This stunning 3,000 sq ft property boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the Puget Sound, Fox Island and Olympic Mountains from numerous rooms, making it the perfect venue for gatherings of all kinds. This remarkable property truly offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and convenience. Enjoy a serene afternoon reading a book while watching the spectacular sunset over the shimmering water, or simply relax on the spacious deck and soak up the stunning surroundings. Plenty of seating in the living room, the dining room and on the deck for a gathering of 10 plus the family room for hanging out to play games or watch something different than upstairs. There is a locked utility room on the lower level. Communication will be via messaging and telephone. Contactless check-in and check-out. Residential neighborhood 1 block from the Chamber Bay Golf Course and the Chamber Creek Regional Park where you can walk along the 2 mile trail or beach, hike along a creek, or go to the playground. You can walk or drive there. Drive 2-3 miles to the grocery store - Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Safeway and a little farther is a local grocery store called Harbor Greens. There is plenty of parking. 2 car garage, driveway 1 fits 3 cars, driveway 2 fits 4 cars or a boat on a trailer or an RV. The home is centrally located between Seattle (1 hr), Portland (2.25 hrs), Mt Rainier National Park (1.5 hrs), Olympic National Park (1.75 hrs), Mt St Helens (2.25 hrs). 4 grocery stores on the same street starting just 2 miles away are Trader Joe's and Safeway in the same shopping center, .5 mile up is Whole Foods and another .5 mile up is a great local grocery store, Harbor Greens, featuring local products. Also 4 coffee shops just 2-2.5 miles away - Classic Coffee (locally roasted), Cutters Point Coffee Co. (thoughtly sourced, small batch roasted), Anthem Coffee & Tea (hip coffee shop), and Starbucks, Also ideally located just one block away from Chambers Creek Regional Park, where you can stroll along the two miles of public shoreline or embark on a two-mile hike through the picturesque urban creek and canyon. And for golf enthusiasts and foodies, the renowned Chambers Bay Golf Course is also just a stone's throw away. Also in the Tacoma area is the Museum of Glass, LeMay Automotive Museum, and the Tacoma Dome. Amazing property!

We only had the four of us staying at this huge house. The house has everything that we needed and amazing views! The owner has made it inviting and comfortable with impeccable communication. We will stay there again in the future.

Attention to Detail and Perfect for Large Group!

Lovely large view home where the host has thought of everything you may possibly need. Top notch cleanliness and expertly stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Excellent and timely communication from the host Emmy during our stay. Our ladies group has stayed at a number of rental homes and we all felt that this was the best one yet!

Exccellent Place

This house is one of the best we have rented. It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, plenty of rooms and bathrooms and the view was excellent. We were happy with the location as it was very quiet and easy to get around the Tacoma area. Emmy was very responsive as we only ran into one issue with the hot water heater not functioning correctly. She was able to fix that issue remotely although we did have it happen again the next day. I would definitely recommend staying at this home as we enjoyed our time here.

Perfect

We had a gathering for a Memorial. The property is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We did a lot of food prep for the event and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Our entire party was impressed with the property. I highly recommend it.

My favourite VRBO stay of all time

10/10 accuracy in the pics and reviews. Add to that the property manager/owner was absolutely incredible in communication and customer service. I hope to stay here once again. There is nothing I would change or request for our visit. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Very nice house, gorgeous view!

We are a group of six adults. The house was perfect. Well stocked with anything you need. The house was perfectly clean and newly remodeled. The kitchen and bathrooms were really nice. We spent most of our time in the living room enjoying the expansive amazing view. We would rent this house again.

Absolutely amazing stay! Emmy, the owner, was exceptional with her communication from start to finish, making our trip smooth and stress-free. The views from the property were breathtaking, and the cleanliness was top-notch, making us feel right at home. If you're visiting the Seattle/Tacoma area, this is the place to book. Fabulous vacation house

We enjoyed our stay at this house and would happily stay there again. We loved the view of the water, and then it got even better when the weather cleared so that we could see the mountains. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with calming decor throughout. There is off-street parking for multiple vehicles, and even access to the garage (so nice when it was raining). Plenty of restaurants just a short drive away. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay.

My women's group loved our cold, sunny weekend overlooking the Olympics, drinking tea and cooking together, and walking with views of the Sound and the mountains. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. We'll return!

Family Get Together

We had the best time in Tacoma for our yearly family get together. The house is welcoming and comfortable. We loved that pretty much everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, the playroom downstairs was a huge hit with the little one. Lots of thought has gone into making sure everything has been provided to make your stay comfortable, down to the coffee corner, well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, indoor and outdoor games, umbrellas. There was plenty of room for gathering as well, comfortable couches and outdoor table. The decor is relaxing and makes you feel right at home. Emmy, is an amazing host, great at communicating, responsive, and always making sure you will have the best of stays. This is by far the best house we ever rented.

