L'appartement est situé dans un très bel immeuble du 17eme siècle, entièrement rénové, avec ascenseur. L'accès y est sécurisé par code, interphone et la présence permanente de la gardienne. L'appartement joui de beaucoup de lumière, de calme et d'une vue sur cour intérieure.
Idéalement situé à proximité immédiate des stations de métro Temple, Arts et métiers,Filles du Calvaire, Répubique. A 1 minute à pied de la rue de Bretagne et de ses commerces, du carreau du Temple, du marché Bio des Enfants-Rouges (plus vieux marché de Paris) et du très beau Square du Temple ainsi que des commerces de la rue des Francs-bourgeois, de la place des Vosges et des restaurants les plus branchés de la capitale. In a vast sea of Parisian apartment rentals, this one is a standout. The apartment is large and sunny, beautifully furnished, and perfectly equipped for cooking, The apartment's location on a quiet inner courtyard of a stunning historic building could make one forget it is located in one of the city's busiest and most sought after neighborhoods, full of restaurants, markets, and boutiques. I can't wait to return!

Great apartment in a great location!

This is a superb apartment in the heart of Le Marais. Very convenient to restaurants and cafes, and museums too. The host was very accommodating and made sure everything was fine. Highly recommended! We hope to stay there again during our next visit to Paris.

Large Apartment in the heart of Marais

Apartment located on quiet residential street close to great Bistro's and Restaurants. Large apartment with great kitchen, great light from many windows, modern elevator and spacious rooms. We walked to all of our popular sites and restaurants and the Christmas and Bastille markets are close by. Véronique was a perfect host, met us on our arrival and stayed in touch during our visit.

It is a well functioning appartment in a wonderful area. The inside is quite oldfashioned. I liked it but I think it is a little overpriced.

Disturbing and lasting impression.

First, the apartment was large, clean, and just as pictured on line. Great location with many eating and shopping opportunities nearby. However, 4 days after checking out the host texted me saying “I come to you because our cleaning lady did not find the mohair blanket that was on your bed”. I responded 40 minutes later that we had taken it off the bed because it was too warm to use and had put it in the closet. She then looked and found the blanket. But, in the mean time she had already gone to VRBO and put a 1000 Euro charge on my account. I was so upset, mad that I had been accused of stealing, and told her so. She just brushed it off saying “of course they will refund you” and “I didn’t accuse you of stealing”. Hard to believe that since she had already charged me the 1000 euros. Unfortunately it will be difficult to erase that memory of my first visit to Paris and I would never stay here again. I was guilty before even given an opportunity to respond. I contacted VRBO—and was disappointed that they would put the charge on my bill without discussing the situation with me first. Both the host and VRBO act as if all is resolved and no one harmed. That is not at all how I feel.

Perfect Paris Location

The apartment is larger than most that I've rented in Paris. Well furnished, clean and everything works including WIFI. The owner communicates in a timely manner, a big plus. The Marais is a lively, friendly and diverse area. We loved it. FIVE stars.

An excellent rental, but not without stress

The apartment and neighborhood were excellent, but communication with the owner was strained. We've rented in Paris via VRBO since 2012 and have always had positive experiences—until now.Three issues impacted our stay:1. The phone number we were given for the housekeeper did not go through. The owner told us the housekeeper would meet us with the keys, but without a working contact number, we were unable to notify her about our delayed arrival due to lost luggage at the airport. And we had no other information about entering the courtyard and its apartment.2. When we reached the owner directly, she said VRBO had emailed us the check-in information we sought, so we must not have read it. (Weeks later we found the email buried in a flood of messages that did not reach us on the day of the power outage throughout Portugal, where we were staying.) Thankfully, the housekeeper eventually met us in the courtyard, though by then it was quite late—through no fault of our own.3. When we requested cleaning after a week, the owner said her listing made no such offer—even though VRBO’s site clearly states “Housekeeping (on request)” and “Change of bedsheets (on request).” In our many years of renting through VRBO, we have always made use of these options and have never before been turned down.All of these issues stemmed from missed connections, miscommunication, and possible listing inconsistencies, but the owner’s vexed response to each situation added stress to our visit.

Gem in Marais

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely Marais flat. It was very well equipped for a short or extended stay. The flat was ideally located to explore the heart of Paris and within a 5-10 minute walk to several Metro stations. I felt the flat was large by Paris standards and appreciated how quiet it was to return to each evening. Cafes, food stores and boutiques are a short walk down the quaint streets of Marais. The owner and on site manager were both lovely to work with. We will definitely return and recommend this lovely, quiet flat without hesitation.

