A wonderful stay!

We've had the pleasure of staying at this property several years ago and it was just as wonderful now as it was then. The location is great, the unit is very clean, well stocked, and the view is great. Check in is so easy, and communication with the host is excellent. This is a great place for a couple or a family. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic Time at a Great Place

Property fantastic and exactly as described. Stayed there while we went to Cedar Point. Walked to dinner each night downtown. Live music one night and food trucks at the pier. View was awesome.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time! My husband and I loved watching the boats and being so close to everything. Our teen daughter loved having the loft beds and our son really enjoyed the gaming table. We hope to be back soon!

Great View!

Nice loft apartment close to Cedar Point and Kalahari with a great view! Dan was easy to work with, gave detailed instructions and seemed eager to further improve the experience of his property. Classic arcade table was a novelty for kids and nosyalgic for adults. Pool access was a plus as well. A few minor details, but overall great experience!

Loft Vacation

The property was very secure from the front gate to the front door. Residents were very friendly. Views are awesome and lots of action at the Jackson Street Pier. “Goodtime” boat rides coming and going. Live music at the Pier Thursday night that you could hear from the room. It was a very nice place to stay and would consider staying again. Very close to Cedar Point and Sports Force Park. Close to downtown Sandusky. Brick Oven Pizza is delicious. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Priced right but shouldn’t be called “luxury.”

I'll start with the good, and there's plenty... The owner was very kind, professional and responsive. Example/ Prior to arrival I asked if the unit includes a fan (we need to dry wet sailing clothes each day) and he said no, but he'd find one for us and sure enough it was waiting in the unit upon our arrival. The location is fantastic and so are the views and the surrounding down town area...charming and far quieter than you'd expect. The a/c worked very well, including the loft area with its high ceilings. The place also seemed pretty clean. Although it's very hard to compare pricing from one region of the country/world to another, I'd have to say the price is quite reasonable for what you get. $269 all-in per night for a unit with a master bedroom + loft with 2 nice sized beds seems fair, even though there's only one very modest bathroom. My core issue is the title of his listing: "Luxury waterfront family vacation rental." There is literally nothing 'luxury' about this rental. Nothing. --Luxury rentals don't have cheap uncomfortable bedding. Instead of nice cotton sheets, it's some crappy poly blend that creates sweat wherever your skin touches the sheets. The cheap fitted sheet fabric constantly slides off the mattress at the corners and the pillow cases are too small for the pillows so the pillows themselves a

Great location

My family had a condo in Port Clinton when I was a kid so I'm fairly familiar with the "shores and islands" area. This Sandusky condo was in great shape, was a great location, and had so many added bonuses. One of the big added bonuses was a gated parking lot for the complex. The view from the condo was amazing, I could've stared out the window all day it's such a great view of the bay. It's probably one of the most underrated areas, giving guests quick access to Cedar Point and the islands at a much better overnight price than staying on-site at either. A side note to boaters, we kept our boat on a trailer at a nearby marina. The nearby public ramp was within a half mile of the condo.

Excellent location

We stayed 3 nights with our 3 and 5 year old. It was a perfect location for exploring the area. Loved walking to restaurants and to the jet express. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Perfect stay !

The place is amazing, the area where the condo is location is perfect , waking distance to the ferry , all the amazing pubs and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were an awesome kicker . Met some great people that live there . Dan was great to communicate with . We will be back next season !

Sandusky/Cedar Point Vacation

Beautiful loft with great view of the bay and Cedar Point! We also enjoyed the downtown area with restaurants and beautiful landscaping around the public areas. If you are going to Cedar Point, it is a short drive or a 5 minute Jet Express boat ride which departs from the dock next to the Loft. If we return to Sandusky, we will definitely choose this property again!

Awesome Condo

This is a great place to stay. The ferry to Cedar Point/Put In Bay is right next door. So the kids were able to get back and forth from Cedar Point on their own. The condo looked like the pictures. It was very clean, easy private parking, and the view was wonderful. Dan, the owner, was very friendly and responsive to all the questions we had.

Great Location, Minor Improvements Needed

Our family of four (two adults, two younger children) spent a few nights at this condo on the bay. The location is excellent, right on the bay and within walking distance to many attractions! The community pool was very nice, clean and large. The view was also wonderful... the kids enjoyed seeing Cedar Point lit up at night. The condo itself could be improved a bit. The kitchen was missing some key cooking items, such as a baking sheet and oven mitt. We ended up using a pizza sheet that has seen better days itself and is probably due for replacement. All of the glasses seemed to be oversized, which is fine for adults, but doesn't work so well for 6 year olds. It was also quite dirty--there was hair on the bathroom floor as well as embedded in the main bedroom comforter. Drawers in both the kitchen and bedroom had lots of bits and other debris in them. The bedroom carpet is showing its wear and has quite a few stains, and there seemed to be dead bugs everywhere. The bugs were somewhat understandable due to the location on the lake, but some of the ones on the windows appear to have been there for quite some time. We also had some problems trying to stream from Netflix due to low Wi-Fi speed. Also, one thing to note, although the large windows provide an excellent view, there are no coverings on the upper part of the windows, so if morning light and privacy (especially in the loft) are a concern, you'll need to plan accordingly!

Amazing Stay

We had a fantastic trip to Sandusky and Weisloft was wonderful! The building is easy to find and the unit is spacious, comfortable and was perfect for our family of 4. The view of Cedar Point, the pier and sunrise is fabulous and it was so easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go. Dan, the owner, was exceptional! Our check in/out process was beyond easy and the communication was great. Dan was attentive and made sure our stay was amazing. We can't wat to return to the area and Weisloft!

Great location, close to restaurants, things to do.

Owner was super easy to work with and very accommodating. Condo was clean and perfect for our family of 4 to enjoy our stay in Sandusky. Unfortunately, Cedar Point was closed 2 days during our stay, but we had no trouble finding other fun family-friendly activities to fill our time. The condo is located right on the lake which provided great views, easy walk to restaurants and Jet Express. Pool and hot tub closes at 10:00 pm. Wish they were open longer, but we sure needed our sleep for our busy days in and around Sandusky. Highly recommend!

Nice getaway

Lovely view and convenient location! Having the ferry almost right next door was great. Other than a non-usable dishwasher, property was as advertised. Our 2 grandchildren loved the game table and the bunk bed.

Amazing Stay!

This vacation was truly fantastic for our family. The loft was clean, it had amazing views and downtown Sandusky was just the right size. We found restaurants and shops within walking distance. Dan was helpful with suggestions on things to do in the area, we could have easily spent several more days with other things on our list. Our favorite was a ferry ride to Put-In-Bay. The booking and payment process was managed very professionally by Dan, we encountered a hiccup with VRBO in a reservation change and Dan went above and beyond to make it right within a day. We can't thank the Weis's enough, would highly recommend this spot.

Family visit for Cedar Point

Great place! Lots of character. Great views of Lake Erie and Cedar Point. Watched sail boats coming in during the sunset. Great location! Thank you for having us!
