Black Bear Bungalow by Beyond Expectations is a newly renovated dog friendly3BR/3BA cabin for up to 6 guests, perched above Gatlinburg in a peaceful setting. Just 10 minutes from downtown, this retreat blends modern comfort with Smoky Mountain charm. Driveway accommodates 2-3 vehicles with level parking. While roads to the cabin are paved, some sections are steep - we recommend arriving during daylight hours for your first check-in.

The cabin's main entrance is on the upper level, with 3 steps to reach the front door. All essential amenities (kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living room) are on the main floor. Theater room and third bathroom are located downstairs.

The driveway and roads to the cabin are fully paved but can be steep in places, which is typical for mountain locations. Cell service is generally reliable, with AT&T and Verizon offering the strongest coverage.

The theater room doubles as a third sleeping area with a Murphy bed, offering flexibility for families and groups. The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled between each stay and may need a few hours to reach full temperature after refilling.

The cabin sits in a peaceful wooded area, and while it feels private, you may occasionally hear distant sounds from neighboring cabins. Basic cleaning supplies are provided if needed during your stay.

The outdoor fire pit is wood burning, and firewood can be purchased nearby. As with any mountain setting, local wildlife is common—please do not feed them or leave food outside.

If visiting in the winter months (November through February), a vehicle with good traction is recommended. For your safety, exterior security cameras monitor entry points only.
