Communication was easy and fast response to our questions. Someone lovely met us at the apartment to give us the keys and show us around the apartment. It was clean and had lots of space for our family of 5. The kids loved that we could watch Netflix in English at night! That was a nice bonus. Weather was very hot so we appreciated having the air con and the washer/dryer were very helpful during our stay. Great location with lots of restaurants to choose from. We walked to all the big sights and took a bus at times which was easy to find. The street gets busy at night but it's only the front rooms that hear the street noise. Just to keep in mind if putting small children to bed early. Conad department/grocery store right down the street also very handy! Would definitely recommend.
This property is fantastic! Easily accessible. There are two fights of stairs to access the apartment, but it is an easy climb, even with luggage. The apartment is spacious for a group of 5, with roomy bedrooms and common areas. Great amenities, including a washer and dryer. The private patio was very relaxing at the end of a long day, and also very inviting in the morning. Everything was great! Very clean. Check-in process went very smoothly. Our host, Michele, was great with communication... always quick and helpful. But best of all... the location!!!! Absolutely amazing!! A quick walk to Rome's historic district and most sites. Taxi and Uber can pick up and drop off right at your door. But the magic happens in the evenings, when the streets and piazzas of Trastevere come alive with food, music, and people. So many great restaurants on the street below. I would most definitely stay here again in the future!
Michele's apartment was perfect for our family. It is MUCH larger than we realized from photos which gave us plenty of space and was nice for our teenagers. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need and the air conditioning works very well. The decor is very fun.Michele was a wonderful host - helped us navigate our train into town and met us at the apartment to walk us thru how everything worked.Location is great. Close to lots of dining and bar options. A bit of a walk (or taxi) to many of the tourist attractions, but we preferred to stay further from those areas. We walked almost everywhere and found the area to be very safe and family friendly. The riverwalk evening market was a fun activity nearby.
We stayed here for four nights with our family of five. The location is in the heart of Trastevere. It is farther away from the main Rome sites but we had no problems with walking or taking the bus/tram as needed. The property was a very nice size for our family. The kitchen and patio area were nice, although I didnât cook this vacation! Laundry with dryer was nice to have with our large family. The rear bedroom was very quiet. We did not hear any noise. The living area and front bedroom did have problems with the noise from the street below but this is well known from prior reviews so we knew what to expect. We landed very early but were able to stow our luggage away at a store right around the corner âvery convenient. The host, Michele, answered all of my inquiries in a timely manner. Great communication. Overall a wonderful stay in Rome. Thank you!
Nicely appointed apartment, with a nice large family room to decompress after running the streets of Rome. Great A/C to cool off as well. Location is in the heart of Trastevere - making it a breeze to find whatever you need.
This was a great property in a perfect spot in the middle of the hustle bustle of Trastevere. Steps away from restaurants bars and late night singing! If you are a light sleeper you might be annoyed by all the action out the window late into the night. Nothing a few extra glasses of wine wont solve. Overall we were very happy about the location and apartment.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! Having an apartment with 3 children made our time in Rome so much more comfortable. The location couldn't be better. We loved walking through the cobblestone streets and soaking up the authentic Roman atmosphere. We were close to the tram stop and the bus stop. It was easy to navigate to all the tourist spots. We loved the little square near the apartment. The food was amazing. We tried a different place each night and never had a bad experience. We had 2 different places for breakfast right out the door. Our host was truly exceptional - responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was exactly as described and beautifully maintained. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Rome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Roman experience in Trastevere! We were so sad to leave.
Charming apartment and wonderful host in a perfect location. Spacious accommodations combined comfort and good taste, and the apartment boasted a well equipped kitchen.
Great location. Close to restaurants and local sites. This is how real Romans live. Michele was a gracious and conscientious host. Loved the outdoor sitting area.
Apartment was great for 4 of us. We loved having a terrace to sit out and enjoy the evening. The area is very busy in the evenings but close to restaurants and bars.
Perfect spot in a charming and lively neighborhood
Our family of 3 stayed here for our first visit to Rome. Beds and pillows are comfortable, kitchen has all you need, the laundry was handy, and the a/c was perfect after a long hot day walking through Rome. It was also nice to have the large living room and terrace to enjoy. There are sounds from the street in the front bedroom, but it didnât bother us. Michele and Angela made it all easy - both were responsive and helpful - much appreciated. We will happily stay here again!
