Perfect for two people, this cozy, newly renovated and well appointed apartment will provide a relaxing spot to enjoy your vacation. Multiple park access points are within 2 miles, Bar Harbor and the Park Loop Road are 20 minutes away. Everything was clean and easily accessible. The kitchen supplied just about everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We just needed to purchase perishables. The location was perfect, close to Acadia National Park but on the quieter side. We even saw 3 deer right on the property!

This was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. We spent most days exploring the many lovely areas nearby. As Floridians, we were a bit surprised there was no air conditioning, but honestly we didn't need it! It was a great homebase!

Photography trip

I met some friends in Southwest Harbor for a photography trip and my stay was at The Bungalow. Everything about the place was just as advertised. It was a great space for one or two people. I really loved the location, just a few blocks from shops and restaurants but far enough away that pulling out into traffic wasn’t a problem. I had a tiny glitch when I first got there (all on me) and when I reached out I had an answer within minutes. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if I ever get back to Acadia!

Pretty centrally located to Acadia. Next time will have to go beginning of May when more things open

Would so rent this place again. Nice location and we even seen some deer in the backyard when we arrived one evening after hiking. đŸ„°

Southwest Harbor Bungalo

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect for enjoying all of the Acadia area, while being within a short walk to downtown Southwest Harbor. The Bungalow was updated, clean, and comfortable. It was also convenient to have a washer and dryer within the unit.

Great stay

The Bungalow was great! Only issue was with the TV ( operator error) Ingrid took care of it while we were exploring Acadia the next day. We enjoyed seeing the deer outside the door one morning.

Quaint Bungalow in Perfect Location

We loved our stay at the Bungalow! It was a great location in SW Harbor (right next door to kayak rentals and down the street from bike rentals). Check and check out was a breeze. If you are going into Acadia, this is a great spot. The bungalow is well appointed with everything you need. The only thing to be aware of is we found the wi-fi to be pretty slow, but it likely will not be an issue for most visitors.

Charming and Clean

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage. It had everything we needed and is in a great location, especially close to the Bass Harbor lighthouse. The biggest challenge we faced was the size of the shower and bedroom... they're pretty tight for a 6'5" man. But everything was clean and accurately described. We appreciated this lovely place!

Perfect stay for 2!

My boyfriend and I were first timers to Acadia National Park and the Bungalow was the perfect spot to stay for the week! Not only was it cute but it was very clean and more than enough room for the two of us. The location was amazing, not far from local shops and restaurants and only 10 minutes to some of the beautiful trails the park has to offer. It is only 25 minutes from Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain and Jordan Pond. Ingrid was great! She left detailed notes and directions on how to get to and about the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Acadia or bust!

My husband and I had been wanting to explore Maine and Acadia for years and finally bit the bullet. The accommodations at The Bungalow were perfect for our needs. The area has the nickname "the quiet side of the island," which we really appreciated as well (Bar Harbor was crazy!). We basically just slept and showered at The Bungalow, but we did take advantage of being able to do a load of laundry and have a frozen pizza for dinner one night. My husband and I both slept liem rocks! The bed and bedding were both very comfortable, and the bedroom was wonderfully dark. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Bungalow again and would definitely recommend.

The place though small worked for the two of us. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to eat as the restaurants wer about half a mile from the home.

We loved the location and having a washer and dryer with soap provided! The Bungalow was very clean and the reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is because the furniture was stained, the couch was bumpy from the springs and the bedspread didn’t smell fresh. The place itself was quite cool with the old wood mixed in the structure. The kitchen is beautifully redone and is well stocked. The bed was comfy although it is a very tight room for space. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. We would stay here again if in the area.

The bungalow was a great way to see all Acadia has to offer while staying separate from the business of Bar Harbor. The unit is cozy and has plenty of stocked appliances. Southwest Harbor is a hidden gem and still close to any sights you have on your agenda.