Beautiful, quiet, and centrally located apartment in the heart of Paris

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is as described and more. The apartment is beautifully decorated and stylish. We enjoyed the decor and attention to detail. The check-in was simple. Veronique gave us the essential information about the apartment and answered our other questions. The apartment is secure, facing a courtyard. Despite all the neighborhood activities (restaurants, bars, cafes), it is quiet. Also, since our trip was for business, we appreciated working spaces (a desk and two tables). The location is excellent, walking distance to various tourist attractions. We highly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, Quiet & Safe Apartment

This property is a "pied a terre" belonging to a family residing in Normandy. So, it's like staying in someone beautiful, fully furnished city home. It's warm and beautifully furnished and decorated. The location in le Marais is excellent with groceries, bakery, galleries, boutiques and dozens of restaurants within a coupe blocks. Situated in the "haute Marais" it's an excellent home base for exploring central Paris. Also, the Picasso Museum and Centre Ponpidou are a short walk away. Another significant plus is Veronique who manages the VRBO stays. She is charming, knowledgeable about the area and makes herself available. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on! Especially enjoyed Camille just a short walk away. I unreservedly recommend this apartment. It cost a bit more than others in le Marais but is worth it due to it's quality, location and excellent management!!

Perfect place for a Paris visit

A truly charming flat, perfect for two, decorated tastefully and with all the accoutrements we needed. Neighborhood location, with shopping, restaurants, bars, and Metro very nearby was excellent. We always felt safe. It was a wonderful base for exploring Paris. As others have noted, the bed squeaks with every movement. But it is large and comfortable and did not bother us at all. Veronique was gracious and answered our questions before and during our visit Very important was that the flat was VERY clean. We recommend it unconditionally. Merci!!

Location Location Location

Quiet and very well maintained building with elevator 😊 in a fabulous location with four metro stops within a quick walk. You can access any part of the city with little problem. Apartment is bright and spacious by Paris standards. Only real recommendation to owner is to see what they can do about a hugely creaky antique bed. A minor drawback. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient!!

Comfortable, light filled, spacious apartment, convienent for sightseeing, shopping, eating, and wal

This was the first time we stayed in Véronique's apartment, but it won't be the last. The apartment was perfect for our needs; the kitchen useful, the bed comfortable, the bathroom and toilet clean and usefully located, and the living room-dinning room very, very pleasant. The decor is different but charming. We had some difficulty with the WIFI at first, but that was quickly corrected by Gilles, Véronique's father, who remained available to us throughout our stay. Oh yes, I shouldn't forget to mention the lovely bottle of Champagne which greeted us on our arrival. Thank you Véronique, Gilles, and Danielle.

Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood

This apartment was beautiful. Lots of great art. The neighborhood is convenient to many Métro and bus lines, very good restaurants and services: supermarkets, laundromats, bakeries (great bakery on rue de Bretagne), cheesemongers, wine shops, etc. The agent gave us a lot of useful information, spending time explaining all the intracacies of the space. She responded to our texts in a timely manner. Our only disappointment was that although there was a washing machine, there was only a drying rack.

Most Marvelous Apartment

This was my second stay at this apartment. It is marvelous and I highly recommend it. The rooms are large, airy, bright and beautifully decorated with so much closet and drawer space for clothings, purchases and luggage. I felt at home the moment I arrived—I do not eat out at every meal, so the functional and fully stocked kitchen with beautiful dinnerware and glassware is a special touch. The building and courtyard is beautifully maintained and is extremely quiet—never any noise at night. I am a single woman traveling alone—I felt safe and secure in the building and apartment as well as the neighborhood. Although I traveled alone, the apartment is large enough for more travelers to feel quite comfortable. The location is my favorite, easy to walk to so many attractions and the local shops, restaurants and bars are amazing. I cannot recommend the apartment highly enough. Thank you Veronique for your attention to detail and for keeping in touch with me through the entire process of booking, arriving and departing—you made it so simple and you are so welcoming. C'est un luxeux appartement de 70 m2 d'une capacité de 4 couchages, situé au 2eme étage par ascenseur. Vous profiterez d'un vaste séjour lumineux. Ce séjour est équipé d'un canapé-lit confortable pouvant accueillir 2 personnes,une belle table de style 'art déco', de chaises et fauteuils et d'un bureau, d'une télévision à écran plat et Wi-Fi.
La cuisine est ouverte sur le séjour et propose un espace très fonctionnel. Entièrement équipée, vous y trouverez un four, des plaques de cuisson vitro-céramiques, un micro-ondes, un lave vaisselle, un lave linge, un grand réfrigérateur avec 3 tiroirs congélation...
La deuxième pièce est une grande chambre avec lit de style colonial King-size de grand confort. Attenante, une salle de douche.
