La Jolla est votre destination de vacances idéale dans le sud de la Californie, car vous aurez un accès facile à la plage tout en restant à proximité de tous les points chauds prisés de San Diego! Ce charmant cottage fournira une base d'accueil pour vous et votre famille et a à peu près tout ce dont vous auriez besoin pour un séjour de détente.

Laissez vos soins à la maison et promenez-vous sur la plage, située à quelques pas de cette maison. Peignez les rives à la recherche d'obus ou laissez simplement le son des vagues fournir la bande-son de votre après-midi. La maison a été récemment rénovée et le salon élégant comprend un canapé confortable (également un canapé-lit) et une tél��vision avec câble et lecteur DVD. Vous aurez également le WiFi ici, donc rester en contact avec le travail ou des amis à la maison ne sera pas un problème.

La cuisine simple a tout le nécessaire pour créer de délicieux petits déjeuners ou dîners gastronomiques. La chambre est joliment meublée avec un lit queen size. Le matin, savourez une tasse de café sur le patio ensoleillé en briques. Avec une chambre et un canapé-lit, cette maison pourra accueillir confortablement quatre personnes.

Cet adorable chalet de plage est parfait pour une petite famille ou un couple à la recherche d'un lieu de vacances unique. Vous vous sentirez comme à la maison ici. Après une promenade quotidienne vers la plage, vous aurez peut-être du mal à quitter cet endroit idyllique! A lovely vacation home to relax in

The cottage is beautifully situated, just two streets from the sea. It is cozy with an inner courtyard where you can have breakfast, barbecue and relax. The location is quiet, you can only hear the seagulls.

The property was nice a quiet, and close to the beach that we were able to walk back and forth. It was a quaint little place we had a great time. Loved that we could buy groceries and cook in the kitchen. The only draw back was that there were little black sugar ants in the place.

Close beach access at affordable price

For the location you can't beat it. I highly recommend bringing a power strip though since there are not enough plugs available for charging phones and running fans. Aside from that, the patio section was a bit of a tripping hazard and there are limited lights at night to see the door code. Bed was comfy and I enjoyed my time in La Jolla.

Great location and affordable

This was perfect for what I needed as I was visiting family. I wasn't there very much, but it was a great respite for me when I walked in the door. Only suggestion is to get a stronger shower head. Having available parking spot and location to beach was just wonderful. Would stay here again.

Great & Cozy

Enjoyed property very much, its super peaceful and steps away from the beach. Only have one suggestion the plants frawns had fallen down and it was blocking pathway and a bit noisy to walk on when trying to get in and out of cottage. Neighbor was bit annoyed with us walking through because of the stepping on the plant order to get around. Other than the cottage was quite cozy comfortable and spacious for 2.

Perfect spot for a lazy week of relacation and rejuvenation. The sound of the surf gently played through the open windows bringing that vital ocean sent with it. A quick walk to Windansea Beach and in easy reach of restaurants and shopping. Perfect place for two.

Escaping the snow of Utah

Needed a handful of days to escape Utah’s grasp on winter. This cottage was perfect for our needs. Within walking distance to the ocean and La Jolla restaurants. Thanks for excellent communications as well.

Close to beach

The location of this cottage is 2 blocks to the beach and walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. No AC so cottage is hot on warm days even with fans. No good cross breeze from small windows. We had an ant issue. There was ant spray so we used that daily. Not a full size fridge so don’t bring too many perishable items. We enjoyed the location as we spent most of our time at the beach and liked being able to walk to dinner.

It was a nice getaway spot. Small cottage behind the main house. Was clean and definitely near a lot of things. The beach was my main focus so it was really nice to be just 2 minute's away. But its also a 20 minute walk from coffee shops and restaurants.

Perfect spot for the weekend - Totally recommend staying here!!

Totally adorable cottage. REALLY appreciated the parking spot!! I stayed here instead of the hotel where I was presenting at a conference. Very clean and great use of space. I stayed alone and really enjoyed my time there very much. Only cautions I would flag for potential guests is the bathroom is small so if you are a plus-sized person, it may not be comfortable. My son is 6'2" and 300+ pounds and I know he would not have been able to fit. And if you rent a car, rent a compact for an easier in-and-out from the parking space.

Don't stay here.

There was no way of contacting the property manager. It had basically no heat and the neighbor is rude and complains about "noise," which consited of coughing too loudly.

Great Location but. . .

