Le niveau principal est mis en valeur par un mobilier attrayant, des poutres apparentes et des parquets brillants. Un énorme mur de fenêtres est le point focal, et vous adorerez regarder la vue sur le lac changer chaque saison. Détendez-vous dans la grande salle près du foyer au gaz confortable pour regarder la télévision avec vos amis et votre famille.

Le plan d'étage ouvert est idéal pour se divertir. Vous pouvez participer à des conversations pendant que vous préparez des repas dans la cuisine bien équipée. Avec de nombreux sièges à la table et à l'îlot de cuisine, tout le monde peut se réunir pour partager confortablement les repas. De plus, il y a un charmant petit déjeuner où vous pouvez commencer votre journée avec une vue inspirante sur le lac.

Great lake view

This was the perfect house for our extended family of 12. Plenty of room. Location was near restaurants and attractions. Location would be best in winter as the ski resort is just a short distance across the ridge. The view of the lake from the deck was awesome! The management company was easy to work with through the whole process.

Great home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great! Stayed with four other friends, so we each had our own room, which was nice. Turned the basement into a yoga studio one morning, and the space was perfect for that. Only drawback was the Jacuzzi. The water level was low and it only got lukewarm. We were looking forward to the jacuzzi with the view of the lake and snow, so if that's the most important thing for you stay, you may want another rental.

Great place needs some love

With a beautiful view the windows need to be cleaned. There are 2 doors glass that we couldn’t lock emailed the host no response. Found a lot of mouse droppings. It was a great place literally needs a little maintenance

Fantastic Views!

Nicest view of any property I have every rented & the view made up for the many short comings of this property. Kitchen was not very well equipped, not enough seating for outside area, Beds were comfortable but the other furniture was very uncomfortable & showing it's age. Couldn't play pool since none of the cue sticks had tips on them, would recommend you bring your own sticks & chairs for the outside decks. Would not rent in the winter months unless you have 4 wheel drive, driveway is very steep. All in all I did enjoy this property, next time I will bring a comfortable chair & a seat cushion for the dining room chairs.

Not Bad But Not Great

The best thing about this home is the view and location. The worst thing was the condition it was in when we arrived. Perhaps the issue was the renter before us, but there were broken doors to the outside where one could not be closed (left ajar where mosquitos/ bugs could get in), a toilet that we couldn't flush, a shower that leaked/sprayed all over the place, a hot tub that will not turn off, and the list goes on. We spent the first day itemizing the damages for management so they knew we didn't break the list of items. Management was responsive and courteous. They sent out someone to fix the issues by the second day, but we were afraid to leave the home with the ajar door for the first day since it couldn't be closed and locked, which was frustrating. The heating and cooling is also drastically uneven where it's very cold on the bottom level (almost uninhabitable) and the top level is very warm. Other than this I would suggest bringing cooking utensils, which someone else had suggested in a review. For example, the can opener is broken and did not work at all. This was just annoying. There are also no basics, like salt and pepper, so plan to bring or buy those things as well. Other than these things the home was relatively clean. If a little more care is put into the home, I think it would go a long way to improve the experience.

Great Location and Unit

We were able to check in a little early at no additional cost, which was great. There is plenty of easy parking for 3 cars on the property, plus additional space at the top of the driveway. The house was on the top of a hill overlooking a beautiful lake at McHenry. It was a spectactular view. We had several minor issues that were addressed by the Staff as we reported them. There was a broken toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom. The gas grill had a leak that made it unuseable until fixed. The deadbolts on the main floor outer door and the outer door in the basement near the hot tub would not lock once we opened them. There were also only a full set of wine glasses. There were 3 or 4 regular drink glasses, but we broke one of them, so we had a definite shortage of drinkware. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of pots, pans, casserole platters and silverware. The deck could use a fresh coat of stain/pain, but nothing was really a major problem for us.

Could be cleaner ...cobwebs ...rotten carpet folded up on deck...dead ants along front windows ...trash in yard and around the inside and outside of house ...awesome view and overall great house it could have just been a little cleaner for the price.

Great for families

This was the second year to stay with our extended family at this location, lots of separate spaces for each family. However, there was a notable decline in maintenance from the previous year_broken switch in one bedroom, riser on one bed broken so it tilted,mold in downstairs bathroom, hot tub too hot to use.etc If these issues can be addressed it’s a wonderful location with view and walking distance to pool and playground.

Nice Community

The view was really nice. It overlooks the lake, with a nice view of the trees around. Unfortunately, it also overlooks the town and the lights are bright at night. We had 17 people ( 7 of them being under the age of 8) and there was plenty of room. The basement was always cool (68), but the upstairs was HOT (78) at night. There were no screens in the windows to help with that. There is a gas grill there, and a fire pit. The hot tub was amazing, as it overlooks the lake. It is set so it can't be turned down past 102, which was a bummer for the little kids but a win for the adults. There are pots/pans, but bring utensils. There is also a coffee pot and a Keurig. We did notice that there was a lot of dead bugs laying around, and it was dusty. The best part of this property was the community. There is a nice pool, a short walk away. Roads that at not very busy to walk on. With this rental, you can also drive about 2 miles and park closer to the lake to access a small park. There are chairs, bathrooms, a picnic area and a dock. (We used the dock for kayaks)

Great Time in Deep Creek

It is very comfortable for a large group. I loved the open floor plan. My only complaints are some cosmetic things needing attention and repair. The basement gas fireplace would not stay lit. Taylor-Made sent out one of their repair guys with prompt customer service. They fixed it and a few hours later it stopped working again. The lights in the kitchen flickered and would go out / trip the breaker and the garbage disposal would not work. The pool table had a loose board and the fooseball table was missing a player.

It was clean, all amenities were working, and everything was well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped (more than my expectation). It was a great experience but two nights were not enough :)

Good company prevented this from being a disappointment

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house appeared to be in decent shape. There were some minor issues which can be expected with any rental like this. The big points that our group took issue with were the broken pool table. One whole rail was not attached to the table and would move constantly. Secondly; the hot tub jets were intermittently working. The oven had to be manually lit or else the house filled with gas. This advertised as sleeping 13, but I would say comfortably it held 10. 4 bedrooms with queens, one bed with a full and a twin. And a dilapidated fold out air mattress that I wouldn't feel comfortable putting anyone over 25 pounds on. I would love to go back to the house if the issues were corrected.

Deck needs to be repaired. From the water leaking out of the hot tub it's separated the concrete pad from the ground and left wires exposed. Also has a bad sewage smell some days can't be on deck do to the awful smell
