Location was great. Actually property was nothing as described. The unit is filthy. The floor is coming up in spots and sinking in others. My daughter tripped on an uneven piece of flooring in the living room and sprained her ankle. There was an issue with the refrigerator when we arrived, Bart answered my call right away and that was taken care of. I didnât like the that maintenance came unannounced when we werenât there leaving a stranger access to our valuables. ( if we were in a hotel weâd lock valuables in the safe when leaving). The sink in the master bath is pulling from the wall, the floor is sinking in the hall bathroom. There is lots of mold throughout. The bathroom and kitchen outlets have no ground faults, very unsafe to plug things in. The short term rental certificate has expired. I donât fault someone for trying to make money, but donât do it at the health and safety of others.
We have stayed in several different units within this resort, and have always enjoyed it. This unit was ok, but has a lot of wear and tear that needs to be addressed. Floors left our feet black, and owner was very responsive to that, having the cleaners back to address. But the couch seems broken (sunken), light fixtures that appear to have been broken have been replaced with inappropriate covers. Dishwasher leaked. Vanities in bathrooms are not secured. Several things like that.
The location is excellent with access to beach and pool. The condo was advertised as recently remodeled however a poor job was done, Floors were spongy, vents dirty. The furniture does not fit. The sheet on the master bed bottom mattress did not fit and snapped off during the middle of the night. The bunk beds are very rickety - an accident waiting to happen.
No surprises. The place has a bit of a 'cottage' feel to it. Access to ocean is a short walk. Reasonably well equipped for eating in. Lots options for eating out close by.
We lucked out on this cute property in a hurry to find somewhere to finish our vacation after having to leave Florida due to hurricane Milton. This condo is full of charm and steps to the beach.
We had a great time here. The walls are a nice, cheery yellow and the beds were very comfortable. The a/c unit worked exceptionally well! The location can't be beat- both on the island (close to the biking/walking path) and in regards to the beach. Being on the first floor was great, and I was surprised at the low level of foot traffic around the unit. We were able to enjoy peace and quiet on the patio/balcony in the mornings and evening, and having a view of the pool was great; being able to tell if it was crowded or not without leaving the unit was super helpful! It's also near the bike rack, if you're planning to ride around.
The property was exactly as described and we had a great stay. There were additional amenities not mentioned in the description, such as beach toys and equipment and a few toiletries. One of the sliding patio doors was missing the security bar and the host quickly responded to my message and had someone come install a bar. As a single woman traveling with 2 small children I felt very safe with the visible and friendly security on site. The whole resort has an overall family friendly vibe. Loved the condo, loved the resort amenities, loved thd responsiveness of the owner. I would definitely book again.
Quick responses from owner throughout the week. Closer walk to the beach than we were expecting. Fresh paint throughout. Updates in the bathrooms were nice. Clean where it counted (kitchen and bath). Floors left our feet black. Kitchen came stocked with cleaning supplies, but not enough plates or bowls. Not many cooking bowls or good sized pots. AC did not work well. Overall resort was nice.
We were very happy with the bedroom beds, but the pull out couch was worse than normal. It was nearly broken and we purchased two mattress pads just to make it bearable. The use of the second bedroom with the bunk bed and trundle was the most fabulous use of space Iâve seen in Admirals Row and I wish every unit would do that. There are no ceiling fans. The window coverings in the bedrooms do not block out the hallway lights so bring sleep masks.
The bathrooms have been renovated and were nice with enough linens for the week.
We love staying on the first floor because you donât have to waste time waiting for the elevator.
The kitchen supplies left a lot to be desired. We cook a lot on vacation and couldâve used more serving bowls, pots, and utensils for cooking. But he did have most of the basics and not everyone would cook as much as we do.
We had hvac issues during the week but Bart was quick to respond about them and got it fixed right away.
Great location walking distance from the beach, great cozy unit and nice balcony to relax. Great fun activities close to the resort as well for families.
Only my second time to Hilton Head and had not been there in about 35 years! Enjoyed our stay with easy access to the beach and enjoyed being right by one of the pools so that we could go down and wait on the kids to join us when they were ready. Owner was very nice and responsive when needed.
