Magnifique villa a 3 mns du village

'La Plantade' est une élégante villa provençale, pleine d'antiquités et de peintures, cachée en bas d'une rue privée, à quelques pas du pittoresque village médiéval de Tourrettes-sur-Loup, apprécié des artistes. La vue s'étend du bleu de la Côte d'Azur au village sur sa colline et aux montagnes environnantes. Le superbe jardin paysagé comporte de nombreuses variétés de roses et de palmiers. Une vaste terrasse entoure la maison et donne sur la piscine et l'allée où peuvent se garer plusieurs voitures. Nice et son aéroport sont à 20 min. Cannes, Monaco, Menton, Antibes et l'Italie ne sont pas loin en voiture. Nombreux musées à proximité pour les amateurs d'art : la Foundation Maeght, à St-Paul-de-Vence, le Musée Picasso à Antibes, les Musées Chagall, Renoir et Matisse en dehors de Nice. Les restaurants de premier ordre abondent et les sports à pratiquer sont nombreux (tennis à 2 minutes, golf, cyclisme, randonnée, équitation, parapente). Parcours de golf: Sur un rayon moyen de 30 à 40 minutes autour de La Plantade, il y a onze remarquables parcours de golf. La plupart comprennent parcours d'entraînement et leçons. Ils se trouvent dans un secteur renommé aussi pour ses bons restaurants. Mougins où il y en a deux : le Golf de Valescure et le Golf de Cannes Mougins. A Valbonne, le Golf d'Opio Valbonne et le Victoria Golf Club, à Grasse le Golf de Grasse Country Club et le Golf de Saint Donat. Plus près de la côte, le Golf de Biot à Biot, village connu pour le verre qu'on y fabrique. Et si vous voulez vraiment être près de la côte, juste derrière Cannes, à Mandelieu-la-Napoule, il y en a deux autres : le Riviera Golf Club et le Golf de Cannes Mandelieu. Plus loin, le Monte Carlo Golf Club et un autre à Tende, le Golf de Vievola. Certains proposent piscines, courts de tennis et équitation. Ski: De la Plantade, on peut se rendre facilement à nombre de stations de sports d'hivers en voiture! Durant l'hiver 2005 il y a eu 5 chutes de neige, avec à chaque fois 20 cm sur la Riviera. La station la plus proche est celle de Gréolières-les-Neiges, à 30 minutes en voiture. Ce domaine couvre 1000 hectares à une altitude de 1400 à 1800 m. 10 remontées pour un ensemble de pistes : 3 bleues, 3 vertes, 15 rouges et 2 noires sur plus de 30 km. En une heure environ en voiture, vous pouvez être à Beuil-Valberg, de 1430 à 2100 m. 52 pistes et 22 remontées: 6 noires, 22 rouges, 13 bleues, 11 vertes et 24 km de tracés pour ski de fond et 12 km pour du ski en raquettes. Et aussi du karting sur glace pour les enfants! We spent 11 days at this villa and had a lovely time. The villa itself has lots of character. The outside is beautiful with stunning views over Tourette’s sur loup. There are lots of seating areas, plenty of chairs and parasols to shade you from the sun. Andrea the owner is very helpful and sorted a couple of issues we had promptly. She lives in the village and is always on hand to help.The villa is 5 minutes walk from the village and there a variety of restaurants to choose from. There are a couple of small grocery stores but we found them expensive and went to vence instead to stock up. We didn’t gave a car but there are plenty of Ubers around. Would definitely recommend this villa and the area which is really lovely.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Tourrettes-sur-Loup. The house is full of character, comfortable, and perfectly situated with peaceful surroundings and stunning views. It was an ideal home base for exploring the Côte d’Azur and relaxing with our family.Andrea was very helpful, thoughtful, and generous—she even prepared a delicious salade Niçoise for us one afternoon, which we happily enjoyed on the terrace. She clearly takes great pride in the home and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. At times, the communication was a little more detailed than we’re used to, but it always came from a place of care and attentiveness.We truly loved both the villa and the location, and we hope to return someday. It’s a special place we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in the South of France.

The villa was stunning and more than big enough for our party of 7, it is full of interesting statues and art, some of which we moved for their own safety! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms good. The pool was brilliant and perfect in the hot weather. There was a very windy storm one evening and Andrea organised a gardener to come and clear out the pool of debris by the following lunch time which was great. It was about a 5-10 minutes walk to the village square and the lovely craft shops and restaurants etc, the restaurants are very small, mostly expensive a couple with michelin stars but also patchy about their opening days/times so don't expext them to be open all week or even in the evenings. The delivery pizza was fab and il ponte vecchio which is the restaurant closest to the villa was fab, we went twice. We did not have a car as there were 7 of us and although transport to local villages in the day by bus was cheap and efficient, transport further, especially for 7 was expensive. However driving a big car down the very narrow and steep roads might have been challenging! Be mindful that Andrea sent a list of requests of what we could do before we left, we didn't achieve all of them and no issues were raised. Overall a great holiday would recommend.

