stairs in a wheelchair. Every single day, we had to call about something else that was broken. The garbage disposal didnât work, the dishwasher didnât work, the washing machine wouldnât drain and made a huge mess, Play bulbs were unscrewed in the main fixtures, the floors were disgustingly filthy and the showers had not been cleaned.
Great location but terrible building and unit⊠The dunes property management said it was Waccamaw property managementâs responsibility and they just kept pointing fingers. If the unit was truly inspected as they claimed, Iâm sure they would not have rented it. I will be sending an email to all parties with the details and pictures
