This was the perfect condo centrally located. Beautiful views of the beach and short walk to Johnâs Pass. Large enough to accommodate a family of 5 (including two teenagers!) and all amenities. Condo was recently renovated and very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Condo was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Sleeping arrangements were great, kitchen, living room, and screened-in balcony had just the amount of space needed for our group. The condo was equipped with adequate kitchen and bathroom supplies. The pool with a bathroom and beach access was incredible! We would definitely stay at the Madeira Beach Villa again!
The property is nice with current updates. It has been surface cleaned, but is due for a deeper cleaning. I needed to wash out refrigerator shelves before adding my groceries. Some dust and debris behind dressers and beds. I was most upset because I was not made aware that the pool was nonfunctional until I checked in, and it was not on the listing when I made my reservation in January. Previous years we have spent 90% of our time down at the pool. I did not reserve a property to have to find other things to keep a 4 & 5 year old occupied for 7 days.
Madeira was a great mix of beach fun, poolside splashing, and attractions/restaurants for days when the weather is less than stellar or when you're nursing a sunburn.
Right across from Villa Madeira was a delicious coffee shop that we enjoyed and used to stage breakfast on the road when we left. The pool and beach were great - locked gates ensured the property felt secure and had a private feeling to it.
Unit itself had a fully screened in deck, great with the littles. Plenty of amenities and for sure somewhere we would want to stay again.
Wondeful condo on the 6th floor.
One elevator, which would be challenging in a high demand season. Elevator broke down too on check out day and we could not get any return calls.
Location is wonderful being .8 to johns pass. Kids were easily able to walk that several times for shops or food. Lots of great places.
Easily able to drive to st pete or clearwater.
Desolate beach the time of the year we went. Fantastic stay.
TRS management company was easy to work with. The property was in a quiet, easy to access part of the Sand Key. We loved the private beach and easy accessibility to Clearwater and surrounding State Parks. A week was the right amount of time. The facilities were clean with impeccable upgrades. One thing I was disappointed y was the screened in porch. But, this property was an A+++++
This was our first trip to Madeira Beach. This property was as described. It was recently renovated. Although we didnât use a lot of it, the kitchen was well stocked. The view was fantastic. We enjoyed that the beach was private, and, therefore not crowded. The building was quiet. There are plenty of good restaurants, including a great cafe and a beach bar, within walking distance or a short drive. It is close to Johnâs Pass. The check-in/check-out process was easy. I would highly recommend this property!
This is the second time I have stayed at this unit in Villa Madeira and I will continue to do so in the future. The services of TRS in getting entry to the unit, and any issues I may have during the stay are wonderful.
The unit is true to the description, all the appliances work, everything is laid out and clean, and if there was on issue, I would say that they room with beach supplies and chairs could be kept up better / more organized, but that has to do more with others that stay at the property than it does with the owner or TRS.
It's a great place that's been updated and has modern looks and it's a great price when considering you're on the beach, have your own parking spot and for a week, you'll definitely be paying less than a hotel if there are you four of people staying at the property.
Nice Clean Condo with property management problems
Overall the stay was good. I would never let these things keep me from enjoying my vacation but when we got there and checked in the property management group forgot to give us the door code, no big deal we called and got it. After we got in we realized that the metal storm doors were down over the sides of our corner unit patio.. we get a corner unit for the view and there was no view to the side with the storm doors down. We later called property management about this to which they sent two men who did not even touch the door all they said was âoh yeah we already knew about this we canât fix itâ. This is absolutely something that should have been communicated to us prior to our arrival. We pay extra money for a corner unit every year for the corner unit!! So we ended up calling a company out to get the metal storm door up and temporarily fixed so we could enjoy our view but paying out of our own pocket for that should have never happened. The views are somewhat blocked by the screens that are over all of the patios at the property. On the first day we met the âproperty managerâ at the pool who seemed to watch us and have a problem with everything we were doing. He made us extremely uncomfortable for no reason other than wanting power. And to top it all off a few days in the elevator completely and we had to walk 6 flights of stairs to get to and from the condo for 2 days.
We made the best of the trip and tried to let the issues slide past without bothering us. Overall the condo itself was great. It was clean, has huge showers, recently renovated and a very nice kitchen. The beds were comfy and clean.
You had to go one place to check in, another place to stay, and a third place to check out.
Dirty dishes in dishwasher when we checked in and no dish detergent to wash them. It was the next day before they brought us detergent so we could clean someone elseâs dirty dishes.
The property is on the top floor of Villa Madiera in a corner unit. Thereâs plenty of screened in porch for everyone. Ample appliances including Keurig coffee maker if thatâs your thing.
Everything was clean and there was good communication with the property management company.
The AC worked great, instructions for the property were good, and Iâll be booking there again.
The beach goes miles to the north and itâs a short walk to Johnâs Pass for food, drinks, excursions, and souvenirs.
The unit was just as it looks in the photos. Location was great. Just a short drive south to John's Pass. Local Publix was just a short drive to get any supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Madeira. There were a lot of beach items in the storage area, but the beach chairs were broken so we couldn't use them. Also, had counted on having beach towels provided , but we didn't find any. Only 2 coffee cups for a family of coffee drinkers. On the positive side, the kitchen was well supplied with everything else that we needed. We loved the unit we stayed in. The view from the balcony was lovely. We plan on coming back next year!!!!
Beautiful space!
Small things that werenât so great. Floors needed mopped. Our feet were black after being in there for a little bit. (Shoes were taken off at the door) Needs new tv remote in living room. Sliding door needed some maintenance. Headboards on both beds were not attached.
Great location, well equipped unit and well managed. The floor was dirty when we arrived but the management team reacted right away and had someone onsite within hours to vacuum and mop.
