Hello and welcome! We`re Agnes & Carlo, the family behind The Slöpe, our second home near scenic Lake Tahoe. We’re not a big management company for vacation rental homes— we`re just a small family-owned and operated host team behind The Slöpe, who truly cares about our guests. 🗣️ `We had a great stay at at this Airbnb. We needed a place with AC that could accommodate our newborn during the heat wave in Tahoe. Once a minor problem was fixed we were able to get ample AC in every room. The renovation and bathrooms were immaculate with some really cool features like a smart shower. the house backs up to highway 89 so you could hear some traffic at night but nothing that would be out of the ordinary. 📍LOCATION
The Slöpe is a short drive from the many attractions South Lake Tahoe has to offer like many golf courses, Sierra-At-Tahoe and Heavenly Ski/Snow Resorts, and many great restaurants! Access to Lake Tahoe is just minutes away, offering water adventures and scenic views.

**For full transparency, The Slope sits near a local roadway, and light road noise may be heard from the back side of the home at times. Most guests find it minimal, but we prefer to mention it ahead of time so you have an accurate picture of the setting.**

🏖 Pope Beach (10–15 mins) -- A family-friendly beach with calm, clear waters, sandy shores, and shady pines. Perfect for swimming, picnicking, paddleboarding, or just relaxing by the lake.

🌲 Washoe Meadows State Park (5 mins) --J ust around the corner from The Slöpe, this peaceful, less-crowded park offers beautiful walking and biking trails, river views, and wildlife sightings.

🚤 Emerald Bay State Park (25 mins) -- One of the most photographed spots in Tahoe—famous for its vibrant blue water, Fannette Island, and historic Vikingsholm Castle. Ideal for hiking, boating, or simply taking in the view.

🎲 Stateline Casinos & Nightlife (15 mins) -- Harrah’s, Hard Rock, and Harvey’s offer live shows, gaming, restaurants, and nightlife. Great for an adult night out after a day of outdoor fun.

❄️ SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE (Winter Season Only)
As you`re preparing for your stay at The Slöpe, we wanted to let you know about our winter maintenance. We use a professional snow removal service to keep the driveway and walkway at The Slöpe clear and accessible for you after snowfalls.

• When: Snow service personnel typically come shortly after it snows, often early morning or during business hours (e.g., 9 AM - 4 PM), but it varies by storm.

• What to Expect: You might hear a plow or see our team shoveling/salting. They`re quick and aim to keep everything safe and accessible.

• Your Access: They`ll ensure you can get in and out easily, but please be mindful of freshly cleared areas or piled snow. If cars are parked on the driveway at the time of active snow removal, the service will be unable to clear the snow properly, which may limit access or reduce available parking space once everything freezes over.

We keep a few snow shovels in the garage if you ever need to clear a small area or fresh snowfall during your stay.

✅ Up to 2 parking spots on the driveway in front of the house are available for you and your guests. The garage is now available for parking for up to 1 car. Unfortunately, no trailers or RVs are permitted on the property grounds. Kindly make parking/storage arrangements for your rigs.

✅ Guests will have the ability to check themselves on the day of their arrival. The front door is equipped with a convenient electronic keypad lock for self-check-in.
