Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
Beautiful lower level apartment with all amenities included. Own entry, laundry room and bar styled kitchen. Great for vacation, business trips and/or leisure. One bedroom, one bathroom gorgeous place available in an amazing area close to all major train stations.
Ashley was great. Very responsive and helpful. The apartment felt very cozy. Th neighborhood is fine, near the subway with several convenience stores. Her handyman brought us a small Christmas tree. We enjoyed our stay.
The apartment is clean, the water pressure is good, the hot water comes on right away, the tv is a little tricky to get to work right, and the automatic door lock kinds of sticks, you have to give it a good push to open up. No complaints, walking distance to Prospect Park, enjoyed walking around the park. Great time!
Thank you Ashley for the quick and easy communication, the accommodation was excellent, clean, in a safe area and only a few minutes away from the train station. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a place not too far from the city but also very safe and easy to get around. The host was extremely sweet and her communication was top notch!!
Very clean. The apartment is in a basement, not a first floor. It is not at the location advertised Friday some reason, and it does not sleep 8. We were only three of us and had difficulty sleeping on the cheap, very short, foam "couch" or a twin futon with metal bars protuding into one's back. The air mattresses to be used on a hard floor were in a closet that would not open. This is a place for college students. Any one with difficulty getting down or up from the floor to sleep should avoid.
Every interaction I had with the host was lovely â she was very accommodating and quick to respond. The unit was very clean, especially for a basement, and the laundry situation was very convenient. Train service was very accessible too.My âconâ list is small. The listing didnât mention that this was a basement, and it lists several more beds than are in the unit (specifically a number of Murphy beds). The bed had a broken leg, and a member of the maintenance team came to attempt to fix it. He was very nice, but I wasnât warned that he would be coming, so his arrival was a little inconvenient. Rain came in via a leak in the bathroom doorframe, which was only an issue because I didnât expect it and slipped on the tile. There were some noisy neighbors as well, but obviously the host canât control that!Overall, I would definitely stay here again â there were just enough bumps in the road that I canât give it a perfect 5.
Check in was simple. Host answered right away when we messaged. The neighborhood is nice and my dognloved walking around and hanging out in the outdoor space, which is adorable. Minus the mulberrys everywhere but thats not hosts issue i felt safe leaving my dog while we ran out for errands. I will stay here agaib
Ashley was a great host; very communicative. There was nothing we needed that wasnât available at this condo with the exception of an actual coffee maker. There was only a Keurig and no K-cups so the coffee I brought was only useful because I brought my own portable drip coffee maker. The location was great. Just a block away from the 2 train and maybe 3 blocks to the 3 train. We were visiting with my son on Pacific Ave., and headed to a Mets game as well so this worked out overall. The technology (WiFi and Roku) worked seamlessly. There were several maintenance issues with this basement apartment that I have addressed with the host, and the listing needs to be updated. Hopefully these are all addressed for the next renter. Bottom line, a convenient and cozy place, but would not classify it as âluxury.â
This spot was what we'd hoped it'd be for our trip. It's within convenient reaches of the 2,3,4,5 trains, is in a beautiful and safe area, slept our family sufficiently, and had a WASHER/DRYER combo!!The communication was excellent from the host and though we had our reservation cut then reinstated due to an issue with the platform, we knew our host would handle the issue, which she did!A few things that are being updated by the host- the shower drops a bit onto the floor, the dryer caused a great deal of moisture in the wash room, there were listed 'murphy bed's on the listing, but we figured that was a platform issue in trying to communicate that air mattresses were available. There was a double bed and two sleeper sofas- one easily fits two. We'd definitely stay again and appreciate our host making sure this trip happened for us!
Extremely nice home. Great location. Within walking distance to food, stores and 2/5 train. Never had an issue with street parking. Very friendly and safe neighborhood. Home was well equipped! Excellent hospitality from the host! We will definitely be returning!!
