We enjoyed our stay. The location was great. We were close to everything. We even had a chance to see a big bear run through the yard. Hopefully we will be back again.
Overall its a nice cabin, and we did walk to town. Convenient and close. Cabin had lots of cobwebs and the outside needs some cleaning up. A lot of stuff just laying around. Bathroom pocket door downstairs wouldn't stay closed or lock, so that was inconvenient. Driveway looks way bigger in photos. Hard to maneuver 2 vehicles in and out, but some clearing can help that. But we enjoyed our stay and i would stay again
Nice location! Walkable IF you want a good hike. But there are plenty of Lyft/uber too. We had lots of bear encounters because its location is off the beaten path! Big enough yard for the kids to play and explore. No basics are at the cabin so bring everything youâll need: Shampoo/soap, S&P/seasonings, coffee, creamer, etc. because the grocery store is far and expensive! There isnât a vineyard, or winery here near the cabin, so Iâm not sure why Iâm being asked to review that.Overall very pleased with our stay!! Gatlinburg was way busier that we anticipated. There are some good restaurants close by that arenât on the strip. Alamo steakhouse. A tapas restaurant. If you get a chance to get to the art and pottery district it is more chill. Anakeesta was worth the money for us, but we avoided all the other places on the strip!
Great location, surrounded by trees but just a short walk to town. Quiet area with paved roads. Short drive to the entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park. Home was spacious and lots of room for the whole family to enjoy. The kids loved the covered front porch rocking chairs. Thanks for letting us call your cabin our cabin for the weekend
Our stay was short but very nice. The house was clean, had a great layout and location to town. Close enough to walk but away from the noise and activity. The property is very interesting although the yard and garden could use some TLC to make it even more enjoyable. Creek is accessible across the street but is a very nice walk up the neighborhood road following it along. We saw a mama bear and her cubs several times a day as we walked to and from town.
Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Very close to town by car, can walk as well but takes about 15 min. Cabin is quiet, very peaceful. We didn't lack anything, all appliances work well, kitchen large and comfortable. Saw two young bears playing outside the window second day, it was cool. Didn't care for gatlinburg, too crowded and food not all that great so we were happy to be just outside the town.
Pros: Check in and check out were very easy; WiFi was great; place was in a great location, very clean with no clutter, and there was plenty of room for us!Cons: there was a general lack of supplies-cheap paper towels, no extra bath towels or rags, and the hand soap containers were basically empty. There was nothing to put on the floor to exit the showers. There wasn't a single box of tissues. There were no K-cups for the Keurig (not even a few to get started). The chair on the back porch was covered in moss/grass and there were a lot of spider webs back there. The upstairs bathroom door didn't latch and the small bed had no support in the middle-we just rolled to the middle of the bed.All in all, a very nice place! It just needs a few minor fixes and more supplies.
