J'ai lu que le nom de Marrakech provient de mots berbères qui signifient "Terre de Dieu". Ajouter dans le fait que la maison est située dans la magnifique vallée de Canaan dans "Almost Heaven West Virginia" et vous avez une bonne idée de ce que vous regardez ici. La belle Marrakech est au bord du lac sur le lac Sand Run de Timberline où la nature est naturellement abondante! Les propriétaires attentionnés ont pensé à tout pour faire de vos vacances une expérience spéciale en fournissant un canoë pour une utilisation sur le lac ainsi qu'un bain à remous et des fosses de fer à cheval pour encore plus de plaisir en plein air. Entrez et préparez-vous à être à l'aise. En une journée, vous pourrez profiter d'une vue incroyable tout en vous relaxant près de la cheminée. Shoot piscine et jouer au baby-foot dans la salle de jeu en bas. Il est encore temps pour un film ou pour préparer votre repas préféré dans la cuisine joliment aménagée. Marrakech où il y a tellement à faire ou à ne rien faire du tout. C'est sûr d'être les vacances préférées de tout le monde! Véhicules à quatre et quatre roues motrices requis pour l'accès hivernal.

Property was perfect for our family and our Thanksgiving. Plenty of space for people to be by themselves and great areas to come together. The stove was tricky to use and took a bit to heat up but otherwise it was a great place and would recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was probably our 5th or 6th stay at Marrakech and we’re booked for 2026. Perfect spot for family gathering. Much time spent on the large shaded deck eating meals and sharing memories. Adjacent lake and canoe enjoyed for fishing and sightseeing. Game room used regularly. Large well stocked kitchen perfect for large family. Already looking forward to next year.

Great Stay!

The house was as described, and the location is fantastic! It probably has the most equipped kitchen of any online rental I've stayed in. Layout was also perfect for our family to hang out and enjoy the views. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area for vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a gorgeous setting, great yard, and canoeing was a very easy location to get the boats in and out of the lake. 1/3 of the rental company employees was very unfriendly and somehow condescending. Perhaps me interrupting her cigarette break was a major inconvenience. The other 2 I interacted with were very kind and hopefully will help tell the homeowner about the moldy basement smell.The basement is not usable to sleep in unless you have all the windows open for a whole day and the whole time overnight. It smells of mold and is humid even with their little dehumidifier trying to work. If my children stayed here, I would not want them sleeping in the trundle bedroom because of the horrible air quality. This house would be a phenomenal option if they installed central air to get the horrible moisture problem solved in the basement! We wouldn't have used the AC for temperature, but for humidity lowering I think it's the only hope for that humid basement. If you only have guests that can share the 4 beds upstairs, it is still a good option.

Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of 2 Grandparents, myself and my husband, 3 grown Kids and 3 Grandkids and this house was Perfect for Us!! The location on the lake was easy access for the guys to fish! Even though it poured the snow on us!! It didn't stop them! LOL! And the hot tub was super nice to relax in, especially because it was so cold and snowy. Inside there was plenty to do too! We all enjoyed the pool table and fooseball table. And they're stocked with all kinds of games and puzzles. The kitchen was loaded with everything you could possibly need and there were tons of towels and extra blankets and pillows. We had the best family getaway here and we will definitely be booking this house again in the future!!! And I also want to add that the staff was super nice and knowledgeable!!!

Great House and Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook with. The great room is sunken so you have to step down which can be tricky if you are not use to that, mainly for older people. The location is wonderful the only thing I wish the owners would do is trim the branches on the pine trees so you can see the lake view better.

Anniversary reunion

We visited with our family to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It was off season in April but we found plenty to do with hiking and art exploring. Saw an eagle, skunk and plenty of deer. The accommodations were outstanding - the best outfitted kitchen at any vacation rental we've visited. The rooms were very nice and we took advantage of the hot tub and swing.

Peaceful small issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for the Easter holiday with family we had dreamed. Some items were concerning for us. The bathroom had some items left in the shower from previous renters, used bars of soap. Sheets on one of the bed had tears in them. Also for the canoe on property that was supposed to be able to use no oar was anywhere to be located. Overall experience was great for a family get away to the mountains though.
