The Space:

Start your vacation off right at this fabulous oceanfront condo with a bayside balcony to capture the sunsets! Enjoy a full kitchen with plenty of room to cook. Have lunch on the large furnished sundeck and have a solid rest in the master bedroom. Come home and fall asleep to the sounds of the Ocean in the master bedroom that opens to an oceanfront balcony.



The building offers direct beach access, and you'll be within walking distance of several restaurants and shops all along Coastal Highway. Jump in the car or take the bus to Jolly Rogers and Splash Mountain Water Park five miles south.



The 75 foot ocean front pool is open June 1 through Labor day weekend (subject to change per building management)

Smoking is strictly prohibited on-site.

There are active surveillance cameras on-site. These are exterior cameras only.

There is a $60 registration fee for parking at the Irene building.



Parking: Two designated on-site parking spaces are included with this rental.



Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Not a great experience. We were notified on our drive down that the balcony was inaccessible from the living room due to the door being broken. Upon arrival, both the living room and main bedroom curtains were broken and could not be closed. Made it challenging to have privacy or block out sun early in the AM. The condition of the condo is rough with dust, sloppy paint, broken lamp, and a damaged chair. I communicated all of this on day 1 of check in, followed up day 2, day 3, finally received a message from Vuestay on day 4 (the day before we were scheduled to leave). Poor conditions, poor service from Vuestay.

Unfortunately, our stay at this property was very disappointing. The unit did not live up to how it was represented, and several significant issues affected our vacation.The master bathroom had a ceiling leak, and the balcony door was unusable. The master bedroom had only sheer window coverings rather than functional curtains or blinds, so sunlight poured into the room early every morning, making it difficult to sleep.We also experienced issues with the kitchen sink and other aspects of the unit that made the property feel poorly maintained.For the price we paid, we expected a clean, fully functional, and accurately represented vacation rental. Instead, we spent part of our stay dealing with problems that should have been addressed before guests arrived.Based on our experience, I would encourage potential renters to carefully confirm the current condition of the property and its amenities before booking.

Please be warned of many safety and comfort issues with this condo before booking. I wouldn't recommend this condo to anyone. We had a great vacation despite the many things that were wrong. I reached out to the hosts twice during our stay about the issues & never received a response. Issues are as follows: When we walked into the living room, we were met with a sign on the sliding door to the balcony that said "do not use, door is broken". Ceiling in the living room was falling down & rusting. Front of drawer in the back bedroom dresser fell out onto my foot when I opened it. Ice maker didn't work. Kitchen spigot didn't turn off correctly. Small drawer in front of the kitchen sink was filled with mold. Sink in the bathroom didn't drain. A lamp in the living room had a broken switch & should not have been there at all. It was most definitely a fire hazard. The only access to the balcony was through the primary bedroom door. This was a major inconvenience as people slept on different schedules. No lock on the balcony door in the bedroom. Curtains were hung but didn't have a pull that worked so couldn't be opened. The listing said there was a toaster. There was a broken toaster with a sign that said "DO NOT USE". When we questioned staff on site, before we even mentioned where we were staying, they already knew the unit we were talking about. There have clearly been issues with this unit by past renters that have not been addressed. Be warned before renting.

Dated but likeableThere are no TVs in the bedrooms. There are no Tvs in the bedrooms. Parking is 60. The kitchen and the bathrooms are fine. The list of things that need to be replaced or updated is lengthy. The parking pass was a surprise I didn't pay attention to before booking. Some light switches near the kitchen did nothing - maybe need bulbs. The living room furniture is visibly stained and needs cleaning if not replacement. The balconies are both lovely, although the main slider from the living room to the oceanside balcony is unusable. Very cool to have balconies on both sides of the building. The building itself is great. Multiple elevators and a beautiful new pool. Both sliders and their window treatments need to be replaced. The bedroom slider needs blockout shades for sleeping-in days. We did not get linens for the sofa bed. When we cleaned up for checkout we found quite the collection of garbage in the cabinet under the sink housing the trash can including food stuff and cigarette butts. We were given the correct code to enter the unit itself, but were not given the pool code or the code to enter the lobby after hours. Luckily someone let my daughter in late at night when she arrived. Check with the staff in the main office for the right codes. The host people were pretty accessible via text, only not when my daughter couldn't get in. In my case the price was right and I would stay again hoping to find some items updated.
