Charmante maison à seulement 3 pâtés de maisons de la belle place historique du centre-ville de McKinney et à distance de marche de tous les magasins, restaurants, pubs, vignobles et divertissements! Super endroit pour une escapade d'un week-end ou des voyages d'affaires lorsque vous souhaitez marcher pour vous divertir!

Il est également à moins de 3 km du Cotton Mill, du Cotton Gin et des autres lieux de mariage! McKinney est situé juste au nord d'Allen, Plano, Richardson et Dallas et à l'est de Frisco, The Colony, etc.

La maison a été récemment mise à jour avec des comptoirs en granit, une nouvelle peinture, un nouveau tapis et tous les nouveaux meubles. Il comprend 2 chambres avec des matelas queen-size en mousse à mémoire de forme, 1 canapé-lit queen-size dans le salon et 1 salle de bains complète avec douche / baignoire combo. La maison dispose d'une cuisine complète avec les appareils de base et l'équipement de réservation nécessaire.

Check in was easy. The main living area and bedrooms were very clean. The bathroom needed work. It’s hard to know if what we perceived as dirt was age or dirt in the grout, the base of the tub and the baseboards. One cloth kitchen towel was inadequate. We needed at least one more. The air vents and returns need cleaning. That might be alleviated by changing the filter. That’s where I’d start. Finally, we were never able to connect to the internet. Neither the internet instructions in the welcome email or the board on the counter gave us the needed information to connect. Overall, it’s a nice place. We enjoyed our time and would book it again when the maintenance issues are resolved.

Worst experience I have ever had staying somewhere. Upon arrival-dirty towels set out, broken trashcan (so had to touch it every time to throw something away), mold in the shower & on shower faucets, broken blind were items noted. Then, went to get a shower the next morning--couldn't get one b/c shower didn't work. Host wouldn't answer my calls, host wouldn't respond to VRBO. I had to go to work without a shower. All day I attempted to reach host-who would respond with a question but refused to go look for herself. That evening as I arrived back, still no resolve with host who said they hoped to have someone there the following day. After explaining how I needed a shower, she agreed to refund my stay if I left (I have it in writing.) The following day she finally got a repairman out who told her it was broken and would hope to have it repaired in the next couple of days. She reached out and asked if I wanted to cancel--which I had already left after 24 hrs of no shower and had to pay for a hotel. Again she agreed to cancel & refund my stay due to the inconvenience--which btw she still will not return my or VRBO's calls. Still has not refunded my stay. VRBO says it is a simple acknowledgement from her, but she won't. The host showing is NOT the actual owner of the property. I am now going to have to sue in order to get my money back, let alone my time and anguish from it all.

You can see all the mold around the tub drain.

This was how the towel was laying on the guest bed. I didn't touch it.

The kitchen is nice

The location is good, the interior left more to be desired. Directions and check in is easy, the downsides were some cleanliness issues, the bathroom had not been cleaned well still hair from previous guests and mold in the vent. The WiFi did not work and I received two different logins and passwords. I had to find the router and plug it in but still did not work. A large wasp nest was located at the front door/porch that needed to be taken care of. Very little attention to detail with cleanliness it seems in certain areas but the AC works well and the parking and location are great.

Mediocre experience

Pretty place but it wasn’t very clean. There were dead bugs on the floor indicating it hadn’t been swept in a while. Beautiful neighborhood. There were hardly any towels to use. The toilet paper was stashed in a bedroom closet we didn’t find untilafter we went to go buy some. Overall, it was ok.

Perfect Pre-Wedding Stay at Blue Bungalow!

My daughter and I spent the night before her wedding at Blue Bungalow, and it was the perfect choice. The location is ideally situated close to the wedding venue, making it an excellent spot to relax before the big day. The house itself was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home. The quiet neighborhood added to the peaceful atmosphere, ensuring we had a restful evening before the excitement of the next day. I highly recommend Blue Bungalow for anyone looking for a serene and convenient place to stay.

Bungalow needs your attention!

The house does have some interior updates, butOwner needs to walk through and put some attention to cleaning and repair detail. Needs a new sofa , appliances, cabinets in kitchen and bath. Dirty kitchen light fixture with dead bugs, air vents black and dirty. Linens are 3 star. We left a day early. Could be a 5 star if you want to clean and update.

Cute place

I will give this place five stars because the hosts were very commutative and gracious, also the place was adorable and in a great location. I will say however, the ad does not state that it’s an attached duplex home, (we found out after we booked) the adjoining neighbors are thumpy (kids I’m assuming) and they leave their porch light on all night long, which lights up the one room like broad daylight. I would suggest black out curtains, as I had to use a sleep mask to be able to get any rest.

Imagine washing your own towels during your stay

The location of the place is okay. It is a duplex so you are connected to a neighbor. The adjacent neighbor has a squeaky gate that they open and close often in the morning, so sleeping in wasn’t really an option. Not really anyone’s fault just annoying. Also the place looked clean and vacuumed, but they forgot to wash the towels, so we had to wash them in order to have enough wash cloths.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Located in the heart of downtown McKinney. Surrounded by beautiful historic homes full of character and charm. If possible I highly reccomend taking a walk through the streets to admire the homes and enjoy the downtown shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, winery's, pubs, and farmer's market. This is truly one of the most unique areas in the Dallas Metroplex.
