The cabin was just what we needed. Just the right size for our group. And the location was beautiful and close to a lot of activities we were interested in.
We came up for the weekend for a Hockey Tournament and this house was a great location for being out of town and not to far from the rinks and town for food, things to do etc.
Love the spot was close by to the beach we went to and the casino. We even had bears that visited us when we were checking out and the property manager gave us an extra hour for check out so the bears have time to move away from us.
Property was very cozy and lovely, perfect for a home stay for a small group of friends or family. Rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable, with the bed made and extra bedding and pillows. Interior of property of was very clean and reminiscent of a hotel. Went during March and most of the city of Tahoe was still covered with snow or slushy snow so I cannot say much about the exterior. However, the driveway is a bit narrow and compact, but good for 2 small cars to park side-by-side. Overall, stay at property was fun and very enjoyable.
We really enjoyed our time and the cabin. The kitchen has everything: good knives, pans, some spices. A crock pot would be a great addition. Everything was very clean and when we contacted the property management for two things, they were very prompt. The decor is 1970's and there is only room for two cars. We were a bit bothered by the noise from Pioneer Trail traffic but the setting is lovely.
This cabin was perfect for our group that went. ( 7 adults [ 2 couples, 1 mother with child, grandmother and a family friend ] 1 10yr ) the sleeping accommodations worked fine for us with 3 bedrooms 1 for each couple and 1 for grandmother... the loft bed had my sister and her child. The couch was not a pull out which we thought it was booking but it was still accommodating as a place to sleep. The pictures do not do the place justice as it looked like it was going to be a little crammed with the size of our group but it was not. Very nice deck on the back. The grill was pretty dirty and needed heavily cleaned out before we could use it but that wasn't a big issue. Definitely enough plates, cups and silverware. No cast-iron skillet but again not an issue just would have been a bonus for cooking up the lake trout we caught. Over all everyone had a great time and felt comfortable.
Would definitely recommend this cabin and would have no issues booking again
This was the worst cabin Iâve ever stayed in . Check in process was unorganized , text message told me to to wait in vehicle but then then the employee told me to come in . When we arrived to the cabin , it had a funny smell in it ( like it wasnât cleaned ) dishes were filthy , cabin was very outdated , furniture was stained and dirty , towels had brown stains on them, cobwebs in the window and ceilings , previous tenant left the propane tank turned on, nails sticking out on the back deck in which we tripped over and out pants got stuck on, shower water turns cold if someone else in the house turns on the water , fingerprints all over the fridge , no dishwasher on the premises , unable to do early check in due to it being cleaned but the cabin was dirty when we got there , had to go pick up keys instead of keys being in a lockbox . We have never been so disappointed in a cabin stay before and all the fees were outrageous for a crappy stay . We will never be back again !
Very close to everything we needed (heavenly village, heavenly main lodge, tubing, snowmobils). Cabin had everything we needed (except for dishwasher). Very nice, clean, cozy. Perfect for the family.
It was definitely fun and a great place to stay to see and enjoy nature. Close to the town and other places to do. Booking was made easy and they were there when needed.
