Nous sommes une famille active et aimante et nous avons tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour rendre votre séjour avec vos amis et votre famille complet et agréable. Notre maison est située dans un parc d'un demi-hectare. Profitez de la vue depuis le hamac, les ponts supérieur et inférieur et le court de sport. Notre maison a une vue magnifique de haut en bas et en haut. A l'étage, 2 chambres avec lits king et queen, salle de séjour avec foyer au gaz et cuisine avec un curseur vers le pont principal avec barbecue. Il y a un patio avant avec une petite cascade pour profiter de l'ombre estivale. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend 3 chambres, un salon avec foyer au gaz, une télévision avec son surround et un lecteur DVD, la Wii et le câble, ainsi que le lave-linge. Nous avons des matelas pour 11 personnes ou plus (y compris le matelas à air queen), mais nous sommes ouverts à un plus grand nombre de clients s’ils souhaitent dormir sur un matelas pneumatique Queen (fourni), un canapé de 10 pieds ou un matelas à air double (également fourni). Notre maison est climatisée. L'entrée de l'US Open 2015, située sur le parcours de golf de Chambers Bay, se trouve à 1,5 km. En outre, un centre commercial avec Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Safeway et de nombreuses possibilités de restauration (mexicaine, chinoise, thaïlandaise, pizza, McDonalds et plus. Le centre-ville de Tacoma est à seulement 15 minutes et propose plusieurs musées, une vie nocturne, des restaurants haut de gamme, un zoo et bien plus encore. Notre région offre également de nombreuses expériences uniques comme l'observation des baleines, les traversées en ferry, la randonnée dans deux chaînes de montagnes différentes avec des tonnes d'animaux sauvages et de chutes d'eau, des événements sportifs et des achats au marché de Pikes Place. Perfect fit, gorgeous view

This property fit our family perfectly! We loved the sport court, and the view off the deck was amazing (sunsets every evening). The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Stephanie is a great communicator and all went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property

This home is spacious and was well laid out for our family’s needs. The view of the sound is stunning, with a new and well appointed deck for enjoying it. The yard is large and had a swing set, slide and basketball/pickle ball court available. Our family had a great time meeting up there for a reunion. The owner is responsive and warm, with good communications.

A Really Great House

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Owners are great and communication excellent. It was bigger than it looked in the pictures so even though we were a large group we fit with no problem. It was great to stay in a house that people live in as that meant the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and spices etc.... And it was decorated for Christmas! Great neighborhood close to stores. Would highly recommend this home and would stay there again.

Golfing/Family Time

East meets west. Great location to enjoy time with family. GA family meeting with Vancouver BC family. We were impressed with the views and all the space to spread out. The golf course/tournament was 5 minutes away. Grocery shopping and restaurants were really close. Hostess was extremely communicative and shared multiple restaurants to try. We felt like we were at home. Seattle airport was around an hour away.

Very nice, but it had one problem for us.

Nice house and view. Plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen had lots of dishes, pans, etc. Balcony with gas grill was a nice place to have meals. The 3 bedrooms with the beds were fine. The problem was the very steep driveway and the two steep flights of stairs from the street to the front door. All but two of us are in the 80's age and one uses a walker, so we had difficulties. Please add information to the description of your house using pictures and words to describe the driveway and the front steps. It would be good to also mention the steep back yard. Luckily, we didn't need to use it.

We were so glad you could use the home for your get together. We will update the photo of the front stairs leading down to the home so renters have an idea of the entry. Family wedding

We were in Tacoma for my sons wedding. We stayed here for 6 days before the wedding weekend. The house was plenty big to hold all of us 3 kids 5 adults and two nights an extra adult. The kids LOVED the sports court , they played tennis a few times a day every day and the littlest rode the little riding bikes. On the only rainy day we had the projector screen tv and Xbox games were a hit. The VIEW from the living room and kitchen and bedroom and the large big deck were amazing. Lots of outdoor furniture to sit on and enjoy the view and have a meal on the large outdoor table. Stephanie was always available for questions and any little problems that would pop up. She is a very pleasant friendly nice host. The neighborhood was wonderful, quiet and very walkable. We would definitely recommend this house and host and would stay here again if we came to Tacoma. Thanks Stephanie.

