Property Description:
Escape to this beautifully appointed garage apartment on the "Quiet Side" of Mt. Desert Island. Some of our favorite restaurants are within easy reach of this attractive home, not to mention many attractions to Acadia National Park, including Ship's Harbor, Wonderland, and Echo Lake freshwater swimming. Just down the road, you can hop the passenger ferry to the Cranberry Isles for a day of exploring island living!

SECOND FLOOR: Entry from the driveway area leads to stairs to access the second floor apartment. Combined Living/Dining/Kitchen/Sleeping area in a spacious studio apartment. All new furnishings, mini-split heat pump and AC unit, adjustable king bed, and reclining sofa add comfort and style. Wide screen TV, counter seating for two, and dining table for four people. Kitchen features a two-burner induction cooktop, an apartment-size refrigerator, microwave, and other counter appliances for modest meal prep. Full Bath with a shower stall.

OUTDOOR SPACES: A quiet, shady garden area beside a bubbling pond features a bench, small table and chairs for outdoor enjoyment.

NOTE: No dishwasher or washer/dryer. Laundromat services available in the village of Southwest Harbor if needed.