Amazing Vacation

Incredible views. This home helped make our vacation so amazing. To wake up and being able to have a cup of tea and look over the water was so relaxing. Eight of us stayed at the home, ages 12-84. There was plenty of space for us to spread out if we wanted to. Four bathrooms! Everything was so clean. Emmy responded immediately to any of my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

WONDERFUL

It's so rare that you can say that a property is better than advertised, but this one definitely qualifies. Pictures can't possibly do it justice. Absolutely clean, beautifully stocked, perfect for our family group of four adults and four children. The game room and deck are to die for. Emmy is so attentive and welcoming! THANK YOU!

Amazing Stay, Awesome Owner!

My family group of 7 had a family get together in University Place and we happened upon Emmy's delightful and well appointed home. The pictures don't do the home justice as there was a wow factor walking through the front door and taking in the sight of the open waterway and Fox Island across the way. Emmy made our visit very comfortable and efficient. The home itself has an understated elegance and is well stocked and is in a quiet neighborhood close by to incredible parks and the Chambers Bay Golf Course. As my family lives close by to Emmy's, we'll most certainly return!

Wonderful!

Perfect house and a perfect location. Our family vacation for a wedding was nearby and this house was a good size and nicely spread out. Pictures don’t do the view any justice. Of course that’s a big part of this home is the view the water, chilling on the patio was next level. Serval deer would walk through the bushes in the backyard and lay around. If you have young kids (ours are 3 & 4) there was a perfect park chambers bay right around the corner within walking distance was super nice and walking trail. Nice amenities, kitchen was left well stocked and full-size laundry room nice for longer length stays. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was there that we needed and Emmy, the host, was very attentive and responsive even when we had troubles accessing the front door code she was on top of it right away. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the Tacoma area!

Stunningly gorgeous!!!!

This was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. We are here to visit our son for eight days. Having a beautiful home to stay and made it all much more wonderful. The views are breathtaking and the home had everything you could possibly need. In all our years of traveling, this was probably one of the most beautiful, well-maintained homes we’ve ever stayed in. Check in and check out was so easy. And the home’s owner could not be more kind and welcoming! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit our son in the future. Amazing!

Wonderful family vacation

Emmy’s house is the perfect place for a big group. It is sparkling clean, has everything you need to make you feel at home. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, dinnerware, and plenty of small appliances you may need. The beds are very confortable and with plenty of linen. What makes it even more special, is the wonderful ocean view you can enjoy. The location is perfect to visit Seattle, the surroundings and close to the supermarket. You can also spend time in the play room where you can find board games and a foosball table. Emmy responds immediately at any time and also give you advice about the interesting places you can visit. My family and me had a perfect vacation.

UPS Graduation weekend

We could not rave about Emmy’s place with any less enthusiasm! A superb location with the most outstanding view of Fox Island and Gig Harbor. An immaculate and well appointed home for small group entertaining and relaxation. We had a home to truly relax between weekend events and ceremonies. We were amazed with the kitchen amenities. Beds were so comfortable. A beautiful walk or run just steps away near Chambers Bay Golf Course. There were a sweet doe and fawn hanging out peacefully in the lawn. Magical. Emmy was welcoming and so responsive! Don’t pass by this opportunity to experience a beautiful Washington home!

Family, Fun and Laughter

If you looking for a place to laugh, if you looking for a place to have fun and be as comfortable as possible in lap life of luxury you have found the place. We had a mother and daughter get together for a Birthday and this house was Perfect, more than enough room unbelievable water views and comfort,comfort and more comfort, from the beds to the chairs. This property is located in good proximity to all the stores you will need and two excellent coffee shops. This property appear to have been newly remodeled and they did not forget anything, kitchen was so nice to cook in we had the best breakfasts, everything you need was there down to umbrellas at the door. This property allowed us to have all the together time we needed but also two separate inside area for some alone time and places to sit outside. I can not say enough about this place if we come back to this area this will be out 1st choice. Thank you to the hostess for all her help, you can not go wrong with this one, I guarantee

We are transplants from the suburbs of L.A. moving to Detroit and then Seattle. We enjoy all the beauty of Western Washington, the hikes, the ability to go places and pass by just one or two people. We love animals and have fostered for a local dog rescue as well as volunteered at the local animal shelter.

This home is close to my family. The main living areas and bedrooms are all on one level so it's accessible for my mom. I thought it would be a great place to stay when I visited them. Plus it's great for large gathering with family and/or friends. There is so much to do around the area, all the major stores nearby plus a variety of places to eat!
