The space Great outdoor sitting area with bar table and chairs.
The property was perfect for our stay! Comfy, cozy, clean and convenient to access so many beautiful places on MDI. We wish we could have stayed longer!
The place though small worked for the two of us. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to eat as the restaurants wer about half a mile from the home.
We loved the location and having a washer and dryer with soap provided! The Bungalow was very clean and the reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is because the furniture was stained, the couch was bumpy from the springs and the bedspread didnât smell fresh. The place itself was quite cool with the old wood mixed in the structure. The kitchen is beautifully redone and is well stocked. The bed was comfy although it is a very tight room for space. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. We would stay here again if in the area.
The bungalow was a great way to see all Acadia has to offer while staying separate from the business of Bar Harbor. The unit is cozy and has plenty of stocked appliances. Southwest Harbor is a hidden gem and still close to any sights you have on your agenda.
A lovely place to stay! Conveniently located within walking distance to coffee and shops in Southwest Harbor, and a bed so comfy I took note of the mattress as we were packing up.
This was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. We spent most days exploring the many lovely areas nearby. As Floridians, we were a bit surprised there was no air conditioning, but honestly we didn't need it! It was a great homebase!
Clean, cozy, conveniently located near the heart of Southwest Harbor. Walkable to center of town and just a few minutes drive to trails, mini golf, grocery store, and a lake for swimming.
Everything as advertised. Walked daily to at least one meal in SW Harbor. Pretty much just slept there or stopped in to change clothes after hiking. Fun time - Would come back again! Two deer visited us during the week.2nd Sat. of July - Pink Flamingo Parade - Marches right past this property. Loads of fun!
I met some friends in Southwest Harbor for a photography trip and my stay was at The Bungalow. Everything about the place was just as advertised. It was a great space for one or two people. I really loved the location, just a few blocks from shops and restaurants but far enough away that pulling out into traffic wasnât a problem. I had a tiny glitch when I first got there (all on me) and when I reached out I had an answer within minutes. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if I ever get back to Acadia!
We loved the bungalow and staying on the quiet side in general! Such a great area with good hikes, food, and shopping all nearby. The Bungalow had everything we needed!
Our stay was so great! The property is even cuter than pictured, perfect for a two person getaway. We were able to access everything we needed in the park and have a quieter retreat from bustling bar harbor. We would absolutely stay here again!
The bungalow was a lovely home away from home with just enough of everything to make our stay on MDI very comfortable. Communication with host was stellar and made check in and out a breeze. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage. It had everything we needed and is in a great location, especially close to the Bass Harbor lighthouse.
The biggest challenge we faced was the size of the shower and bedroom... they're pretty tight for a 6'5" man. But everything was clean and accurately described. We appreciated this lovely place!
Perfect cozy place to stay while visiting Acadia. We were able to eat breakfast, pack a lunch and spend the day in the park hiking and biking.....and then return for dinner and a good night's sleep. Quiet, great location, clean, all the things you'd need in a kitchen without being cluttered. Laundry was a bonus. Clear instructions from the host, and very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend staying in Southwest Harbor - so much more quiet and relaxing, while still close to everything.