Our Stay at La Plantade

Where do I begin.... our experience began way in advance of our arrival to La Plantade, the house in Tourettes-sur-Loup, through my interaction with the owner Andrea. She is a wealth of knowledge and quite happy to share and answers any and all questions you may have. Because of this, we were so excited for our trip and staying at the beautiful home in which we would spend a week. The home looks just like the images on line! The gardens are beautiful, so well kept. The house is quaint and filled wtih amazing art work and antiques. Beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped (I cooked and hosted a dinner party) so used all in the kitchen and was quite enjoyable to spend the day doing so. Is perfect for a small group and lot's of areas to spend time visiting, but if you want to get away, you certainly can. As promised the house is quite close to the village. A short 4 to 5 minute walk to a variety of shops, restaurants and stunning views. Also great proximity to Nice, Vence, St. Paul de Vence, Grasse etc.... We would definitely stay again and want to thank Andrea for her hospitality and all she did to welcome us (shopped so we had food upon arrival, first night dinner reservations and more). La Plantade is a wonderful property and would not hesitate to encourage those looking for the French experience to stay and enjoy!

Great location and villa was excellent

Stayed here as part of our trip for the Rugby World Cup. 9 people altogether over the 5 bedrooms which worked perfectly. Social areas inside and outside were excellent and the pool a great size to have a bit of fun with. Tourrettes-sur-loup is a great village too with local walks, great restaurants and access from there into the moutains as well as days to the beach. Perfect for us!

Absolutely beautiful area to explore. The house is typical of the area with lovely external lights that come on when dark that make it magical House well equipped and homely Well Maintained garden and plenty of seating areas outside to enjoy. What a wonderful house in our favourite village in the South of France. Really well equipped kitchen and fantastic pool. Comfortable beds and beautiful views from the terrace. Andrea kept in touch and was so flexible about the changing lockdown / quarantine regulations and final payment. Really wonderful holiday

Wonderful stay

La Plantade is a lovely spacious house with stunning gardens and outdoor space. From the sofas on the terrace the view is magnificent - one can even see the sea. It is only a short walk into the village where there is a very good bakery, numerous restaurants and a great market on a Wednesday morning. Andrea is a wonderful host - she could not have been more generous and attentive. A marvellous place to stay and relax.

Characterful property in a great location

We stayed at Andrea’s house for 2 blissful weeks in August. The house was fabulously located - only 5 mins walk into a village with good bakeries and 5 or 6 excellent restaurants. Andrea’s home is full of character and furnished to a very high quality - it feels very much like a home rather than a holiday let. The garden is beautifully maintained by Andrea and a team of gardeners who visit weekly. Andrea was a delightful host; she met us when we arrived and was very communicative both before and throughout our stay.

Les Plantades at Tourette

Lovely hot week mostly in the pool with the little children. Tourette is a lovely old village with all the basics plus an art community in the medieaval town. A 10 minute walk in every morning for shopping and a cafe or go in the evening for a wide choice of excellent restaurants. All good, very good.

Luxury private villa

What a fantastic property in a wonderful location. The outside space was superb, wonderful terraces overlooking the old town, wrap around garden with always a spot of shade and an amazing pool. With 5 bedrooms it was a most spacious property. Tourrettes-sur-Loup was a short walk away with an array of eateries , a beautiful town and we made the most of the Wednesday market. Andrea was a fantastic host most communicative and shared lots of useful information. A memorable family holiday. Maggie

Absolutely perfect.

We had the most wonderful week that is now etched in our memories as one of best ever holiday we've ever experienced. We stayed with another couple to celebrate a 50th birthday and with 2 of our adult children and all 6 of us continue to rave about that one week. The house is full of charm, the outdoor area perfect for entertaining, and the pool perfect for fun and relexation. Tourettes sur Loup is a beautiful village in itself and Nice is not so far away. On top of that Gourdon and Grasse are within easy driving distance. We will definitely be back.

Stunning villa in Tourettes-Sur-Loup

The villa very much exceeded our expectations and we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Every detail is thought of and the house is so comfortable that it's easy to spend time there. The patio has magnificent views of the valley and mountains and is perfect for a sunset bbq. The village is a mere 5 minute walk away and has many lovely restaurants and bars (definitely go to The Cave). We often traveled into Nice which is an easy 25 minute drive. The Monday antique market is a must visit. Andrea is a fabulous host and shared all her knowledge about the area and it's surrounds, which was very helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Beautiful small town Villa

We truly enjoyed out time in Tourrettes sur Loup at La Plantade. This home is old, but updated in all the right places, has beautiful artwork inside and fabulous park-like grounds outside. The views are of the mountains, the ocean and the gorgeous hilltown. We walked to town every day and loved it. We cooked in on market day with food from the market. It is a convenient to all the great sites of the Cotes d'Azur (Monaco, Nice, Eze, Cannes, Antibes, Grasse, Gourdon, Vence, St. Paul de Vence, etc.) Andrea was the perfect host. We rent often and highly recommend this home.

Enjoyed our holiday in Tourettes sur loup, our favourite French unspoiled village.Lovely location and gardens. Many lovely antiques and paintings in a rustic feel. spacious interior for 10, except very small kitchen. Extremely attentive host. We topped up pool often due to leak. Drain cover outside studios in need of resealing. Unexpected addition of owners resident cat who we fed and medicated.

