Cette maison au bord du lac a tout ce que vous pourriez demander pour un week-end ou un mois de séjour remarquable sur le lac Oconee.
La cuisine gastronomique a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour cuisiner pour un groupe de 2 ou 12 personnes. Vues sur le lac depuis toutes les fenêtres de la cuisine, salon / cheminée. Ouvert et aéré avec de hauts plafonds. Cheminée empilée en pierre. Chaque chambre est complète avec les meilleurs draps et couettes en duvet d'oie.
La zone de divertissement au bord du lac est complète avec un foyer et un coin salon Flagstone donnant tous sur le lac et le quai max. Les couchers de soleil sont incroyables alors que nous faisons face à l'ouest sur le lac. Veuillez apporter du bois de chauffage si vous prévoyez d'utiliser le foyer.
Si vous aimez pêcher, la pêche sur le quai est fabuleuse pour le bar, le crappie, le bord et le poisson-chat. Apportez des vers comme les poissons les aiment!
Des kayaks et canoës sont fournis pour votre plaisir. Courte promenade en canoë ou en kayak jusqu'à la marina de Granite Shoals avec un tout nouveau restaurant et une boutique maintenant ouverte
Promenade rapide ou balade en canoë de 200 mètres vers les maisons de castor, le nid de balbuzard pêcheur (vue depuis le quai) et de nombreux autres résidents du lac (grues, aigrettes, canards et oies)

Having kayaks on the property made it fun to be able to use the lake at any time.

It was a beautiful house on the lake. And not for from delicious restaurants and shopping.

Wonderful property and location

Pictures didn’t do it justice! Off the beaten path but spacious and beautiful place. We enjoyed morning and sunset kayaks. Kids loved it and parents too. Cannot recommend enough!

Family Getaway 2019

Great property on the end of a quiet street. Tons of toys such as kayaks, canoe, floaties, outdoor fire pit, great views. House was clean and pretty well stocked with all the necessities. It was super hot when we went and their AC was AWESOME. Would definitely stay again

VALENTINE WEEKEND GETAWAY

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway!!! It is in a beautiful location and the deck overlooking the backyard/lake is a great place to relax. We saw a lot of wildlife including the osprey!!! We are looking forward to the warmer weather for a return trip for fishing and water sports!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake home!!

Beautiful lake front home

The owner DJ was very quick responding to all of our messages. She was very accommodating with our arrival time. The property is located on a very quiet and peaceful street. You have only one neighbor to the left of the property. Whom might I add is very nice. On the other side you are surrounded by woods. The lake is gorgeous and so much fun to go tubing on. We rented a boat from the boathouse located 4 minutes by car from the house. The children enjoyed fishing from the dock. They especially loved being able to jump off the dock to swim. It was to hot to enjoy the fire pit out back. The weather was perfect!

August rental

House was not clean, refrigerator full of half empty bottles and cans, dishes were not clean had to be washed before use. Bedrooms had musty smell, not sure if sheets were changed. Yard was not well kept had things laying all over place. This could be a nice place if it were cleaned up, but would not recommend it

Nice to getaway

Some of the furniture like the couch and master bed had a lot of wear and tear. We were glad we brought our own pillows. I usually bring some kitchen cleaning supplies with me just in case, but I forgot and had to go get paper towels since there were none there. We were there during a rainy weekend, so we enjoyed the fireplace and just being away from our house. If it hadn’t been cold and rainy would have Enjoyed the outside fire pit too. Mixed messages on the WiFi situation on the property listing but they do have it and it was fine.

Beautiful Home

While looking for a house to rent for a "girls" weekend, with my two adult daughters, Osprey Landing was the one I kept coming back to during my Internet search. It had everything we wanted...on the lake, three bedrooms (that were equal in appeal), beautiful decorations, and a lovely fireplace. That fireplace was the center of our weekend since there was rain and cold. The wooded surroundings provided a restful, quiet atmosphere. Osprey Landing must be even more beautiful in the spring/summer. The owner has lots of planters on the large deck overlooking the lake that would be a gardener's delight when leafed out and blooming. All along the path to the dock and surrounding the sitting area/fire pit there are lights which would be lovely during warm weather. The three of us had a wonderful weekend in this charming home.

Poor experience

The property looked good online from the photos provided. The actual property did not appear in person as what was displayed online. There were light bulbs out, porch furniture over turned, beer caps around the fire pit, lights broken and out along the pathway down to the lake, the front gate was mossed over with two VERY obviously broken entry lanterns, the porch funriture was mildewed, there were dirty dishes in the pantry and even broken chair legs in the kitchen table area. The carpet in this home needs to be replaced, the stains are just gross.