Devine Family Time

Family from across the country came together and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. We filled the place up and there were blankets and towels to spare. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor spaces are unbelievably beautiful. Kiddos scootered, played basketball, and generally had a blast. The hosts were readily available and so kind. We highly HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home.

Fabulous view

Communication with owner was excellent, always responded promptly to any questions we had. Property was spacious in and out. Views of water and sunset were fabulous. House has everything you need, well equipped kitchen great front area and back deck for gathering and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. Loved it!

Xmas 2021

Family was able to safely gather in a spacious, warm, and well stocked home. Our stay coincided with significant snowfall and cold snap. The backyard served as a wonderful play area for kids, there were plenty of toys and books as well. Having grocery stores and playgrounds nearby was great. Communication with owner was clear and helpful. Would definitely recommend (or consider staying there again ourselves).

We spent time in the area on a golf trip and had THE most incredible time at this home. Hosts were hospitable and we couldn’t have had a better time. The sport court and basketball hoop was well kept and an absolute blast!

Awesome view and great for families

Met up with two other families with small kids. The house was perfectly equipped for our crew. The backyard with sport court is so fun. The house has a common area on each floor so our kids chaos didn't overflow everywhere. And the views from the entire house are gorgeous. Host Stephanie was attentive and responsive. Great experience!

Beautiful location & wonderful home to stay at.

This is a location that is beautiful for the views overlooking the water & for stunning sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed the pickleball court and appreciated that paddles & balls were available (although, if you are a regular player, bring your own). Delightful having so many places to gather and visit. Photos represent each of the rooms accurately. Very generous for the owners to have a fully stocked kitchen, including spices, and lots of pots, pans & serving bowls. We rented this VRBO for a family wedding being held nearby and definitely will consider renting again in the future.

Awesome house, killer views, outstanding value.

Friends and I had a fantastic time staying at this property. The terraced yard and sport court were perfect for all the lawn games we brought with us. Mind-blowing views of the Puget Sound. A great time was had by all!

Perfect Location for a Chambers Bay Wedding

Place With a View

A highlight of a stay at this location is the view of Puget Sound, both from inside the house and from the deck & patio. The sport court is also a real plus for a group with children. Location is very good and the owner was very prompt and receptive to any communication.

It is so rare to find property like Stephanie's home in University Place!

The house is amazing, and the host is wonderful! My family enjoyed it very much. The property is everything it says it is plus more. Great neighborhood too with a million dollar view! I highly recommend it!

We are a busy, active family of seven, and this is our primary home during the school year. In the summer months, when we travel, we enjoy opening our home to guests and sharing a space that has been thoughtfully cared for and truly lived in. Because this is our family home, it is not a typical vacation rental, it is comfortable, well-equipped, and designed for gathering and relaxation.

Guests are welcome to use many of the everyday items throughout the house, from the fully stocked kitchen to the inviting indoor and outdoor living spaces we enjoy ourselves.

The home offers multiple living areas and plenty of room to spread out while still spending quality time together. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the setting is peaceful and private, and we kindly ask guests to be respectful of our home and our neighbors. We hope guests feel at ease here and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere as much as we do.

We chose this neighborhood for the combination of space, convenience, and community. The large yard gave our kids room to play and gather, while the quiet residential setting made it ideal for raising a family. At the same time, we’re close to the local high school, Trader Joe’s, a neighborhood bakery, Chambers Bay, and downtown Tacoma, which makes everyday life easy and connected. Our home naturally became a place for hosting friends, youth group, and enjoying games on the sports court, and we continue to love the balance of peaceful living with nearby amenities.
