Regardez les bateaux, écouter les mouettes. Cette maison a une vue imprenable! De la maison vous pouvez voir le lac Michigan, Round Lake et le lac de Charlevoix. Vous aurez envie de passer tout votre temps sur la grande terrasse donnant sur le port. Il est une maison historique, mais offre toutes les commodités modernes dont vous pourriez avoir besoin - les zones de divertissement, wi-fi, parking privé hors rue, et un bureau. La maison offre amplement la vie privée mais il est au centre de toutes les activités que vous voudrez peut-être poursuivre. Il est un pâté de maisons de la Marina City, du cœur du centre-ville, des restaurants et des magasins, et le parc de la ville qui offre de nombreuses activités tout au long de l'été, y compris des foires d'art, des concerts, des films et des marchés fermiers. Le lac Michigan et ses plages sont à seulement cinq pâtés de maisons. La rampe de lancement public et de la plage sur le lac de Charlevoix sont à distance de marche. Charming Charlevoix Chalet

We had a wonderful time in Janna’s home. She was very gracious and welcoming! Upon arrival, we were immediately drawn in by the stunning view overlooking the water. We enjoyed many evenings on the deck and the home’s decor was incredibly warm and inviting. 😊

Perfect location, clean and well stocked

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view overlooking round lake. The house is well taken care of with beautiful gardens. The bathrooms and laundry are supplied with toiletries and nice soaps, and plenty of towels, including beach towels, are provided. Our family and a few friends really enjoyed our time on the balcony, and we can’t wait to stay again next year. Thanks to Janna for being a gracious and welcoming host! -The Farjo Family

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful family vacation in this charming Charlevoix home. It was a perfect location for enjoying all Downtown has to offer with a quick walk to great restaurants, shopping, etc…. We loved the spacious deck with a beautiful view of the marina and Round Lake. It also had a nicely landscaped, private yard.The house had plenty of room to gather together but also room to spread out for personal space. The master suite level was large and very nice with a huge his/hers bathroom, as well as a second living area.. The wi-fi was strong enough for our daughter to work remotely and we had no problem streaming movies. The owner included special touches throughout which made it feel very comfortable.

Hidden Belvedere Gem

Our group makes an annual pilgrimage to Charlevoix to play Belvedere, and very fortunate to secure lodging at Belvedere Cottages as guests or renters. I have passed 102 Belvedere on walks many times and always wondered about it, the house itself is hidden by trees and landscaping. Finding the house as a rental is a funny story, but from the moment I walked into the house I realized this would be a special stay. The house & grounds radiate Janna's zen energy. The moment you enter the house you are under her spell, you pour that first gin & tonic, then mesmerized by the deck view you realize 2 hours later you haven't unloaded the car.

102 Belvedere has way too many positive features/attributes/characteristics to list here. I'll list the one that was most important to me while on vacation: easy. The house, yard, location, parking, owner, etc. simply work. Zero issues.

Excellent home and location

Absolutely wonderful for so many reasons. Location is to die for, accommodations for a mix of older teens and adults, and equipped to make it easy to arrive and enjoy. This was our 2nd summer staying here and it’s truly an awesome experience.

We love Charlevoix and we love Janna’s cozy house on the hill. Beautiful view of the marina from the back deck and you can walk anywhere you need to go. We will be back for sure.

Magnificent Vacation and Accommodations

Usually when you see a property online it looks better than in person. NOT THE CASE with 102 Belvedere in Charlevoix. It was a spectacular home and the host went out of here way to make sure every little detail was covered. The location couldn't be better. We walked everywhere and the views for BOTH decks were incredible. I couldn't have imagined staying at a nicer home than the one we stayed at. I'm so thankful for a fabulous family vacation!

If you're a deck lover who enjoys a view, this is your spot. Charlevoix is fantastic and this house owns one of the best views and locations possible. Our entire family has a fantastic week including our dog, Buster. If you're on the fence about a place to stay, look no further. This is your spot!

4th of July week in Charlevoix

Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Loved the deck. Enjoyed watching boats come in and out of the harbor. Lovely home, well-stocked with all of the necessities. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location

Wonderful view of the marina and the park downtown. So convenient to walk to shops and restaurants, grocery store and beach. Owner of property was very thorough in preparing the amenities and providing everything you need. We'll be going back again.

Wonderful experience in Charlevoix!

My husband and I, our 1-year old, and my in-laws stayed here at the end of September. The house exceeded our expectations with a view that can’t be beat, very clean, fully equipped, and accessible to everything we needed. Grocery store and downtown are just steps from our door, but the best part is the beautiful spacious deck and yard with a view of the harbor. The third floor loft was perfect for work for my husband with good wi-fi access. The house is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed from toiletries to fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge and exceptional. Just a great family trip, enjoying beautiful evenings on the deck, al fresco dining in the yard, playing with the baby in the main room, nighttime games in the upstairs family room, and many walks around the neighborhood and to downtown to stop in the shops and restaurants. Our host Janna was also very attentive and accessible. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house in a great location!

Loved the property and Charlevoix! Our family of 5 enjoyed the house alot!!! Very comfortable and well stocked (from the kitchen to the bathrooms). The location is perfect - walking distance to town - restaurants, shops, grocery store, Lake Michigan beach. We walked everyday! We watched the sunset almost every day - beautiful! Ferry Beach is walkable but we drove since we had some water toys. Torch Lake is beautiful but farther. We even checked out Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Traverse City. Janna was very accessible to any questions and comments we have - thank you!!! We definitely want to come back!!!

The definition of Brigadoon in Webster’s Dictionary is “a place that is idyllic, unaffected by time, or remote from reality.”

You may be familiar with the musical or movie “Brigadoon”. It is a musical with a book and lyrics by Lerner and music by Loewe that premiered in New York City in 1947 at the Ziegfeld Theatre.

The story is of a mythical village in the Scottish Highlands. The village became enchanted centuries ago remaining unchanged and invisible to the outside world except for one special day every hundred years when it could be seen and even visited by outsiders. This enchanted day is spent in joy and celebration. Those who happen upon Brigadoon may remain in this beguiling place after that magical day only if they love another enough to give up the world outside.
Charlevoix is the magical place. Chances are that you, like me, will enjoy the celebrations here and will appreciate that the natural beauty has been unaffected by time.

My career led me to live in many different places and to travel to many countries. Though it was Charlevoix that I couldn’t seem to forget, and it was here that I eventually moved back to. That is why I fondly call my house Brigadune (dune to reflect the wonderful beaches here). Now I enjoy the magic here every day. I hope you will find it magical too.