DO NOT RENT!

Our family of 6 adults and 1 infant rented for 4 days, to have an extended weekend of water fun and celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. The view and direct access were good. The fridge was not working our entire stay, and the owner made no attempt to fix the fridge, only told us to get ICE and she would reimburse??? all our meat, and perishables went bad. Kyaks were child size, and battered or broken, only one kayak was barely functional, oars were broken. Canoe, if you could call it that, did not have oars, weight capacity was 315lbs (not enough for two adults). When we called the Ower she told us to go to Walmart ( over 20miles away ) to buy oars and she will reimburse us, REALLY????. The home overall, was average, too much clutter on bathrooms, and kitchen counters. No place to keep your clothes as the closet and bureau was locked. rusty nails poping on the deck (very dangerous). I could go on, and on. The owner is not responsive or caring!!

Not as expected

At one time this property looked as if it was probably very nice. However now the entire place seems unkept and run down. The wooden back porch swing had been broken and repaired but was broken again. It would have been dangerous for anyone to have sat in it. The wooden table on the back porch was also falling apart. The kayaks were filthy with water and debris. However , when we called the caretaker, he came out the next morning and cleaned them. There were two John boats down by the dock that were filled with water. There was a jet ski and a boat that were at the dock that were nasty and covered with spider webs. There were also wasps and wasp nests throughout the back and front yards. Both front and backyards had many flowerpots that were filled with dead plants and/or weeds. The backdoor was warped and would not lock from the outside. We had our boat with us, so whenever we would leave the property from the dock, someone would have to lock the house from the front and walk around to the back. The inside of the house had a bad,musky smell. We ended up going to the store and bought air fresheners, which we put in each room, which helped. All of the rooms were so cluttered with stuff that it was hard to have room for our own things. The pantry and many drawers and cabinets were locked, so again it was difficult to have room for our food and other belongings. The house was relatively clean, however there were dead bugs on windowsills and on the floor. We also had trouble with ants in one bedroom and coming in through the backdoor. We enjoyed the lake and staying in the area and looking for deer on each outing but was very disappointed in the house and feel that the pictures and descriptions misrepresented the property entirely.

PEACEFUL THANKSGIVING GETAWAY

We had a wonderful time at this home for an extended Thanksgiving stay with our furbabies. Our boys loved being out on the dock with us fishing where we caught catfish and bass. We all enjoyed exploring the grounds and going on our neighborhood walks. Beautiful time of year to go too! Cozy home with comfortable beds. Lake Oconee is a gorgeous area that we truly enjoy.

Great Vacation

This property was great for my family , we enjoyed the spacious deck and the dock was amazing for fishing. Our host DJ was very quick to respond to questions. Over all a great location to get away for quick vacation. We will definitely be booking again.

Great location!

You are right on the lake! The house has a large deck with great views. Also, there are neighbors only on one side of the house, so it feels quite private. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.

Osprey Landing, Lake Oconee

Overall this was a great property. Good location and quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard and deck. Check in took over an hour because there was a technical issue with accessing the email with check in instructions. Owner fixed the problem when contacted. Dirty towels in the wash room when we arrived, but the house keeper came and got them and brought us fresh towels. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Exactly what we needed!

House was very comfortable and well furnished with beautiful views of the lake. Convenience of a private dock for our boat was a real plus. DJ & Hunter are easy to work with and responsive to emails. Looking forward to rent again soon!

Great Location

This is a beautiful property situated at the end of a cove. Very quiet, not much boat traffic, no road traffic. Quiet, private & serene. Saw deer every day. We really enjoyed having a boat dock a short walking distance from the house, we rented a pontoon from Oconee Wild Watersports and enjoyed boating the beautiful lake every day. The house has a nice floor plan, all one level, with master on one end and guest rooms on the other. Beds are very comfortable, linens are great. Kitchen table comfortably seats all our family members. Appreciate this property is pet friendly. We will book this property again.

Perfect Location

Super nice house right on the water with the perfect morning/evening view overlooking the lake. Checking-in was very easy and the host checked in throughout the stay to see if there was anything that we needed. Great place!

Great location!!!

Such a great place right on the water. Although we didn’t get a chance to get out there if you’re looking for some fun on the water this is a great location. Very quit and secluded and an awesome deck and fire pit to enjoy being outside.

Comfortable Lakeside Home

We enjoyed our short weekend stay. Our hosts were very accommodating and available. House has everything you need along with a big deck and a beautiful view of the lake. We felt at home and would stay here again!
