We aren't sure where the previous reviews came from. But, our experience was not the same. The host communicated the entry information the week before we arrived and the directions were clear. We attempted to communicate with the host via text, email and through vrbo to ask if we could drop our luggage off arly. But we never received any replies.The apartment is located within walking distance of the ferries, shopping and dining in Oaks Bluff. It looks like it has been recently remodeled as far as flooring, cabinets, etc. We have come to expect a level of convenience when staying at vrbo locations. They include bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, pots and pans, and cleanliness. The apartment had two (2) old bath towels, no wash cloths, no kitchen hand towels, no pots and pans, the microwave and stove had no electric power and it appeared this was normal as the gas/propane stovetop had matches sitting next to it to light the burners. The refrigerator notification of water filter change was overdue. The description lists this property as able to host 4 people. The couch setup for 2 people outside of the one bedroom would not be suitable for adults. Tall children would be hard pressed to be comfortable. The shower water control had no cover between the handle and wall and had plastic taped to the wall to keep water from penetrating the wall.
