Situé sur le lac Sand Run avec une vue magnifique sur le lac et la montagne. Envie d'une étoile du soir en profitant du bain à remous. Les lève-tôt peuvent prendre le lever du soleil sur la montagne, encadrés par des fenêtres donnant sur le lac. La grande mezzanine avec salle de bain complète bénéficie de la même vue. Boisé, isolé, mais facilement accessible par tous les temps avec des possibilités infinies.

Beautiful house and location

We really enjoyed the home and location. The only thing needed was a window shade on the bathrooms. Even being in the woods this is not appropriate. This is our 4th time staying at houses in Timberline.

We love Alpen View.

We love Alpen View. The owners had decorated for Fall when we were there in October this year. We rented it again in December and they had replaced the Fall decorations with Christmas decorations, including lights and a small tree to the delight of my grandchildren. We always go with Mountain Top for our yearly stay. The staff is friendly and responds immediately to your needs.

We stay at canaan at least once a year. This unit was not the best ive been in comfort or cleanliness wise. Veiw was the only thing that was great other than that we were pretty disappointed. During covid we couldn't work with members.

We love the view at this property. We watched the eagle and lots deer. As we sat at the table. The dog fence! We have a fenced in yard at home and it creates challenges when we don’t have one on vacation. That is the main reason we choose this property. You have a great team we have used other rental companies in Canaan and have quit because mountain top is the best by far!

We overall had a very wonderful and relaxing experience. It was perfect for a short staycation and to unplug. Our dog also had a great time and was able to run around freely! Thank you for having us. Every person we had the pleasure of working with was extremely attentive. Matt especially was great to work with. He was very responsive and really helped us out when we had the unfortunate situation of the power going out. Very accommodating!

We had a mouse problem.

We had a mouse problem. Realize this is common there - but leaving some mouse traps under the sink would be helpful. Davis store almost sold out and said there had been a run on them. Had mice at least 3 nights. Caught mice even after putting all food either on top of fridge or back in large plastic containers that we brought along. Amenties were really nice - would be nice if owners book could include a note about location of life jackets for canoe/kayak - we didn't find them until too late. Otherwise lovely location. prompt responses

The property was excellent.

The property was excellent. It was clean, comfortable, all of the appliances and electronics worked well. I loved the hot tub and the view of the lake and cabin mountain. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to prepare all of our meals in the house. Being steps from the lake and hiking trails was also great. This has been my best stay in Canaan Valley and I look forward to staying at this property again. Becky was excellent during booking and check in. She responded to my questions quickly, was polite, and included detailed instructions. She also sent me important reminders for required documentation. I checked in past 5 PM and she had the house keys waiting in a box outside the office. Outstanding service!

The house was beautiful! The property was amazing the pictures don't do it justice. The fire pit is surrounded by grass now not dirt. The view is breath taking. Our dogs had an amazing time, although they couldn't go to the water due to the mud because of the rain. And it was chilly for them to get hosed off. But they loved the property and house. The dogs loved the dog door and fenced area!!!! Our boys loved the canoe and they fished every day for hours. We couldn't of had a better trip and loved the house!!!! Extremely relaxing trip! Thank you! The team was very helpful every time I emailed before our visit.