Access to the ocean is just unbeatable here. Vacasa seems well organized and efficient. But…killed a few ants in the kitchen everyday, smallest bathroom on the planet, bathroom is located on the opposite site of the tiny space from the bedroom, the bed is inadequate for two and the covers don’t fit the bed. Could only get Netflix on the TV, parking is in a very narrow one way alley (rent a small car), and the room was hot when the temp hit 70. If you can afford it, try something else.

The cottage is cozy, but it is not well maintained. There are traces of mold on the ceiling and windows. The wooden frames are weathered. Weeds are growing in the courtyard, the upholstery of the chairs is dirty. The cottage was only superficially cleaned. There was thick dust under the furniture and a tuft of black hair under the shower curtain in the bathroom. A complaint I made about a broken hairdryer was not answered. The cottage is beautifully situated, just two streets from the sea. It is cozy with an inner courtyard where you can have breakfast, barbecue and relax. The location is quiet, you can only hear the seagulls.

The worst!

We got there and there was a tag on the door. The gas had been shut off. We called and called and called. Nobody ever got back to us. We had a business dinner and couldn’t shower. We had to find a hotel and we were very late. We better get our money back!

Great little cottage within walking distance of the beach. Really clean and comfortable. No air-conditioning and limited air circulation with location of windows but still comfortable. Only things I would flag are that the private patio wasn't really useable. It seemed to be storage for the main house which is right next to the cottage. And if you are a large person, the bathroom may be too small for comfort. For reference my son is 6'2" / 300 lbs and would not have fit. But would definitely would stay there again if in La Jolla!

Not what we expected…

The VRBO listing did NOT disclose that this “cottage” was actually a remodeled garage on the same property as the owner… the check in instructions were very vague. It took us 45 minutes to figure out that we needed to go to the back alley to enter the property. Even after calling the rental company for help on how to find the house, the color of the front door was not the same as pictured on the listing and the rental company had the wrong color as well. Upon arriving, ants were discovered in the living room and kitchen along with a beetle. After finding multiple bugs, my boyfriend and I looked over the whole inside and found an ant trap full of dead ants inside the kitchen cabinet which contained CLEAN dishes. I was extremely disappointed. The rental company did refund half the cleaning fee which I do appreciate. However, I have never been to a VRBO so inaccurate from what I saw online. The rest of the house was clean enough, but it looks like it hadn’t been truly deep cleaned in a long time. Loved the location but wish the listing was more clear that this house is not necessarily private as the owners live a couple steps away in the main house.

Don't Do It

Myself and two young children arrived to this location to an overwhelming smell of mold. While calling VACASA to assist in a fix for the issue, I noticed small 3-4 mm bugs crawling in and out of the base boards of the living room. VACASA said they would dispatch an emergent fix for the problem and would call me back in 30 minutes. NO call back, NO response when I sent letter to company. The only comment from phone person was no one else had complained about this place, which I find VERY hard to believe. I ended up paying a very large amount of money for a last minute booking to a hotel nearby for SAFE accommodation. VACASA was given 7 days to respond to my complaint prior to posting this review. Seriously find a different place. This is not what it seems.

Too cozy for 2 adults and adult-sized teen, but awesome location!

Pros: amazing stretch of beach. The rocks gave a tier, and led to more private beach feeling. No commercial development = quiet neighborhood. We were looking for a peaceful respite, and this neighborhood and beach were amazing. Great weather, warmest Sam Diego water ever (finally, no need for a wetsuit), which is a bit beside the point. Close to all the happening places, like Pacific Beach. If you want a peaceful neighborhood and beach, but still be close to the action, this is the neighborhood. Cottage was a very short walk to the beach. Dedicated parking a big plus. Cons: No a/c, and it was a bit warm for my husband. Adult-sized teen was very uncomfortable on the pull-out. Not enough seating for 3 for relaxing or dining, but probably ok for a couple with a little. Decor was cute, cottage could use some TLC repairs and a few minor upgrades, like a new shower curtain, drywall repairs, some scraping and fresh paint, etc. was otherwise clean and decently stocked with linens and kitchenware. Large dorm-sized fridge, so bring a cooler. No ocean view or breeze, but a very short walk to the beach. One couch no other seating except for small dinet for two, so no relaxing for more than two adults. Great proximity to everything Sol Cal.

Location was great. Parking on site was nice. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels. It would be nice if the kitchen had basics like salt and pepper. Beach chairs need replacing. The outdoor area needs some fixing up and there is NO light near the front entrance (broken) so you have to use a flashlight! It was a good stay, overall.