Overall the stay was great. Communication with Michele who owns the apartment was excellent. He met us at the property and gave us a tour upon check-in. He was very responsive before and during our visit. He gave some dining recommendations too which was nice. The apartment is in a Trastevere, a neighborhood with a vibrant scene so it was fun to see that part of Rome, something we might not have done if we had stayed on the other side of the river. It was still walkable to get to the Colosseum, Pantheon, etc. although about a 25 min walk.
Roomy, comfortable apartment with all the amenities with a lovely terrace in a great location!
We stayed for two weeks with our adult daughter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very functional layout of the apartment provides two separate entries and a bathroom for each bedroom. The apartment has all the amenities we needed and the washer and dryer was a great help. The location was perfect for us being close to everything including restaurants, bars, pastry and gelato shops, little markets and a Conad supermarket close by. All the major tourist attractions we wanted to see were within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace every day. The owner, Michele, was very helpful and responsive to our questions. This apartment had everything we needed and more and we would definitely stay here again.
Near everything you need for a fabulous visit to Trastevere and Rome. Friendly and helpful host, well-equipped kitchen and large living room. The street outside is lively until late because of the central location, but we didn't mind it. The back bedroom is quiet for light sleepers. Trams 8 and 3 into Rome, as well as the H bus to the central station. Taxi stand nearby too.
Spacious and comfortable apartment with all the amenities!
We were 6 adults and we had plenty of space. Two bathrooms made it very comfortable. Water pressure was great(not typical in my experience traveling in Italy). Washer and dryer is a huge help to keep laundry under control. We did not cook, but there was everything you would need to do so. The nespresso and tea kettle were great for that morning coffee or evening cup of tea. The living room was a great space for us to gather and watch tv or relax. A/C units in all rooms. It should be noted that the neighborhood is lively and there are restaurants right outside so it is pretty noisy until the early morning hours. If you have small children it might be an issue as the windows are not insulated and it sounds like the people could be in the room with you. We stayed up late and are all adults so it did not bother us much. There is a big staircase leading up to the apartment. It was fine for us but might be an issue for some. Beautiful terrace that we didn't get to use but wish we had more time to enjoy. The owners were wonderful and quickly responded to the few questions we had. This apartment had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood!
We loved our stay in Trastevere. The apartment was truly fantastic, great furniture and everything needed for a 5 night stay including cooking for Christmas
We had a great one week stay in Micheleâs Trastevere flat, which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great for getting to markets, bakeries, cafes, and all that one might need for a short or longer stay. The apartment was pleasant to hang out in between city outings, and was well equipped if you would like to prepare meals in the nicely set up kitchen. Overall a nice place to anchor your visit to Rome for a family.
We ( a family of 5 adults ) have nothing but good to say about this apartment. The host, Michele, met us at the apartment and quickly showed us everything we needed to know. He is very efficient, very charming and very easy to communicate with.
The design of the apartment means everyone has their own space and plenty of room. The flat is incredibly well stocked with everything you require from dishwasher tablets to laundry soap and shampoo. Beds are comfortable, clean, plenty of pillows and roomy enough for two. There are two full bathrooms and a half bath/ laundry room complete with a very good dryer. The kitchen and patio are set away from the living room so you have 2 separate areas to relax or visit. There is a big smart tv and all the appliances, including the internet and air conditioning, work exactly as they should.
The location is second to none. Up a flight of stairs from a bustling, lively street in the heart of Trastevere. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance ( Vatican 20 to 30 minutes depending on your fitness) You are surrounded by restaurants and every possible amenity is close at hand. It is busy, crowded and young on the weekends. Every evening people below you are dining al fresco and generally having a very good time. Though we were a mature group we loved the vibe of this interesting neighbourhood so close to the river.
We would return without hesitation to this convenient apartment. Thank you for having us!
ĂuĂerst freundlicher und entgegenkommender Vermieter. Wer mitten in Trastevere wohnen will, muĂ wissen, dass er das sehr lebendige Treiben am Tag und in der Nacht mitbekommt.
Hello I'm Michele, the apartment's owner! I love to travel to know new places and new habits. I like so much the food and always try new dishes of different countries. Love also to cook.
I often travel for work to Spain and I have a family house in a small Village by the sea called Cadaques where a part of my family live, for this reason i started to rent my Trastevere apartment and I always had really nice experiences with my guests. Where in Rome I like to welcome my guests and I'm always on call for any suggestions or tips to make better and special their stay here in my city. Rome is of course a nice city but Trastevere is surely one of the nicest and characteristic district to come to visit it.