Beautiful house, great location

A stunning villa next to beautiful Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Walking distance to the village where you will find good restaurants and shops for top ups after supermarket shopping depending on your group. We were 10 and the home accommodated us without any problem. Very well equipped kitchen and furnished to a very high standard by the owner Andrea. Andrea is a lovely lady and lives locally. Her help and knowledge is unsurpassed and communication is fantastic. I can recommend this villa to anyone. Yes, the access to the property is restricted to certain width cars but we parked 2 cars just down the road in the general car park without any problems and it is free. The parking bays are wider than we have in the UK! When you arrive after a very long journey by car as we did the views and property are worth it. Lovely villa, owner, location, what more do you want!

Wonderful house in a wonderful village

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The house is so comfortable, charming, with a great pool in walking distance to the beautiful medieval village. Property owner Andrea was incredible before and during the trip - so helpful in making sure our trip was as good as can be, including great recommendations for restuarants and things to do. Tourrettes is a really great village - plenty to see and do but very relaxed and charming without the tourist bustle of some other towns near there - we were smitten with it all and will be back! (I can also confirm that the driveway is VERY tight. It is doable and gets easier but zero room for error)

Excellent, well equipped holiday villa.

La Plantade was everything we expected it to be from the description and the photographs.The Villa has plenty of space,is well equipped and is full of interesting furniture and art works.The Villa was very well prepared for us and Andrea, the owner,explained all we needed to know in order to have a relaxing holiday.She also supplied lots of very useful information about the area and activities.The pool is large and well maintained as are the gardens with plenty of space but quite private.The village is a short walk away and is a delightful medieval village with friendly people.It is well supplied with restaurants and we ate out several times at various places. We hope to go back to La Plantade and would certainly recommend this property.

Can't think of nicer place to spend a 60th birthday!

We spent a wonderful couple of weeks in this fabulous villa. As a party of 10 adults we were able to comfortably co-exist here without feeling the least bit crowded. We made good use of the extensive terrace and generous pool/poolside areas, enjoying the ever changing far reaching views where we were treated to a very dramatic electrical storm one evening. Truly magical. The house itself is wonderfully quirky, full of authentic charm and eclectically furnished. The town is a short, pleasant walk away and has a number of lovely restaurants and bars, some with stunning views across the valley. Also a couple of small stores and boulangeries. Its a great place just to wander around, marvel at the architecture and soak up the atmosphere. Andrea proved to be an attentive and helpful host, very quick to respond to queries and a useful source of local knowledge. Our stay at the villa was truly memorable for all the right reasons, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and am hopeful I will return one day! Thank you so much Andrea for making my transition into my 60's so joyful.

A Week on the French Riviera

A group of nine women traveled from the United States to Nice, France. The villa we chose, La Plantade, has stunning views, beautiful art, and is well located near the village of Tourrettes sur Loup. Quite walkable to enjoy an early breakfast of chocolate, croissant and espresso. The villa owner, Andrea, Agrell, communicated clearly and quickly with our group. She recommended several of the medieval villages nearby, even driving a couple of our group to visit them, while others remained at the Villa to relax. We have not even been home a week, and we all miss this place. Beautiful rosebushes, fresh herbs, and stunning views from the terrace will lift your spirit. Many thanks to our host!

Relaxing 2 weeks at La Plantade

This was our second holiday at La Plantade. Between visits the owner has carried out extensive improvement work to the outside space. The veranda is lovely with areas of sun and shade, well equipped with chairs and table and with beautiful views across Tourrettes and the surrounding countryside. We spent many pleasant hours on the veranda, eating all our meals out there. The pool area is very pretty and well equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.. The villa is spacious, very clean, well maintained and has everything you could need. The proximity to the village with its excellent shops and restaurants means having a car is not essential. We had a great holiday and hope to return in the not too distant future.

La Plantade was fabulous!

We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in Tourettes sur loup. The location of the house was incredibly convenient, we walked into the village within minutes to buy croissants at Chez Mami or dine at several of the charming restaurants. Our favorites were La Cave, L’Ami Paul, and Cinq. We spent so much time on the terrace overlooking Tourettes. Whether it was breakfast or dining or simply having appetizers we couldn’t get enough of the vista. We took day trips to Aix, Nice, Menton, Antibes,Gourdon and of course St Paul de Vence. Each excursion was terrific. Finally I want to praise Andrea, our host, who was so helpful and attentive to our needs. Thank you soooo much! Maureen and Keith

'La Plantade' is a family home with antiques, art and memorabilia belonging to my parents and grandparents. As such, it is warmly welcoming and unique as a rental property. It contains many unusual items with historical significance.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The location of the house is perfect with respect to its distance to the lovely perched village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. It is easily 'walkable' within 3 to 5 minutes - depending upon your legs, energy and hunger for that 'café au lait'! It has beautiful views extending to the blue Esterel mountains and sea by St Tropez to nearer mountains and bays plus beautiful Tourrettes. There is fantastic hiking, skiing, golf, food all within short distances.
