We have stayed in this perfectly located apartment for 1 week.
The area is very charming, not too touristic and it kept its authenticity. Close to the Forum Romanum, The Jewish district, center of Trastevere and lotâs of nice restaurants.
The apartment itself was clean and bright: a pleasure to come back in the evening after long visits. We felt immediately at home!
The bath rooms need some refreshment and the bed above in the living room is for a more adventurous sleeper who can stand the light in the mornings.
Alberto is the constant host. Great communication before our stay helping us to arrange a driver. Lots of great suggestions. This location is in the best spot⊠In spite of it being in Trastevere, it was quiet and spacious.Highly recommended.
Alberto was so helpful for us when we needed him unexpectedly. He arranged for an airport transfer with a private company when the public transportation strike was announced. We had a lovely place to call home and a stress free departure. Trastevere is full of great restaurants and a short walk across the river to ancient Rome sights.
The property was absolutely beautiful- with fantastic light and incredible sunset views. The neighborhood was bustling and charming. We would happily book (and probably will) this apartment again.Thank you, Alberto, for a wonderful stay.
If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Trastevere, look no further. This apartment is in an excellent location, and is filled with Italian charm and beautiful views. You can walk to most main attractions in about 30 minutes. The space in the apartment was perfect for a family of 4, not to mention the ability to do laundry and relax in an air conditioned appartment! Our family really really enjoyed seeing how Trastevere came alive at night, with all the places to eat. There are many excellent spots to eat and grocery shop within a 10 minute walk. We made a few meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed.Alberto was an excellent host, and always reachable to answer any questions, or make recommendations on where to eat or shop.I have nothing but positives to say about our stay at Albertoâs place in Trastevere.
My family of four stayed here for five nights in July. It was important to us to have air conditioning, a great kitchen to cook in, an outdoor space to enjoy in the evenings, a washing machine, plenty of space for each person to relax, and within walking distance to all of the sites. This apartment had all of that plus more! Alberto was very responsive and a wonderful host. The apartment is so bright and colorfulâŠwith beautiful and fun artwork! We had some of our best meals in the neighborhood. We could easily walk right over the bridge and all the major sites were right there. It was the perfect place for my family to stay and we have many great memories from this trip!
Things started off very rocky. The place wasnât cleaned, no hot water, backed up sinks and drains. However, after communicating with the owner he made everything right. He was very attentive.
Alberto was a great host. Quick replies to any queries. Spacious apartment for family in a great location. However listed as 3 bathrooms which is not entirely correct. The second double bedroom has a very small 1m X 1m wetroom with toilet, shower with very slow drainage and tiny basin. There is no door to the wetroom.Overall, a great place to stay in Rome..
This apartment is an ideal retreat for a couple looking to relax and enjoy the charm of Trastevere and the broader wonders of Rome. Itâs spacious, full of light and fresh air, and beautifully decorated with artwork and books that give it a warm, personal feel. The second bedroom is perfect if youâre traveling with a guest, and all of the furniture is very comfortable. The apartment features excellent WiFi, a high-quality flatscreen TV, and a great sound system. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook when we wanted to stay in. Large windows throughout offer stunning views of Rome and swing open to let in abundant sunlight and refreshing breezes.Though we visited in April and didnât need to use the A/C or heat, the climate inside was perfect. The apartment is on the sixth floor, accessible by elevator, which made coming and going easy. The location is quiet yet centralâTrastevereâs vibrant restaurants are just steps away, and the historic city center is just across the river. All major sites are within walking distance; we averaged five miles a day exploring on foot. The Forum and Colosseum are less than half a mile away, and taxis or Ubers are easy to find if you want to venture farther.Weâve stayed in many VRBOs, and this is truly one of the best. Our host, Alberto, was wonderfulâresponsive, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about his home. He has created a beautiful space in Trastevere, and weâre so grateful to have experienced it. Thank you, Alberto!
This was a charming place. It was about a 20-30 minute walk to the Colosseum and an easy cab ride to the Vatican. There were lots of places to eat right around the corner. Great location!
We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was very nice and artsy. We loved the neighborhood and Alberto was an amazing host. He gave us great suggestions and was always quick to respond. Grazie Mille!
Canât express how great this stay was. Right in trastavere, this spot had everything we needed and tons of space. If I owed an apartment in Rome I would want this one. My one very small complaints is that the beds are not the most comfortable but otherwise this was a great stay!
We spent a lovely few days on the quiet side of the river, literally steps from several excellent trattorias. The area is quieter than you might expect, but very close to Ponte Pallatino from which you can access all the major attractions.
I recommend it to anyone traveling with family or a small group.
I cannot say enough about this fabulous apartment! It was the perfect location for my family and I. Right in the heart of the most charming neighborhood Trastevere full of wine and cocktails and cafes and restaurant's and flowers and charming people. You can walk to all the things but itâs only a short cheap Uber or taxi as well. The apartment was clean and delightfully charming. Very comfortable. The view from every window was lovely. You can even see the Vatican from the living room window. Super easy check in and check out. Owner was super responsive. I would stay here again and again
This was the perfect apartment in the perfect location for our family vacation in Rome. Our host did everything to make us feel organized and comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic and the artwork is even better! The views are spectacular and the selection of restaurants in the neighbourhood is exceptional. What a treat!
This lovely apartment was perfect for our 5-day stay in Rome. It was very comfortable, spacious, and clean and had an eclectic old-world charm that allowed us to feel like we were actually living in Rome (not just visiting). It is centrally located, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit, including the ancient sites and the Vatican and St. Peterâs. Alberto was very responsive and helpful when we had questions, and he provided well-organized written information, illustrated with pictures. Quaint streets with restaurants, shops,
ATMs and a little grocery were right around the corner. Great views from the kitchen and living room windows of rooftops in the Trastevere neighborhood were a bonus. We highly recommend this apartment!
I'm an actor, I've been living in this apartment for more than 20 years I do love art, cooking and painting. Some of my paintings are in the apartment. I often travel abroad, mostly to France and U.S.A. I speak English, French, Spanish and German. I like people, food, painting and travel. Feel free to contact me anytime for further informations about the properties I manage. Ciao!
I moved from my birthtown Florence to Rome in the eighties, since then I've lived in different areas of Rome till I found this fantastic apartment and I just stop searching furthermore. It is bright! Large windows, any room is literally flooded with light, it is full of good and positive energy. The view on Trastevere rooftops from 5th floor is unique! Sunsets are breathtaking. The neighbours are cool, the cafes and restaurants are the best and most tipycal you can find in the city.Too much to be kept only for my own pleasure so come and enjoy!
Forget about your car, from here you can just walk to anywhere. Name some worldwide famous place and you will be there in minutes. The mouth of truth is right across the Palatino Bridge in front of the apartment, not to mention Vatican and Colosseum 15 minutes walk from the main door of the apartment.
