One of our reviews My family of 9 stayed at 25 Pines property for a total of 7 nights during the COVID19 pandemic. The property manager, Paula, was communicative and quickly responsive regarding what was expected of us to abide by Maineâs current travel restrictions. The home itself was very clean upon arrival and check-in was seamless and convenient. Location was perfect - nestled in a quiet and shaded neighborhood, we felt very relaxed and took advantage of the opportunity to play cards on the covered deck and steam a lobster dinner to enjoy on the picnic table. It is a short drive (less than 10-15 minutes) to the sights of Bar Harbor, entrance to Acadia National Park, and grocery store. I also extend thanks to the property owner, Mr. Douglas, for stopping by to ask if he could take any trash out for us. He was kind enough to tell us of a good place to swim at Echo Lake. I donât think we could have picked a better place to enjoy our first vacation to Maine. We had a great experience from start to finish and would recommend 25 Pines to anyone considering renting this property.
Registration number for the town of Bar Harbor short term rental 2288. Please note that rentals are Saturday to Saturday only.
Cozy, clean home with lots of room for everyone. Hosts were super helpful and responsive to all of our needs. Short drive into Bar Harbor with shuttle service a couple of blocks away. Plenty of outdoor space to relax. Thank you!
This cabin was great for our family trip; we had 9 adults and 1 infant with more than enough room. Our host were great and communication as easy & fast response. I donât think you can find a better place for the money in Bar Harbor. I am giving a brief cabin layout description because if you are like me you like to have the bedrooms assigned before you arrive. Even as adultsâ children still complain about the room they get. Ugg! Cabin is set up like a raised ranch with a loft, when entering through side door you can go down or up a œ flight stairs (like a Bi-Level). The lower level has 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with double beds and 1 room with 2 twins) and a full bathroom, it also has small sitting area with couch and TV. The main floor which can also be entered from the covered porch has 2 bedrooms (1 with Double bed and 1 with a queen bed) full bathroom w/ washer & dryer, kitchen w/counter seating for meals, and main living room. The loft or 3rd level has a large bedroom with a queen bed. The porch and fire pit area provide even more places to spread out, so we never felt cramped in the cabin. The tetherball made for some exciting and dramatic times. The location is great close to Acadia National Park and the town of Bar Harbor, but away from the crowds. Walk to the end of the street and watch the sun rise and see seals if lucky (as we were). I would stay here again and highly recommend it for your Bar Harbor vacation. During your stay get a homemade pie from Mount Desserts right
Spacious, nicely maintained, great location. Excellent supply of toilet paper and laundry detergent. Could have used condiments, but we brought our own anyway. Might be good to advise guests that the water has a strong taste.
We spent 4th of July week at this beautiful property and couldnât have been happier. The location is unbeatableâless than 10 minutes to Acadia National Park, which made it super convenient for early hikes and sunset views without the long drive. The house itself was spotless and exactly as advertised, with plenty of space for our group of family and friends to relax and enjoy. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfy, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. Our hosts were fantasticâfriendly, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. You can really tell they care about their guests' experience. The fire pit in the backyard made for perfect cozy evenings under the stars, and the tetherball court was a fun and unexpected bonus that brought out everyoneâs competitive spirit. We also loved the peaceful settingâclose to town but tucked away enough for privacy and quiet. There were little touches everywhere that made the stay extra special, for example the local guidebooks. This place truly made our holiday week unforgettable. Weâre already talking about coming back.
We had such a lovely time at this cabin. There was more than enough space for everyone to be on their own and to gather together for meals and games. I think we used just about every amenity here - even had a momentous tether ball game or two! We were only a short walk to the ocean for some excellent sunsets after dinner. The hosts were wonderful and friendly and it was nice to have them so close "just in case." I strongly recommend this rental when you are heading to Bar Harbor. We drove a few short minutes to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor every single day!
This place was absolutely perfect. The cabin is tucked away off the main road so you have privacy but a short drive to Bar Harbor and many Acadia sites. The bedrooms are big with cozy beds. Two full bathrooms was great for our 9 person group of adults and kids. The kids favorite was the loft space with two sun chairs and a view. The kitchen was large and the counter provided enough room for all to eat. We had more than enough space for games and relaxing without being on top of each other. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Acadia or Bar Harbor who wants to be near it all without being in the crowd.
We booked this cabin for our annual Girls Trip. It was amazing! Dueing the summer a free shuttle runs, so we could go all iver the island and not need a car. We were so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
The place is amazing! Huge. It sleeps 14. And there are movies and games and actual vinyl records. Susan and Doug are nearby in case anything urgent is required, and they are so incredibly nice.
We felt safe and cared for,. Everything was awesome. They had a space for everything: cooking seafood, firepit, basketball hoop, tetherball, washer/dryer, towels, multiple bathrooms, full kitchen. It was awesome! Would totally rebook in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful stay! Clean, comfortable, and lovely. Our family loved being able to walk to the beach! Hosts were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations.
Our family of 4 adults and 4 children had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin home close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The home has plenty of space for everyone and a kitchen with more than enough plates, utensils, and cookware. The hosts even had a pack and play for our infant to sleep in comfortably. Firewood was already placed in the firepit when we arrived so we could enjoy an evening around the campfire. The location was perfect and we would definitely return for another stay the next time we are in the Bar Harbor area.
